Over: I grew up around dogs my whole life, so I’m very experienced taking care of them. Since moving to Amsterdam, I’ve regularly pet sat for friends here, everything from quick drop-in visits to longer stays of up to 15 days. I live in a big apartment with my partner, who also loves pets, so we’d be two people looking after yours and it would rarely be alone. We’re close to Erasmuspark, great for walks and playtime, and our place has a big balcony too. I work from home most of the time and only go to the office once a week, so I’m around most days. Happy to take dogs on long walks, or just spend lots of time at home if it’s a cat! Sleeping in the bedroom with me is totally fine, or the living room if your pet prefers sleeping on its own. We currently don’t have any pets of our own. I can do both during the week and weekends. Right now I work from home 4 days a week and I go to the office once a week. This is flexible though, so I can also stay home full-time if needed. I love giving lots of affection and spending quality time with the pets in my care. I do have an active social life, but when I have an animal with me, I try to stay home as much as possible so they feel accompanied and don’t feel alone. If it’s a dog, I really enjoy long walks, so I’d take them along with me. I prefer looking after pets at my own place, but in some cases I’m also open to pet sitting at the owner’s home. As for sleeping, I’m flexible, they can sleep in the bedroom with me or in the living room, whatever they’re more used to. As for pets, I don’t own any currently.
Over: I've been surrounded by dogs for most of my life. I grew up with two wonderful dogs a Bernese Mountain Dog and, more recently, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who is still living happily with my family in Brazil. Since moving to Amsterdam, I've really missed having animals around, so taking care of dogs here feels like a natural way to continue doing something I genuinely enjoy. Besides caring for my own dogs, I've looked after my cousin's cat on two separate occasions for around 2 3 weeks each time, as well as my sister-in-law's dog. These experiences have taught me the importance of respecting each pet's personality and routine, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I live with my girlfriend, who is also a big animal lover, and we both have flexible schedules, which means your dog will have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. We live directly across from a beautiful park and the Sloterplas lake, making it the perfect location for long walks, playtime, and outdoor adventures. Whether your dog loves playing fetch, exploring the park, or simply relaxing on the sofa with plenty of cuddles, I'll make sure they feel at home and receive the same care and affection I'd give my own pets. My name is Pietro, and I live with my girlfriend Susana. We both have flexible schedules, and on weekdays there is always one of us at home, so pets are rarely alone for long periods of time. Our daily routine allows us to give pets plenty of attention, company, and care throughout the day. We can easily adapt to each pet’s needs, whether that means regular walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or simply spending time together. On weekends, Pietro and Susana enjoy taking longer walks in the morning or evening, especially around Sloterplas Park, where pets can enjoy fresh air and explore. We genuinely love having animals as part of our routine and making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while they are with us. I want every pet to feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while they are with us. My girlfriend and I are both big animal lovers, and because we have flexible schedules, there is almost always someone at home to keep them company. We live in a comfortable two story home with a secure balcony, giving pets a safe and welcoming space to relax. Our home is a calm environment where they can feel comfortable, play, and enjoy plenty of attention throughout the day. We truly enjoy having pets around whether it's going for a walk, playing with their favorite toys, or simply relaxing together on the sofa. We love creating a place where pets feel like they are part of the family. When caring for a pet, we always respect their routine and personality. We make sure they have fresh water, food at their usual times, a clean space, and lots of attention and affection. We also love sending photos and updates, so owners can feel reassured and connected while they are away. Our goal is simple: to make your pet feel happy, safe, and loved.

Over: I’ve had a dog since I was 10, so I grew up learning how to train and care for one properly, not just from a course. Here in Amsterdam I look after dogs regularly and can put you in touch with past clients for a reference. I want to make sure your dog feels at home as possible with me! I’m a student and work part-time, so I have real flexibility during the week, not just evenings and weekends. That means I can adjust to your dog’s routine rather than squeezing care in around a rigid schedule, whether that’s a midday walk, extra playtime, or just more one-on-one attention. I keep my calendar updated so you can see exactly when I’m free to book! I’ve spent years learning to read what dogs need, when they want more attention and when they’d rather be left to settle. My home is dog-proofed, with nothing lying around they could get into or accidentally swallow. I live right next to several parks, so there’s always somewhere close for walks and playtime without needing a car. I keep owners updated with photos and messages throughout the stay so you always know how your dog is doing.

