Hi! My name is Jorge, and I’ve spent years surrounded by animals who have made my life so much happier. I have Otto, my slightly mischievous orange cat, who has been part of my life for 5 years. 🐱 We rescued him from a small village in Spain where he had been abandoned and had almost lost an eye. With patience, love, and quite a few eye drops and medications (which he didn’t enjoy at all!), he made a full recovery. He now lives happily with my family in Spain. ⭐️ Currently, I live in Amsterdam and do not have any pets at home, which means I can fully adapt to your pet’s needs, whether that’s caring for cats or dogs, either in your home or mine. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pet as if they were their own. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, or boarding, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. ❤️ I’m really looking forward to meeting your furry companion!

Jorge cuidó de mi gato Pátin en sus últimos años y no podría haber estado en mejores manos. Era un gato mayor y necesitaba tranquilidad y cariño, y Jorge siempre sabía cómo hacerlo sentir cómodo. Pasaban horas juntos, al sol, mientras Pátin ronroneaba feliz. Se notaba que Jorge disfrutaba de su compañía tanto como él de la suya. Es una persona paciente, atenta y con un gran amor por los animales. No dudaría en confiarle a cualquier mascota.
Jorge es una persona a la que sin duda confiaría el cuidado de mis mascotas. Es educado y amable, y sabe como acercarse a los animales y tratarlos de la mejor forma posible. Sin duda lo recomiendo como cuidador.
Jorge ha paseado a mi perro Junior muchas veces y siempre ha sido genial. Junior es un Jack Russell con muchísima energía, pero Jorge sabe cómo manejarlo y mantenerlo entretenido. Además, le tiene un cariño enorme, y eso se nota: Junior siempre se pone contentísimo cuando lo ve. Es de total confianza, responsable y muy atento con los detalles. No podría pedir a alguien mejor para cuidar de mi perro.

Schedule
I’m currently based in Amsterdam and actively looking for a job as a designer, which means I have full availability at the moment and can easily adapt my schedule to your pet’s needs. Once I start working, I’ll still be available on weekends (Friday to Sunday) and during weekday evenings. I live in a very green area near the Amstel River, which is perfect for walks and outdoor time. I enjoy staying active (going for walks, running, or cycling) but I also appreciate quieter moments at home, like watching a movie, cooking, or reading. Because of this balance, I can easily adapt to different pets and personalities, whether they’re energetic and playful or calm and more independent. ☺️

I always adapt my care to each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after. In my client’s home, I respect the pet’s usual environment and routine as much as possible, following feeding schedules, walk times, and any specific instructions. I also make sure they get attention, playtime, and companionship so they don’t feel stressed while their owner is away. In my home, I provide a calm, safe, and clean environment. Since I currently don’t have pets at home, I can fully focus on your pet and adapt the space to their needs. I make sure they get enough exercise, mental stimulation, and rest, depending on their personality. I’m also comfortable providing basic care such as administering medication, cleaning litter boxes, and handling feeding routines. I always keep owners updated with messages and photos, so they feel reassured while they’re away.

A typical day
I adapt activities to each pet’s personality and energy level so they feel comfortable and happy. For active pets, I enjoy going on walks, exploring green areas near my home by the Amstel River, and playing interactive games. For calmer pets, I’m happy to spend quiet time with them, offering gentle play, cuddles if they enjoy it, or simply keeping them company. With cats, I focus on interactive play and creating a calm, safe environment. My goal is always to make sure each pet feels relaxed, cared for, and not alone. 🫂
