Over: I grew up around dogs my whole life, so I’m very experienced taking care of them. Since moving to Amsterdam, I’ve regularly pet sat for friends here, everything from quick drop-in visits to longer stays of up to 15 days. I live in a big apartment with my partner, who also loves pets, so we’d be two people looking after yours and it would rarely be alone. We’re close to Erasmuspark, great for walks and playtime, and our place has a big balcony too. I work from home most of the time and only go to the office once a week, so I’m around most days. Happy to take dogs on long walks, or just spend lots of time at home if it’s a cat! Sleeping in the bedroom with me is totally fine, or the living room if your pet prefers sleeping on its own. We currently don’t have any pets of our own. I can do both during the week and weekends. Right now I work from home 4 days a week and I go to the office once a week. This is flexible though, so I can also stay home full-time if needed. I love giving lots of affection and spending quality time with the pets in my care. I do have an active social life, but when I have an animal with me, I try to stay home as much as possible so they feel accompanied and don’t feel alone. If it’s a dog, I really enjoy long walks, so I’d take them along with me. I prefer looking after pets at my own place, but in some cases I’m also open to pet sitting at the owner’s home. As for sleeping, I’m flexible, they can sleep in the bedroom with me or in the living room, whatever they’re more used to. As for pets, I don’t own any currently.

I grew up with two wonderful dogs a Bernese Mountain Dog and, more recently, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who is still living happily with my family in Brazil. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs—whether that’s going for active walks and playtime or simply relaxing together for a cuddle on the couch. I am the sole caregiver and will always be the one responsible for your dog’s care and supervision. I understand how important it is to feel that your pet is in safe, reliable hands. I do have an 8-year-old child who is present after school hours. He is very gentle, respectful, and absolutely loves dogs. He enjoys playing and cuddling with them, but your dog will never be left alone with him—I am always present and supervising interactions to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. I work full time, but I am self-employed, so can bring dogs with me to work. From there we can go for a longer walk around lunchtime, or shorter toilet breaks as necessary. Longer walks are also possible before or after work. On weekends we can go for adventures to the many parks of Amsterdam. I have a bakfiets, so if it’s ok with you, we can get around town with the wind in our fur! I have a clean and welcoming environment in my home, with room for playing and napping. I live on the third floor, and there are stairs inside my apartment too. I’m happy to carry smaller dogs up and down, but this might be something to consider. In general, when I am caring for a dog, it’s much like having a child to take care of. I do have an 8 year old (who is very sweet and gentle with dogs), so your dog has to be friendly and comfortable with children. I also need to know how your dog is with other dogs and people, so I can act accordingly. I never let dogs off leash before i know them very well, because I take my responsibility very seriously. And always pick up poop!

Over: I’ve lived with both cats and dogs: grew up with a stubborn teckel, and more recently adopted a senior cat. I love the energy of puppies and the peace of old aged pets. Due to my schedule I can’t adopt anymore but miss that contact and energy. I do mostly have a hectic schedule, but the days or periods when I’m off I can adapt and give my full attention to your pet. I live in an apartment with a small high fenced garden. Besides that I live next to a big park that allows for long walks a runs.

Specifically, if your dog stays with me, I am happy to start our day with an early long walk at the park, then a shorter one during noon and a large one later in the evening. Over: I have had 2 dogs growing up, of which one a Swiss white shepherd. I get along with dogs and wish I could have one myself but since I live alone it’s difficult for me to fully commit at this time - for the time being I would love to sit! I work from home most days, and am therefore free to take walk breaks. Besides my 9-5, I don’t have other big commitments. I live in a spacious enough studio, but I have enough space outside to go for walks. Also a park relatively close if you we feel comfortable going there.

Over: Apart from growing up with a feisty jack russel and now owning and training an easy going toller, I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter and an assistance dog school for the last 10 years. I work from home regularly and effortlessly combine that with taking car of my own dog, leaving time to add another dog into the mix either in our home or by walking/visiting your dog at their home. I have a very friendly and easy going toller that can function as a play or sleep buddy. Your dog is welcome to stay at our place, where there is also enough space for the dogs to hang our separately from each other. If I visit or walk your dog I can bring my own dog, but obviously can also give your dog some one on one quality time

Over: I’ve had dogs all my life, from small to big dog, and naturally that came with a lot of puppy training, also had multiple dogs at once so multitasking and duo-boy walking is no problem. Overall I love pets and connect with them quite easily Im a student and work part time during weekends, so that leave most of my week free as I go to 1-3 lectures of 2h during the week. Now during summer I’m much more free, and my work schedule is quite flexible I live next to a park and walk most of the time to vondel park, my apartment is quite spacious for any size of dog and I have a little Terrance

She asked the dogs schedule regarding food, walks etc. During the day care Marta updated me with Teddy whereabouts and asked whether some behavior is irregular or not. Marta and Philip even rescheduled their evening since I need them till later than anticipated. Definitely recommend her!”

We are located right between Rembrandtpark and Vondelpark for long, scenic adventures. In my home, pets are welcome on the sofa for cuddles during the day. At night, I prefer pets to sleep comfortably in the living room. I offer boarding, dog walking and house sitting. I’m always happy to do a 'Meet & Greet' on neutral territory to ensure we are a perfect match. I speak Russian, English and I am currently learning Dutch. I provide frequent photo/video updates as often as you’d like (several times a day or upon request) so you can have total peace of mind.