Over: I grew up with dogs and, as an adult, have regularly cared for dogs for friends, so I feel very comfortable and confident around them. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs—whether that’s going for active walks and playtime or simply relaxing together for a cuddle on the couch. I am the sole caregiver and will always be the one responsible for your dog’s care and supervision. I understand how important it is to feel that your pet is in safe, reliable hands. I do have an 8-year-old child who is present after school hours. He is very gentle, respectful, and absolutely loves dogs. He enjoys playing and cuddling with them, but your dog will never be left alone with him—I am always present and supervising interactions to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. I work full time, but I am self-employed, so can bring dogs with me to work. From there we can go for a longer walk around lunchtime, or shorter toilet breaks as necessary. Longer walks are also possible before or after work. On weekends we can go for adventures to the many parks of Amsterdam. I have a bakfiets, so if it’s ok with you, we can get around town with the wind in our fur! I have a clean and welcoming environment in my home, with room for playing and napping. I live on the third floor, and there are stairs inside my apartment too. I’m happy to carry smaller dogs up and down, but this might be something to consider. In general, when I am caring for a dog, it’s much like having a child to take care of. I do have an 8 year old (who is very sweet and gentle with dogs), so your dog has to be friendly and comfortable with children. I also need to know how your dog is with other dogs and people, so I can act accordingly. I never let dogs off leash before i know them very well, because I take my responsibility very seriously. And always pick up poop!
“Marie was super happy to see Tripti again and we immediately felt comfortable leaving our little dog in her care. It was clear how excited she was to spend time with her again, and that gave us so much peace of mind. We really appreciate her kindness, reliability, and the genuine love she shows for our dog. Highly recommend!”

“Ale was amazing with our dog, Willow. She took her on several walks, kept me updated throughout the day & even took her to the park. When I picked Willow up, I felt like she was sad to leave Ale, which is the best sign ever. We’ll bring Willow back any time to spend the day with Ale!”

Over: I’ve lived with both cats and dogs: grew up with a stubborn teckel, and more recently adopted a senior cat. I love the energy of puppies and the peace of old aged pets. Due to my schedule I can’t adopt anymore but miss that contact and energy. I do mostly have a hectic schedule, but the days or periods when I’m off I can adapt and give my full attention to your pet. I live in an apartment with a small high fenced garden. Besides that I live next to a big park that allows for long walks a runs.
Over: Every pet has its own quirks, routines, and personality—I take the time to get to know them all. Responsible, reliable, and attentive, I make sure every furry friend feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether it’s energetic zoomies, endless games of fetch, or earning the approval of a judgmental cat, I’m more than happy to adapt to what makes each pet unique. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Since I work from home, I’m around throughout the day to give pets the attention, company, and care they need. I also love going on walks, especially around Sloterpark, which is next to my apartment, so having a dog that sniffs and pees all around the grass along makes it even better. I enjoy taking breaks for playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, making sure they feel happy and cared for until they’re reunited with their owners. Specifically, if your dog stays with me, I am happy to start our day with an early long walk at the park, then a shorter one during noon and a large one later in the evening. I know how much our pets mean to us, so I’ll care for yours the way I’d want someone to care for mine—with patience, love, and lots of attention. Before looking after your pet, I’d love to get to know their routine, favourite activities, little quirks, and anything that helps them feel safe and happy. Whether they’re staying with me or I’m visiting them at home, my goal is always the same: to make sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and never lonely while you’re away. I’ll keep you updated, give them plenty of affection (if they’re into that!), and make sure they have a fun, safe, and stress-free time.

