I grew up with pets (dogs and rodents) and have taken care of pets practically my whole life. 5 years ago, I took a wonderful boy called Charlie home from the shelter (you can see him in all of my pictures). He was already a bit older, and I was lucky to have him by my side for 4.5 years until he sadly passed away last October. I have a big heart for animals, and therefore miss taking care of a hairy friend! I have experience with taking care of both small and larger dogs, as well as senior dogs and dogs with medical needs.

Schedule
I generally work monday-friday but can sometimes work from home, so it depends on the day, but I will always communicate this during the booking. When taking care of a dog I do my best to adjust my routine to meet the needs of the dog.

Safety, trust & environment
I try to suit the needs of the animal and respect their boundaries. If they prefer to be lazy or alone, I give them space, if they prefer interaction and play, I give them attention. I feed them and walk them as agreed with the owner.
A typical day
Of course multiple walks a day and continuous interaction (talking, petting, playing, depending on the dog) are always part of the routine, and besides that, I will discuss with the owner what the preferences are of the dog :)

- I would like to know as much as possible about the personality of your dog! For example whether they like a lot of attention or prefer their personal space, if they like to play, whether they like to interact with other dogs while out on walks, what their energy levels are, if they have fears (e.g. fear of abandonment when the owner leaves, traffic, etc.), to be able to make your dogs time with me as comfortable as possible!
