Over: I've been around dogs my whole life. My family's first was a Jack Russell Terrier, followed by a Bichon, and my sister has two Bichons of her own. Dogs have always been part of my day to day, so I'm completely at ease minding them and making sure they feel safe and well cared for. This year, my partner and I adopted Nori, a lil Iggy. Raising him from a pup has sharpened my hands-on ownership skills. Everything from house-training to managing his wild personality. He's energetic, and always up for making a new friend, so if your dog enjoys company, he'll make a good pal. Italian Greyhounds are renowned for being clingy so I'm well used to giving a dog my full attention throughout the day. I work from home full-time, which means your pet won't be left alone for long stretches. If they need someone around consistently I think I’d be a good fit Pet care fits naturally into my day since I work from home full-time. Mornings start with a walk, often down to Sarphatipark, followed by regular breaks throughout the day for toilet, play, and outdoor time. Evenings bring a longer walk. Your dog won't be left alone for long stretches; consistent attention is just part of how my days already run. I follow each dog's normal routine - feeding, walks, meds, wherever we are. At home, they join Nori and me around the flat. Never left alone for long. I also live with my partner Abbie who's just a trustworthy and similar lover of dogs so there will always be 4 eyes on your pet :)
“We waren best gespannen om ons hondje Blizzard voor het eerst bij een onbekende achter te laten, maar vanaf het eerste contact met Shaima hadden we meteen een goed gevoel. Ze was ontzettend warm en liefdevol, en haar ervaring met honden straalde er vanaf. Dat stelde ons enorm gerust. Tijdens het verblijf hield Shaima ons dagelijks op de hoogte met lieve berichtjes, updates en leuke foto’s. Ze nam echt de tijd om ons mee te nemen in hoe het met Blizzard ging, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. Ze stelde gerust vragen wanneer dat nodig was, wat haar zorgzaamheid en betrokkenheid alleen maar bevestigde. Wat we ook enorm waardeerden: Shaima merkte dat Blizzard soms wat vaker naar buiten moest omdat hij het niet altijd even goed kon ophouden. Ze heeft zich daar meteen op aangepast en is meerdere keren korte wandelmomentjes met hem gegaan. Zo lief, ze keek echt naar wat hij nodig had. En het allerbelangrijkste: Blizzard had het zó naar zijn zin, dat we bij het ophalen bijna het gevoel kregen dat hij liever nog even bij Shaima bleef. Op de foto’s en video’s zagen we ook hoe blij en ontspannen hij was, en hoe liefdevol zij met hem omging. Wij komen zéker terug bij Shaima. Het was voor ons (en voor Blizzard!) echt een ontzettend fijne en warme ervaring. We raden haar met alle vertrouwen aan!”

Ik ben opgegroeid met katten, een hond dat uit een asiel is geadopteerd (labrador x stabij) en daarna een border collie x australian shepherd. Zelf heb ik ook kort voor een rescue gezorgd, helaas is deze niet meer bij mij. Ik zou daarom graag weer vaker op honden passen. Wandelen en hardlopen doe ik in m'n vrije tijd al best veel of graag, maar liever samen met een hond (hardlopen met de hond zou in overleg zijn / afhankelijk van of de hond daar behoefte aan heeft). Ik vind het ook heel leuk om te helpen met het trainen, te begeleiden bij hersenwerkjes/puzzels etc. Ik plan graag een kennismaking met jou en je hond(en) in om alles te bespreken. Een proef dag, middag, of overnachting is ook altijd mogelijk. Ik heb tevens (niet in die zin gekwalificeerd of professioneel, maar wel persoonlijke) ervaring met de wat ‘lastigere’ honden en deze zijn in principe en vooral in overleg ook welkom. Het aannemen van meerdere honden van verschillende baasjes gedurende dezelfde periode zal altijd in overleg zijn en ik heb zelf ook de voorkeur om de honden vooraf met elkaar kennis te laten maken. Hi, my name is Hanna! Living in the east of Amsterdam, near Amstelstation (so easy to reach by both public transport and car + there’s an elevator available in the building). I grew up with cats and dogs, and also have looked after a rescue dog for a while who