A year and a half ago I got myself a dog (Copito) and he became family right away. In Peru, I have always lived surrounded by dogs (3 actually 😅) and now I am more than happy to share my life with Copito and hopefully your dog 🐶. Over: Ive grown up around animals in a farm. I have two poodles at my parents house that I love to go visit but whenever I cant travel I love to spend my time around other dogs :) I currently work part time at a gym so my routine is very flexible and active. I run in the park and spend time reading outside quite often. I live just 2 minutes from Rembrandtpark, so daily runs are a given. I have two poodles myself, so dogs are genuinely part of my life not just a job. My place is spacious and they have plenty of room to roam. Over: Sinds ik mijn hond Kaya uit Roemenië heb geadopteerd, heb ik veel trainingen en cursussen gevolgd om hondengedrag en lichaamstaal beter te begrijpen. Ik heb gewerkt als hondenuitlater in Amsterdam en ben gewend om met roedels van vijf honden te lopen. Ik vind het heerlijk om op honden te passen, omdat ze bij mij thuis echt tot rust kunnen komen, maar ook mee kunnen naar het bos voor lange wandelingen en om de natuur te verkennen. Het allerbelangrijkste voor mij is dat alle honden zich op hun gemak voelen. Ik werk momenteel parttime en zal binnenkort bijna fulltime thuis zijn, omdat ik op afstand ga werken, slechts een paar uur per dag. Dat betekent dat ik veel tijd heb om van de honden te genieten en samen naar buiten te gaan. Ik zorg er altijd voor dat de honden hun eigen bench of mand hebben om in te slapen wanneer we thuis zijn. Het doel is om de honden in een roedelwandeling mee het bos in te nemen, zodat ze daarna thuis kunnen uitrusten en zich voldaan voelen.

Daarnaast pas ik regelmatig op de hond van mijn zus, een rescue uit Spanje. Ik werk voor mezelf vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel aanwezig ben. Dat maakt mijn huis ook geschikt voor hondjes die niet zo graag lang alleen zijn. Ik houd zowel van korte als lange wandelingen en neem honden, afhankelijk van hun karakter, graag mee op pad. Natuurlijk is er thuis ook genoeg tijd om te spelen, knuffelen of gewoon lekker te ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik een fijn tuintje waar honden lekker kunnen relaxen als het mooi weer is. Mensen omschrijven mij als rustig, warm en zorgzaam. Wat je van mij kunt verwachten? Veel liefde en aandacht voor je hond, regelmatige updates en foto’s, en de geruststelling dat je hond in goede handen is. Ik plan vooraf altijd graag even een kennismaking in, zodat we kunnen kijken of er een goede match is. Ik woon op 40 m² met een tuin. Voor hele grote honden is mijn woning daardoor waarschijnlijk minder geschikt. Goed om te weten: omdat ik op de begane grond woon, hoor je soms geluiden uit het trappenhuis. Daarom is mijn woning minder geschikt voor honden die erg waaks zijn of snel aanslaan bij geluiden. Voor vragen mag je altijd contact opnemen! 🐾 Ik werk voor mezelf vanuit huis en ben daardoor veel aanwezig. Huisdieren zijn dus zelden lang alleen. Mijn planning is flexibel en ik ben over het algemeen veel thuis, waardoor er genoeg tijd is voor wandelingen, speeltijd, rustmomenten en verzorging. Overdag stuur ik ook graag af en toe een update of foto, zodat je weet hoe het met je dier gaat. Ik woon op de begane grond aan een rustige, autovrije straat en heb tevens een volledig omheind tuintje waar honden lekker kunnen relaxen. For their safety, I highly recommend crating puppies under 2 years old and any dog with a pattern of chewing or swallowing household items (remotes, pillows, etc.) when you are not home. Crate-trained pets will be crated per the owner’s instructions. Having an 11-year-old husky means I have had my fair share of experience with unexpected veterinary visits and emergencies. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport, pet sitter will provide receipts and apply a charge for reimbursement of costs incurred to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it takes to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet. Hourly rates are as follows: 8am-5pm: €10/hr 5pm-10pm: €12/hr 10pm-8am: €16/hr Holidays & Weekends: €18/hr *veterinary emergency room visit wait times can exceed 8 hours on weekends and holidays Cleaning & Vehicle Damage Policy: If pet sitter is required to clean up bodily fluids due to illness (vomit, urine, blood, diarrhea, etc) in order to maintain a safe environment in your home, their own home, or their personal vehicle, a one-time fee of €40 will be applied to your booking. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner.

Over: I’m a highly experienced dog owner with 9 years of hands-on care, having raised my dog from puppy to adulthood. I understand energetic, intelligent dogs well and provide consistent, attentive care. I work from home, so dogs are rarely left alone and get plenty of supervision and interaction throughout the day. We live in a house with a garden, offering space to play and relax safely. My household includes two children on a part-time basis, both familiar and comfortable with dogs, creating a calm and social environment for any visiting pet. I'm working from home and can take care of your pet based on it's needs. I'm walking my dog twice a day for roughly 1 - 1,5 hours but I'm very flexible when it comes to my work schedule and walking times. I have a fenced yard and live in a house. My dog Milo is very friendly and gets along with almost all dogs. There are nice parks nearby to provide long walks (Burgermeester park, Jagersveld, Twiske). I am comfortable to give medicine to your dog. I consider myself a very experienced dog owner.

However, Amanda and Marinna assured us that they are familiar with reactivity, and they indeed seemed to manage just fine.
