Hi! I’m Begum, a lifelong pet lover based in Amsterdam for the past two years. I work as a freelance ceramic teacher, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your beloved feline friend. I’ve grown up surrounded by cats and dogs and have always had a natural connection with them. I’ve also helped raise and care for two abandoned kittens, taking over their full-time care after their mother left them. Over the years, friends traveling for extended periods have trusted me to look after their pets, and I’ve loved every moment of it. This opportunity not only allows me to earn some extra income, but also to spend time doing something that truly brings me joy: being around animals :)

We couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter! Begum made our trip completely worry-free thanks to her reliability, great communication, professionalism, and sweet nature. Getting daily photos and videos of Richie and Shiva living their best lives was the highlight of our days. The kitties absolutely loved her, and we’ll 100% be booking her again for our next trip. Begum is great sitter, she took care my cats better then I do. The most important, I like her noticing those small detail things. It shows how she truly cares.
Begum is a really lovely catsitter. Both Misiu and Pim liked her right away and were clearly well cared for. She kept us updated and made us feel very comfortable while we were away. We came home to two happy cats and would gladly recommend Begum and book her again.
Begüm is a very loving catsitter. Our cats Bibi & Sky were very relaxed and well taken care of when we arrived home. Begüm does not only have an eye for playtime, but she also makes sure the living environment is clean. I think we found our go to catsitter 🐈🐈⬛♥️🥰.