sadly is not with me anymore. I'm excited to look after dogs again more often. I also really enjoy teaching dogs new things or guiding them with puzzles, brainwork etc. I’m looking forward to plan a meet and greet with you and your dog(s) to discuss whatever is necessary. A trial day or night is also always possible. I also have some experience (not in that sense qualified or professional, but personal experience) with behaviourally challenged dogs, which are also welcome but that obviously would require a discussion to see how and what the dog needs / to what extent. Accepting multiple dogs from different owners during the same period will only happen in discussion with the owners and will require a meeting between the dogs beforehand. I’m currently in the process of making this my full time job, so I’m home pretty much full time (besides for groceries and an occasional appointment obviously). So if you have a dog that needs a bit more active supervision or can’t stay alone yet or for not that long, I basically have all the time and presence your pet needs. I live in an apartment that’s decently sound-proof. There’s an elevator present in the building. I have 2 crates set up and also a fence throughout my place, so if needed I can keep the dogs separated when I have multiple dogs. At the moment the max I can keep at once would be 3, but that does take some extra consideration if they do go together if it’s the case they are dogs from different owners. Having 2 together would be more common than 3. Doors of the crates are generally open during the day, so if your dog isn’t crate trained (yet), that’s fine. Sadly I don’t have a garden, but I do have time, so I also like to just be outside with your dog as if we’re hanging out in a garden (I have multiple long leashes as well, so they can also do then do their thing in a safe manner if it’s not in a fenced area).
Over: Vanaf jongs af aan opgegroeid met honden. helaas nu ik op mezelf woon moet ik het hebben van oppas hondjes. omdat ik zelf in een appartement woon. Ik hou ervan om met de hond opstap te gaan en buiten te zijn, maar ook binnenhuis komen hondjes geen aandacht te kort. Momenteel ben ik zelf wat minder gaan werken, dus heb ik alle tijd om door te brengen met een hondje. Ik vind het fijn mocht het hondje het ook leuk vinden om naar het park te gaan. Verder is het ook geen probleem voor mij om veel tussentijdse rondjes met een hondje te lopen. Zelf woon ik in een appartement dus ik zal er iets vaker met het hondje op uit gaan omdat ik geen tuin heb. Wel zal het hondje in staat moeten zijn om twee trappen op te moeten kunnen. Of als het een wat kleiner hondje is kan ik ook tillen.

Over: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family had three dogs over the years, and I looked after each one from puppy all the way to senior age, including all the extra care and patience that comes with an older dog. Most recently, I took care of a dog that needed daily medicine and treatment for a ripped paw pad, so I'm comfortable with health routines too, not just walks. I've also worked as a dog walker and sitter, and whether it's your dog or my own, I treat them all the same way: like family. As a freelancer, I mostly work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility during the day. That means I can fit in walks, feedings, or check-ins at times that actually work for your schedule, not just early mornings or evenings. It also means I'm not rushing between appointments, so your dog or cat gets my full attention while I'm there. When pets stay with me, they have plenty of room to settle in. My apartment has a big, spacious living room and kitchen area, and I usually set up a cozy corner just for them so they always have a safe spot to retreat to, while still being free to roam and explore the rest of the apartment. I let them explore at their own pace and approach me when they're ready, rather than the other way around. I might try to make contact with a treat here and there, but I never force it if they're not comfortable yet. For walks, I'm lucky to live close to three parks, so there's always a good spot nearby to stretch their legs.
