I have been a proud dog owner for over 12 years, and caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. For the past 5–6 years, I have also looked after dogs for friends, family, and people in my community.
I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and understand that every dog has its own personality, needs, and routine. I pay close attention to their body language and behavior so they feel safe, relaxed, and understood. Whether your dog is energetic and loves long walks or prefers a slower pace and lots of cuddles, I’m happy to adapt to what makes them comfortable.
I love being outdoors, so long walks, playtime, and keeping dogs mentally stimulated are something I truly enjoy. Your dog’s safety and well-being will always be my top priority. I will treat your dog with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own.
I am reliable, calm, responsible, and communicative. You can expect regular updates, photos, and messages, so you always know how your furry friend is doing while you’re away.
I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, and my goal is to make both you and your dog feel completely comfortable. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family member! Since I’m currently not working, I have a lot of time and flexibility to dedicate to pets. I enjoy having animals around and I’m happy to adapt my day to their routine and needs. A typical day for me is quite relaxed. I usually start my morning with a walk, and I’m happy to take a dog with me for a longer walk if they enjoy it. During the day, I spend a lot of time at home, so pets wouldn’t be left alone for long periods. I enjoy playing with them, giving them attention and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. I’m also very happy to look after cats. I understand that every pet has a different personality and routine, so I always try to follow the owner’s instructions and give each animal the care and attention they are used to. I’m flexible with my time and can adapt to different routines, whether a pet needs walks, company, playtime or simply someone around while their owners are away. Pets are welcome throughout my home and are free to move around and feel comfortable. I don’t have a garden, but I do have a balcony. They can relax wherever they like, and I also have a cozy little corner for them to sleep and rest. Of course, they can also find their own favorite spot in the house. 😊

Over: Ik heb als kind zelf altijd honden gehad en ze ook altijd uitgelaten en veel met ze geknuffeld en gespeeld. Zelf hebben wij een chihuahua gehad die hebben we helaas moeten laten inslapen. Maar de liefde voor honden is er nog steeds mijn kindjes zijn ook gek op dieren. Ik werk in de zorg als zzp’er maar werk nooit hele lange uren achter elkaar kom tussen door altijd naar huis. Daarom hoeft de hond nooit langer dan 4 uurtjes alleen te zijn. De kindjes vinden het ook leuk om te helpen met het uitlaten en het borstelen van de hond Ik heb een omheinde Thuin dus de hond kan niet weg lopen. De hond mag bij ons op de bank liggen en op bed liggen

Over: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a very pet-loving family where we always had at least three dogs, sometimes four, alongside rabbits, fish, and other pets. Over the years I’ve lived with and cared for a wide variety of different breeds, including Bernese Mountain Dogs, Newfoundlands, a Cocker Spaniel mix, a Maltese Poodle, and a Boerboel. Having had both giant breeds and smaller dogs as pets has really taught me how different every dog is and how important it is to adapt to their individual personality, energy level, and needs. I regularly took our three Bernese Mountain Dogs on hikes in the mountains and on adventures to forests and lakes, while our smaller dogs much preferred a relaxing walk on the beach or park. I now work from home full-time, with no pets currently, and live just a short walk from Vondelpark, which means I have the flexibility to give plenty of attention, walks and playtime throughout the day. I live just a 5-minute walk from Vondelpark and usually head there at least once a day, so dogs staying with me can enjoy regular walks and lots of time outdoors. Over: I moved here recently here with my partner and I am taking a break from nursing to pursue other things! I love dogs which is why I have my own dog named Andie, who I am home with most days. We welcome dogs into our home, and your dog can have a little playdate! I have experience with separation anxiety, and I will honor whatever care plan that you may have in place. I can administer medications and make sure your dog feels welcome and secure. I will provide as many updates you like on your pup because I know what it’s like to feel anxious about not being around them. My home is open to your fur baby! I am free most days and can walk your dog whatever their schedule is. I am very flexible with stays at my home or at yours any day of the week. In my home, I let them sniff the area first to get the lay of the land. This will give them space to get comfortable surroundings and understand that it is a safe space for them. Since my dog is also home with me, I prefer they meet in neutral territory for a meet & greet to ensure that it is a good match, however I’ve had other dogs come over without the need for one, and it has been okay. I just like to take the extra precaution to give both of us piece of mind. At the client’s home, I’ll follow yours and your dog’s routine. I’ll initially watch them closely to assess how they interact in their home. I do this for my own understanding so I can best read their needs.

