It's important for me to know a few key details ahead of time to ensure the best care: Health Information: Any medical conditions, allergies, or medications your pet needs. Dietary Preferences: Their regular feeding schedule, favorite foods, and any dietary restrictions. Behavioral Traits: How they interact with people and other animals, any fears or triggers, and their general temperament. Exercise Needs: Their activity level and preferred types of exercise. Training Cues: Commands they respond to and any training routines you're following. Special Requirements: Any specific routines or comforts your pet enjoys, such as favorite toys or sleeping arrangements.
A typical day
When I take care of your pets, we have a blast! We go on exciting walks in the park, if that's your pet's thing. If they are more on the homie side, I always try to keep their minds busy with puzzle toys and treat dispensers. There’s plenty of cuddle time, belly rubs, and snuggles too. Plus, I personally love to practice cool tricks and commands to keep them sharp.

Hey there 🐾 I've been combining my remote job as an economist with petsitting for some time now in Portugal, Germany and Amsterdam. With two furry friends back in sunny Portugal (a beagle and a German shepherd), I've got pet love in my DNA. I'll make sure to transpose that feeling of missing my pets by spoiling yours with cuddles and care. I am also experienced with dogs and cats who require special attention, either because of their age or because they're being medicated, or sometimes because they are depressed). Turning myself into your dog/cat's friend would make us all super happy. I'm pretty sure of that! 🐶😺✈

Afonso was incredible! My cat is super shy and hates strangers. Previous cat sitters were never able to interact with her, and all of the pictures that they sent were of her hiding somewhere. Afonso was so patient with her. He not only was able to pet her, but he sent some great videos of her actually choosing to seek him out for attention. He always kept me fully informed - one day he was worried that she didn't eat enough, and he took pictures so he could compare what her food looked like to the next day (she was fine). Do not hesitate to book him - he will take amazing care of your pet.
Alfonso is such a great catsitter☺️ It was my first holiday and I could not have wished for a better catdad for my little Beanie 🫶 Beanie needed special care (medicine, energy and food tracking) aside all things (litter, food, playtime, cuddles) and Alfonso overdelivered greatly 🥰 I received daily updates and cute videos that re-assured me completely. Beanie is superfond of Alfonso and loved the cuddles and playtime 🐯 Next to that Alfonso also kept tracking of airing my place and was always communicative when he would come by and leave. He goes the extra mile and truly cares for pets. I look forward for him to come again🥳