“Sky is voor het eerst van zijn hele leven uit logeren geweest. Ik vond het heel spannend, maar werden goed begeleid. Ik kreeg elke dag een appje met foto’s en hoe het ging. Sky heeft zich heerlijk vermaakt, ook sky was gewoon op vakantie. Hij was heel relaxed en Cristina en haar man waren heel lief voor sky, hij komt heel graag terug! Over: I was born on World Animals Day, so maybe that’s part of why I’m so crazy about animals. But it’s also because I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs. My family has had several generations of Dutch Shepherds and Belgian Malinois, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, a Jack Russell, and last year I adopted my own dog, Raya, in Mexico. Raya is still in Mexico, and until I bring her over here, I have time to lovingly care for other four legged friends. I’ve taught Raya a lot myself (and helped her unlearn a few things), and recently got my brother’s 7 year old Belgian Malinois to stop pulling on the leash too. My family and friends always call me the dog whisperer, and I love being surrounded by dogs, as long as they’re well behaved, of course. I also spent two years volunteering weekly at a dog shelter in Mexico: cleaning kennels, refreshing water and food, and lots of cuddling. Your pet is welcome at my place, as long as they’re house trained. I can also come to you, whatever works best. I live close to Vondelpark and also across from a small park. My days are flexible and everything’s up for discussion :) Ik werk voor mezelf en meestal vanuit huis. Als jouw beestje bij mij overnacht dan is het eerste wat ik doe in de ochtend met haar/hem naar buiten voor een lange wandeling + spelen van in ieder geval 45 minuten tot een uur. Dan ga ik aan het werk of sporten en ik laat nog een keer uit rond begin van de middag en nog een lange wandeling aan het einde van de middag. Ook voor het slapen gaan nog altijd even naar buiten. Soms heb ik een afspraak buiten de deur waardoor ik soms 1-3 uur weg kan zijn, maar nooit langer. Zoals gezegd in mijn profiel is mijn hond er nu niet en ik weet niet of ik dezelfde service aan zou bieden als mijn hondje er is. Ze moet erg wennen eerst aan Nederland en de drukte. Dus mijn huis is leeg en ik prefereer alleen 1 hond bij mij thuis zodat hij/zij de volle aandacht krijgt, tenzij je 2 honden hebt waar ik op pas en ze zijn gewend aan elkaar. Ik heb een balkon en tuin, maar de tuin is gedeeld met airbnb gasten dus voor buiten laat ik meestal de balkondeur open en afgesloten naar de tuin.

Over: Al toen ik heel klein was hadden mijn ouders 2 katten, TC en Soxy. Twee prachtige zwarte katten, maar beide met een handleiding. Na jaren te hebben kunnen genieten van deze 2 lieve beestjes en zij beide niet meer met ons waren ging mijn gezin over naar honden omdat wij verhuisden en een grote tuin kregen. Nog steeds gaat mijn hart uit naar alle dieren, ook al heb ik nu zelf een hondje. Al 10 jaar volg ik een vegan levensstijl en is mijn toekomstdroom het openen van een sanctuary waar allerlei soorten (oude) dieren de rest van hun leven kunnen verblijven. Ik ben geduldig, liefdevol en respectvol en kom graag voor jouw kat zorgen. Mijn eigen hond Simba zijn beste vriendin is de kat van mijn zus. Nieuwe katten vindt Simba erg spannend, alleen met een rustige introductie van meerdere keren kan Simba wennen aan een kat in huis (wij hebben vaker katten over de vloer gehad). Het liefst kom ik bij jullie thuis zorgen voor jouw kat(ten) zodat ze ook niet hoeven te wennen aan een nieuwe omgeving. Ik kijk uit naar je berichtje en hopelijk tot snel!

Verder is het ook geen probleem voor mij om veel tussentijdse rondjes met een hondje te lopen. Zelf woon ik in een appartement dus ik zal er iets vaker met het hondje op uit gaan omdat ik geen tuin heb. Wel zal het hondje in staat moeten zijn om twee trappen op te moeten kunnen. Of als het een wat kleiner hondje is kan ik ook tillen.

