My name is Poppy and I’m a designer from the UK living in Amsterdam with my partner and my cat, Torvï. Years of having my own cats of all different personalities, experiencing all of their different quirks, and looking after all of my friends’ kitties when they are on holiday means that I’ve seen lots of our furry friends and love to hang out with them and keep them company! My own cat requires a lot of attention and is not really a 'lap cat', so I know how to read the body language of a cat, and will only give them strokes if they are comfortable with it (and me!). My job is to look after them well, give them kind and patient care (whether it's having a chat with them, cuddles, or having a fun playtime) and making sure their parent(s) are kept in the loop if they want photos and updates! I take good care of your home and pet during my visits, making sure everything is looking good and precautions are taken care of. I'm happy to water plants and take in your mail while you are away, and make sure your furry friends are of course happy and safe.

Great experience with Poppy. Took great care of Rafa and Margot, taking the time to engage with both of them, getting them comfortable in her company and both playing and running around. Communication was easy and efficient, making organisation simple. Asked great questions about the cats on intro, which is a comfort and instantly builds trust for the upcoming visits. Would recommend Poppy for anyone, and will book her again when needed!!
Poppy is an amazing pet sitter! She has been taking care of my cat, Ravioli, since he was a tiny kitten. She is incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely cares for the animals she looks after. I always have complete peace of mind knowing Ravioli is in her care. I would highly recommend Poppy to anyone looking for a caring and dependable person to look after their cat.

Schedule
I'm a freelance designer so my schedule is quite flexible and has both busier and quieter periods, so I am able to work into a routine where I visit your furry friends in the morning and/ or evening while you are away. I mostly set my own time schedule work-wise, so just let me know your preferences for cat care and I will make sure they are taken care of.
