My name is Paulina, and I live in Amsterdam with my partner, Cesar, in the heart of the Jordaan. We are currently building a pet-sitting practice together. He works as an illustrator and designer from home, so your pets can enjoy plenty of company and attention throughout the day. I recently volunteered at a kennel working with Greenland sled dogs, one of the highest-energy breeds out there. It showed me how important reading dog body language is, how to respect boundaries of working dogs, and how they all want love and cuddles all the same, no matter how big and powerful they look. I have a background in psychology and special needs education, and I’m good at reading behaviour and picking up clues on animal needs. I am currently taking part in a dog-training shadowing programme in Amsterdam. Working together with Cesar means your pet has two people looking out for them instead of one. • We care for puppies, youngsters, and seniors. • We provide regular walks around the neighbourhood. • We can administer medication to both cats and dogs. • We treat every pet with affection, patience, and attentive care. Before each booking, we ask thoughtful questions so we can tailor our care to your pet’s needs. • You will receive pictures and video updates while you are away, so you are never left wondering how your pet is doing. If your dog has a bit of that sled-dog / Greenland dog high energy, I admit I have a soft spot for those! Chill and purring vibe? My partner Cesar is the cat person. We keep your pet’s usual routine as much as possible to make the stay smooth and stress-free for your pets. We'll take the time to understand their individual needs and boundaries. Before each booking, we ask plenty of questions about their routine, feeding, walks, behaviour, preferences and anything else that helps us care for them properly.
Ratings and reviews
Paulina and Cesar were amazing for our pup, Beans. Beans can be a bit difficult to work with at times, but she was immediately comfortable with these two. They have such a confident and calm energy, and clearly a lot of animal experience. They are extremely communicative and send regular updates during their stay. I will definitely be booking with them everytime I need a sitter.
Paulina and Cesar are amazing! They took care of our two cats Jack and James staying overnight at our house and even though we had to return early due to some unfortunate personal circumstances, the house was spotless and they were very understanding and flexible with us. Most importantly they took the best care of our boys, they seemed so happy and relaxed when we got back. Even our more shy cat warmed up to them 🥰 One of our cats has a lot of energy and needs a lot of playtime and we also take him on daily walks, and they even did that and went on a practice walk session before their stay. I can't recommend them enough.
Cesar was amazing and so easy to communicate. I requested last minute and he immediately made his way to pick up the dogs and walk them! They came back sharp on time, and happy after an enjoyable walk! For sure will book him again!
Paulina and Cesar are absolutely wonderful with Jack! They’re both super communicative, reliable, and incredibly sweet with him. They always manage to tire him out, which is quite an achievement! 😄 It’s clear that Jack is in great hands with them, and I’m very happy to have found them both. Highly recommend!
Wonderful people, completely trustworthy, and even our non-cuddly cat wanted to cuddle! Would absolutely recommend Paulina, and I will ask her again next time. Thanks again!

Together we always make sure one of us is available to care for your pet - keeping your pet company and providing the regular care, walks, meals, playtime and cuddles.