Over: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family had three dogs over the years, and I looked after each one from puppy all the way to senior age, including all the extra care and patience that comes with an older dog. Most recently, I took care of a dog that needed daily medicine and treatment for a ripped paw pad, so I'm comfortable with health routines too, not just walks. I've also worked as a dog walker and sitter, and whether it's your dog or my own, I treat them all the same way: like family. As a freelancer, I mostly work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility during the day. That means I can fit in walks, feedings, or check-ins at times that actually work for your schedule, not just early mornings or evenings. It also means I'm not rushing between appointments, so your dog or cat gets my full attention while I'm there. When pets stay with me, they have plenty of room to settle in. My apartment has a big, spacious living room and kitchen area, and I usually set up a cozy corner just for them so they always have a safe spot to retreat to, while still being free to roam and explore the rest of the apartment. I let them explore at their own pace and approach me when they're ready, rather than the other way around. I might try to make contact with a treat here and there, but I never force it if they're not comfortable yet. Wel woon ik aan het park en heb ik een auto om naar het Amsterdamse bos te gaan bijvoorbeeld! Een beetje wandelen, skateboarden of fietsen met de honden doe ik met plezier en dat probeer ik over te brengen op de honden. Ik heb eerlijk gezegd niet enorm veel ervaring met veel verschillende honden. Ik heb wel een aantal keer op verschillende honden van vrienden opgepast. Dus als je een hond met gedragsproblematiek hebt, dan ben je bij mij waarschijnlijk niet aan het juiste adres. Overnachtingen of een hele dag met uw hond doe ik liever ook pas nadat ik hem een keer heb uitgelaten en als we beide weten dat het tussen ons klikt!:) Daarnaast heb ik geen bench dus die zou je zelf moeten brengen bij een overnachting. Ik hoor graag van je als je me toevertrouwd met je trouwe viervoeter!:) ----- I am Niels and I just like dogs ;) I do this as a side job for fun. I enjoy walking, skateboarding, or cycling with the dogs, and I try to convey that to them. To be honest, I don't have a huge amount of experience with many different dogs. I have looked after various dogs belonging to friends I've looked after a few times, though. If you have a dog with behavioral issues, its probably not a good fit. I also prefer to only do full-day overnight stays with your dog after I've taken him out for a walk once and when we both know we click! :) On top of this i don't have my own bench, so that would be something which you should bring with you in case of a sleepover. “We waren best gespannen om ons hondje Blizzard voor het eerst bij een onbekende achter te laten, maar vanaf het eerste contact met Shaima hadden we meteen een goed gevoel. Ze was ontzettend warm en liefdevol, en haar ervaring met honden straalde er vanaf. Dat stelde ons enorm gerust. Tijdens het verblijf hield Shaima ons dagelijks op de hoogte met lieve berichtjes, updates en leuke foto’s. Ze nam echt de tijd om ons mee te nemen in hoe het met Blizzard ging, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. Ze stelde gerust vragen wanneer dat nodig was, wat haar zorgzaamheid en betrokkenheid alleen maar bevestigde. Wat we ook enorm waardeerden: Shaima merkte dat Blizzard soms wat vaker naar buiten moest omdat hij het niet altijd even goed kon ophouden. Ze heeft zich daar meteen op aangepast en is meerdere keren korte wandelmomentjes met hem gegaan. Zo lief, ze keek echt naar wat hij nodig had. En het allerbelangrijkste: Blizzard had het zó naar zijn zin, dat we bij het ophalen bijna het gevoel kregen dat hij liever nog even bij Shaima bleef. Op de foto’s en video’s zagen we ook hoe blij en ontspannen hij was, en hoe liefdevol zij met hem omging. Wij komen zéker terug bij Shaima. Het was voor ons (en voor Blizzard!) echt een ontzettend fijne en warme ervaring. We raden haar met alle vertrouwen aan!”

