Over: I 🌱 happiness! Dutchie here :) Nederlander hier! I know what animals communicate energetically and they like that a lot. I leave them, plants & places even happier. I've had a french bulldog (with 1 eye) for 10 years and grew up with cats as a kid. I've always petsitted throughout the years. In the beginning mostly through friend and family. Now professionally, and mostly in Berlin and Amsterdam. And I love animals and I also love nature. Experienced plant-, house- and animalsitter over here. I am from the Netherlands, but currently spending time in Berlin, hopping from sublets to animalsits. I love animals and am happy to spend time with them. I am a singer and freelancer, so I spend a great deal of the day at home and it is important for me to have a place with great WiFi. But offcourse during summer I also sometimes leave the house for a couple of hours so that should be okay with you. I am happy to send you pictures and video's during the sit! So you can stay connected in that way as well. Energy is loud to me, so I always say that animals talk! Even if it's without human words. I love cuddling them (if they want to), sing around them or leave them alone (if they want to ;p) I am a calm yet energetic, happy and steady person and I know how to improvise if needed. I do prefer easy animals. Meds I can put in their food if needed. Happy to follow your instructions.

Over: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. Starting with my first dog which was an energetic King Charles spaniel to my now two dogs, one a very hyper Labrador and the other a very high energy golden retriever, Australian shepherd cross. In between taking care of them, taking them on hikes, to rivers and just everyday walks I’ve also done some pet sitting for my neighbours the last 4 years. I have experience with small puppies to older dogs, low energy and high energy dogs all with different needs. I’ve been to puppy trainings with all three of my dogs and have put a lot of extra care into their nutrition too. I’m currently studying at the university of Amsterdam so I have plenty of time to come look after, check in, or walk your pets at any point of the day. Wethers it’s during the week or the weekend I am very flexible to adjust my schedule. I have experience walking my two large dogs and dogs of all other breeds and sizes so you can feel assured I know what I’m doing when it comes to keeping your pets safe.

Over: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was 10 years old. I am the regular sitter for my parents lovely beagle, but I have experience with dogs of all sizes from Bichon’s to Bernese mountains. I am happy to administer medicines to dogs. I have a flexible work from home policy, so can support you and your pet when you need me, from morning to evening and over night! I have access to a medium-sized fenced garden to keep your dog safe during those mid-night pee’s. I have ample space for a crate if needed. I live in De Pijp, right next to Sarphatipark and other open spaces.

My mom never allowed me to have a pet of my own, but I would call and approach every dog on the street, recognizing the breed and asking their owner if I can cuddle them. I still do it, up to this date. ❄️ Earlier this year I volunteered at a kennel working with Greenland sled dogs - one of the high-energy breeds out there. It taught me more about reading dog body language, respecting boundaries, and staying calm around powerful dogs. I have a background in psychology, and I care about building trust - with dogs, cats and their owners. I'm good at reading behaviour, which helps me figure out what is needed. 🐶 I started building a pet sitting practice here in Amsterdam and surroundings, recently being supported by my partner. Your pet gets two people looking out for them instead of one. - Your pets get regular walks around the neighbourhood and, if agreed, off-leash runs and fun. - You'll get picture and video updates while you're away, so you're never left guessing. If your dog has a bit of sled-dog / Greenland dog energy, I'll admit I'm a soft touch for those! On the other side, my partner Cesar is an absolute Cat Person, so we're a mix made for all pets. 🐶 🐈‍⬛ Together with my partner we always make sure one of us is available to care for your pet during the petsit - keeping your pet company and providing the regular care (walks, meals, playtime, cuddles). There are several services I provide: - caring for your pet at your place (petsitting) - walking services - drop-in visits (feeding, litter box change, water refill)

Over: Op mijn tiende kreeg ik mijn eerste hond, meteen een hele grote Bordeaux dog genaamd Diesel. Na 2 jaar kwam daar een nog grotere hond Hooch bij. Beide honden heb ik vele jaren met heel veel plezier verzorgd en van gehouden. Toen ik 10 jaar geleden op mijzelf ben gaan wonen in Amsterdam, ben ik begonnen met het fosteren van honden uit asielen in Spanje en Portugal. Angstige honden, honden van de straat, mishandelde honden en honden die nog nooit aan de riem hebben gelopen, jong, oud, ze zijn allemaal bij mij over de vloer geweest. Met ontzettend veel liefde heb ik dit jarenlang gedaan, totdat ik ontzettend verliefd werd op mijn laatste foster; Simba. Ik heb dan ook besloten hem te adopteren en ondertussen zijn we al weer 4 succesvolle jaren verder. Een aantal keer heb ik nog honden uit het asiel opgevangen samen met Simba, maar omdat ik af en toe naar het buitenland toe moet voor werk is opvang vinden voor 2 honden net te lastig. Ik heb ontzettend veel zin om een tweede hond over de vloer te hebben, Simba kan af en toe wel een maatje gebruiken! Ik heb een eigen zaak in het centrum van Amsterdam. Maar als ik van tevoren een oppas aanvraag/planning krijg hoef ik die dagen niet aanwezig te zijn in de winkel, er is dan personeel aanwezig. Wat je kan verwachten; •Opvang met jaren ervaring met verschillende rassen, persoonlijkheden en groottes •Een fijne, rustige en liefdevolle omgeving •Dagelijkse wandelingen, spelletjes, knuffels, en voor de hele slimme honden die niet vermoeid raken van wandelen, doen we denk-spelletjes. •Tweemaal daags een uitgebreide update en door de dag heen foto's en video's. Ik heb een hele vriendelijke podenco van 8 kilo. Hij is rustig en goed getraind en vindt spelen ook leuk. Helaas hebben wij geen tuin maar wel een groot balkon achter en heerlijke zoninval in de woonkamer. De oppashond mag op bed, op de bank, ik heb een huis met weinig dure spullen zodat er niks kapot kan gaan en de honden lekker hun gang kunnen gaan. Ik woon op een tweede verdieping dus de voordeur leidt niet meteen naar de straat. Let op: Voor dagopvang bij ons en/of korte verblijven gaat Simba naar mijn partner. Hij wordt al een dagje ouder en kan dan rustig zijn eigen gang gaan. Op deze manier hoeft er ook geen speciale kennismaking plaats te vinden tussen Simba en de oppashond voor de boeking.

I will take your pets to go on walks in parks and dedicate my time so that they will feel comfortable. Although I live in an apartment so I don’t have any yards, I will do my best to create space for your pet to feel safe. Over: I always had many dogs and cats growing up, and my kids LOVE pets, and are used to being with many different types of cats and dogs. We want to offer the cheapest service with the highest quality. Walks in the park, always me in the house, lots of love and attention. W e have a bakfiets and car so can go anywhere. I am home during the day, kids in the afternoon. Free time! Weekends we would go out to forest, beach, parks… nature. A dream come true for your pet. If it’s a cat we make home made toys as well :) Safe appartement in the center of Amsterdam. Dogs MUST be child friendly. That is our only strict requirement for obvious reasons.