Over: I have had 2 dogs growing up, of which one a Swiss white shepherd. I get along with dogs and wish I could have one myself but since I live alone it’s difficult for me to fully commit at this time - for the time being I would love to sit! I work from home most days, and am therefore free to take walk breaks. Besides my 9-5, I don’t have other big commitments. I live in a spacious enough studio, but I have enough space outside to go for walks. Also a park relatively close if you we feel comfortable going there.
Over: Apart from growing up with a feisty jack russel and now owning and training an easy going toller, I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter and an assistance dog school for the last 10 years. I work from home regularly and effortlessly combine that with taking car of my own dog, leaving time to add another dog into the mix either in our home or by walking/visiting your dog at their home. I have a very friendly and easy going toller that can function as a play or sleep buddy. Your dog is welcome to stay at our place, where there is also enough space for the dogs to hang our separately from each other. If I visit or walk your dog I can bring my own dog, but obviously can also give your dog some one on one quality time

Over: I’ve had dogs all my life, from small to big dog, and naturally that came with a lot of puppy training, also had multiple dogs at once so multitasking and duo-boy walking is no problem. Overall I love pets and connect with them quite easily Im a student and work part time during weekends, so that leave most of my week free as I go to 1-3 lectures of 2h during the week. Now during summer I’m much more free, and my work schedule is quite flexible I live next to a park and walk most of the time to vondel park, my apartment is quite spacious for any size of dog and I have a little Terrance
“Marta is swift in communication, not only during the day care but also before. She asked for a meet & greet before taking the job which I find very professional and attentive. She asked the dogs schedule regarding food, walks etc. During the day care Marta updated me with Teddy whereabouts and asked whether some behavior is irregular or not. Marta and Philip even rescheduled their evening since I need them till later than anticipated. Definitely recommend her!”

Over: I have been a dedicated pet owner since 2018, living with two rabbits and a cat. This taught me a lot about different temperaments—from the quiet needs of small animals to the playful nature of cats. Since moving to Europe, I’ve regularly cared for family dogs, including a challenging situation where I had to provide emergency care during a poisoning incident, so I stay calm under pressure. As a psychologist working remotely, I offer a peaceful environment where your pet will never feel lonely. I’m an active person who genuinely loves fresh air and long walks. Whether your pet needs high-energy exercise or just a calm presence nearby while I work, I’m happy to adapt to their routine. I’m friendly, patient and treat every guest like my own family. As a psychologist working from home, my schedule is very flexible. Your pet will never be lonely as they are welcome to stay in the same room while I work. I have fixed times for my language classes and Pilates, but I easily adapt my day for walks and playtime. Living right by Lelylaan, I am steps away from both Rembrandtpark and Vondelpark. I love getting fresh air and typically walk dogs multiple times a day based on their energy levels. I live with my partner, so there is always an extra set of hands and double the love for your pet! I live in a spacious 67sqm first-floor apartment in New West with a secure inner courtyard — perfect for quick fresh air breaks! We are located right between Rembrandtpark and Vondelpark for long, scenic adventures. In my home, pets are welcome on the sofa for cuddles during the day. At night, I prefer pets to sleep comfortably in the living room. I offer boarding, dog walking and house sitting. I’m always happy to do a 'Meet & Greet' on neutral territory to ensure we are a perfect match. I speak Russian, English and I am currently learning Dutch. I provide frequent photo/video updates as often as you’d like (several times a day or upon request) so you can have total peace of mind.

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m super happy with Shamira! She took such wonderful and loving care of my two dogs, Gini and Specki, during their daycare stay. 🐶❤️ You can immediately tell that she genuinely loves dogs and is very caring and reliable. I especially appreciated that Shamira kept me updated throughout the day and regularly sent me little updates. It was so reassuring to know that Gini and Specki were doing well, and I felt completely comfortable leaving them in her care. 😊 They both clearly felt very happy and comfortable with her. Thank you so much for taking such great care of them! We’ll definitely be back and I can absolutely recommend Shamira to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. 🐾❤️”