I will provide regular meals according to your instructions, ensuring your dog is well-fed. Your dog will have constant companionship, so they won't feel lonely. We’ll spend time together with petting, cuddling, and relaxing. I will also take into account any special requirements, such as administering medication or following a specific diet.

Op dit moment heb ik drie katten en een vogel, maar vroeger ook cavia’s en konijnen gehad. Honden heb ik nu zelf niet, maar in de toekomst zou ik graag wel een hond willen. Ik heb daarentegen wel ervaring met het uitlaten en spelen met honden, omdat vrienden en familie wel honden hebben. Of het nu gaat om katten knuffelen, een vogel verzorgen of met een hond wandelen, ik doe het allemaal graag met plezier en liefde. Uw huisdier is in goede handen bij mij. Ik heb op dit moment werk, maar ik ben erg goed in plannen! Samen kunnen we vast een geschikt moment vinden voor één van mijn aangeboden services. Ik heb zelf 3 katten en een vogel. De begane grond is hun ruimte: een open keuken en eethoek met een bank, en genoeg plek voor de honden. Vanuit deze ruimte is er directe toegang tot de patio. In de winter houden we de deur naar buiten dicht, maar in de zomer staat de deur open zodat ze vrij in en uit kunnen lopen. We gaan ook meerdere keren per dag naar buiten om met de bal te spelen, naast de wandelingen in het park. • Our house has two floors and a garden of around 40m². The ground floor is their space—an open kitchen and dining area with sofa, and plenty of room for the dogs. From this area, there is direct access to the patio. In winter, the door will be kept closed to go outside, but in summer, the door is open so they can freely go in and out. We also go outside several times a day to play ball, in addition to the walks in the park.

Over: Ik heb eigenlijk altijd met dieren gewoont en er hart voor gehad, zelf heb ik bij een dierenhotel gewerkt met voornamelijk honden en beseft dat het veel leuker is om voor mezelf te werken zolang er maar honden om me heen zijn. Ook ben ik op mijn vorige werkplek getraint om met lastigere honden om te kunnen gaan wat ookal zeg ik het zelf best goed doe. Ik heb op het moment 1 hond waar ik structureel op pas en het liefst spendeer ik mijn vrije tijd ook met honden want ja als je doet waar je van houdt hoef je geen enkele dag te werken. Thuis kunnen ze lekker op de slaapbank of op 1 van de 2 poefjes liggen of op bed mist ze schoon zijn hahhaa, vondelpark is bij mij om de hoek dus daar zijn we ook regelmatig te vinden.

I keep numbers small on purpose so that your dog gets real attention, a proper routine, and someone who actually notices if something feels off. I use an intake form with every booking so I know your dog's routine, quirks, health needs, and what they're like with other dogs before anything is confirmed. No surprises for either of us. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. I ask for: honest answers on the intake form and a quick meet-and-greet before boarding or sitting bookings. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.

Mijn vriend heeft ruim 10 jaar ervaring met honden en is opgegroeid met een hond vanaf zijn zevende. Daarnaast passen we regelmatig op het hondje van een vriendin. We wonen in Amsterdam, maar maken graag lange wandelingen in het Vondelpark of rijden naar een mooi natuurgebied voor extra avontuur. Bij ons krijgt jouw hond veel liefde, aandacht en beweging. Omdat ik momenteel tussen twee banen in zit, ben ik veel thuis en kan ik mijn dag volledig afstemmen op de behoeften van jouw hond. Dat betekent alle tijd voor wandelingen, spelen, knuffelen en de verzorging die jouw hond gewend is. Mijn vriend werkt fulltime, maar is ’s avonds en in het weekend ook graag betrokken. Samen zorgen we voor een rustige, liefdevolle en betrouwbare omgeving waarin jouw hond zich snel thuis zal voelen. Ik vind het belangrijk dat een hond zich veilig en op zijn gemak voelt. Daarom houd ik zoveel mogelijk de dagelijkse routine aan die hij of zij gewend is, zoals vaste wandelmomenten, etenstijden en eventuele medicatie. Er is volop tijd voor aandacht, spelen, rust en knuffels. Ik stem de verzorging altijd af op de wensen van het baasje, zodat jouw hond de zorg krijgt die hij of zij verdient.

They took him for several short pee breaks during the day which we really appreciated since it is quite hot out to do longer walks today.
