Over: Growing up I always had cats and dogs in the house. When moved to the Netherlands my dog and cat stayed with my parents. So I don't have pets of my own at the moment. I often pet sit (or pet visit) for my friends' dogs / cats. Since I work 100% from home and very flexible I can really devote time to take care of one of your ball of joy 🥹😻 It also can be more pets at once but from same family🐾 I live right next to the big park Schoterbos where I normally take my walks. My apartment is my own, it's very spacious one story (over 80m2) with two balconies. Located on the 4th floor with elevator. I can dedicate a whole room with a small couch, window, lots of light to the pet. Or it can move easily through the whole house and have access to all rooms. Your pet can have enough space and plenty of room to run around. You're very welcome to bring your pets sleeping pillow or blankie 🐾😀 I don't have many plants and the ones i have are no threat to animals. I do this because of my love to animals. I love taking care of them; playing with them and having them around. I'm very responsible and conscious of the handling of pets. As I'm very flexible with my time I can really commit to more and longer walks if needed. My services include: Dog walking🐾 1 hour walks around the area (the park I live next to) Home visits 🦴1 home visit a day to check in on your 🐩🐈⬛, walk, feed them if needed and spend some time together 😻 Dog sitting 🐣 spend time at your home or mine, with daily walks Dog boarding 🏡at my home or yours. 1 night = 24 hours. Feeding, walking with them up to 3 times a day, and giving my all attention😻 Please note, for pick up later than a booked stay (24hrs) - a daycare should be booked additionally I work fully remote from home. Have plenty of time to take care of your pet and devote time for daily walks. During the weekends I’m completely free and flexible. I have no pets of my own and I don’t board different pets at once so that your pet is safe and sound. I have two balconies and I live right next to the park.

“I took my dog, Frenkie, to Iris. She is just amazing. I was a bit nervous about bringing my dog to a carer but Iris is wonderfully calm and serene. She reassured me at every step. She sent beautiful photos of Frenkie throughout her stay. Frenkie is a a very energetic dog but Iris was so good with her. I can highly recommend Iris.”
6. Emma C.
“Emma has a dog and two cats, they are very happy pets, well cared for in every way, they are loved, time is spent with them and their needs are met, Emma has looked after other peoples pets as well as having her own, they are given the same loving, caring attention that she gives her own pets. I have witnessed the love, care and attention the pets receive, they are happy, relaxed and live in a warm, happy loving environment. Emma has looked after my dog and I've been able to leave my pet with Emma, without being worried or anxious, as I know my pet would be looked after, loved and cared for in the same way as she looks after her own. Emma is a very caring, loving person who thinks of others and is person who loves animals with her heart and soul.”

8. Natalia M.
“Natalia is absolutely a dog person. She watched my one-eyed then blind husky, Lola, and took amazing care of her. She walked her, fed her, gave her morning eye drops, mid day eye drops and night time eye drops, but most importantly loved her. Lola loved spending time with Natalia. I felt calm and at peace knowing Lola was with Natalia. I would recommend Natalia to watch your doggo with my eyes closed!”

Over: Hi! Stuur me gerust een berichtje.

“Gloria is a very nice pet sitter! :) Very conscienscious and try her best for your pet. My cat is very shy but she try to confort her. Thanks again Gloria! For sure I will call you back ! :D”
12. Lynn D.

Over: Super-Short About Me: • UvA student living in Haarlem • Loves animals of all shapes, sizes, colors, and temperaments • Trained volunteer in Ciapkowo animal shelter in Gdynia, Poland • Took care of friends' and family's pets many, many times • Had a pet basically all my life (guinea pig, hamster, dog, cat) • Comfortable with cleaning litter boxes, picking up poop, giving medicine, walking, training, difficult animals •Available around Haarlem and Amsterdam Slightly Longer About Me: I'm a student at the UvA, from Poland, living in the centre of Haarlem. There's always been a pet (or pets) in my home and in my life until my last dog passed away and I moved to the Netherlands for my studies. I miss animals dearly, so taking care of yours will be a pleasure. I have experience with cats, dogs, rodents (and can probably figure out fish); both long- and short-term. I used to volunteer at an animal shelter back in Poland (Ciapkowo) where I went through training. I can deal with very difficult dogs (stubborn, running away, aggressive towards other dogs or people). My own, late husky that I adopted from that shelter was most likely traumatized and it took years for her to learn to not be scared of everybody. With the support of an animal behaviorist, she went from biting every hand that went a little too close and refusing to look at anybody talking to her, to doing tricks, walking with no leash and loving belly rubs. If you're looking for somebody dedicated, with experience, able to take care of pets of any size and even the most challenging characters, don't hesitate to reach out to me. I have a lot of free time and the time I need for work is mostly spent in my apartment, where an animal companion would fit right in. July-September I have even less to do, with no university during the summer break. I do my best to adapt to every animal's and owner's needs. I can deal with annoying cats, stubborn dogs and violent hamsters. I can give medicine orally, change bandages and do training. In my apartment I don't have any pets and I live with my partner who loves animals too. It's not the biggest place, but there's more than enough space for all of us.