Over: [english below] Hoi, ik ben Hanna! Wonend in Amsterdam Oost, vlakbij Amstelstation (goed bereikbaar met zowel OV als ook auto + lift aanwezig in het gebouw). Ik ben opgegroeid met katten, een hond dat uit een asiel is geadopteerd (labrador x stabij) en daarna een border collie x australian shepherd. Zelf heb ik ook kort voor een rescue gezorgd, helaas is deze niet meer bij mij. Ik zou daarom graag weer vaker op honden passen. Wandelen en hardlopen doe ik in m'n vrije tijd al best veel of graag, maar liever samen met een hond (hardlopen met de hond zou in overleg zijn / afhankelijk van of de hond daar behoefte aan heeft). Ik vind het ook heel leuk om te helpen met het trainen, te begeleiden bij hersenwerkjes/puzzels etc. Ik plan graag een kennismaking met jou en je hond(en) in om alles te bespreken. Een proef dag, middag, of overnachting is ook altijd mogelijk. Ik heb tevens (niet in die zin gekwalificeerd of professioneel, maar wel persoonlijke) ervaring met de wat ‘lastigere’ honden en deze zijn in principe en vooral in overleg ook welkom. Het aannemen van meerdere honden van verschillende baasjes gedurende dezelfde periode zal altijd in overleg zijn en ik heb zelf ook de voorkeur om de honden vooraf met elkaar kennis te laten maken. Hi, my name is Hanna! Living in the east of Amsterdam, near Amstelstation (so easy to reach by both public transport and car + there’s an elevator available in the building). I grew up with cats and dogs, and also have looked after a rescue dog for a while who sadly is not with me anymore. I'm excited to look after dogs again more often. I also really enjoy teaching dogs new things or guiding them with puzzles, brainwork etc. I’m looking forward to plan a meet and greet with you and your dog(s) to discuss whatever is necessary. A trial day or night is also always possible. I also have some experience (not in that sense qualified or professional, but personal experience) with behaviourally challenged dogs, which are also welcome but that obviously would require a discussion to see how and what the dog needs / to what extent. Accepting multiple dogs from different owners during the same period will only happen in discussion with the owners and will require a meeting between the dogs beforehand. I’m currently in the process of making this my full time job, so I’m home pretty much full time (besides for groceries and an occasional appointment obviously). So if you have a dog that needs a bit more active supervision or can’t stay alone yet or for not that long, I basically have all the time and presence your pet needs. I live in an apartment that’s decently sound-proof. There’s an elevator present in the building. I have 2 crates set up and also a fence throughout my place, so if needed I can keep the dogs separated when I have multiple dogs. At the moment the max I can keep at once would be 3, but that does take some extra consideration if they do go together if it’s the case they are dogs from different owners. Having 2 together would be more common than 3. Doors of the crates are generally open during the day, so if your dog isn’t crate trained (yet), that’s fine. Sadly I don’t have a garden, but I do have time, so I also like to just be outside with your dog as if we’re hanging out in a garden (I have multiple long leashes as well, so they can also do then do their thing in a safe manner if it’s not in a fenced area).

Over: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family had three dogs over the years, and I looked after each one from puppy all the way to senior age, including all the extra care and patience that comes with an older dog. Most recently, I took care of a dog that needed daily medicine and treatment for a ripped paw pad, so I'm comfortable with health routines too, not just walks. I've also worked as a dog walker and sitter, and whether it's your dog or my own, I treat them all the same way: like family. As a freelancer, I mostly work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility during the day. That means I can fit in walks, feedings, or check-ins at times that actually work for your schedule, not just early mornings or evenings. It also means I'm not rushing between appointments, so your dog or cat gets my full attention while I'm there. When pets stay with me, they have plenty of room to settle in. My apartment has a big, spacious living room and kitchen area, and I usually set up a cozy corner just for them so they always have a safe spot to retreat to, while still being free to roam and explore the rest of the apartment. I let them explore at their own pace and approach me when they're ready, rather than the other way around. I might try to make contact with a treat here and there, but I never force it if they're not comfortable yet. For walks, I'm lucky to live close to three parks, so there's always a good spot nearby to stretch their legs.
“Sky is voor het eerst van zijn hele leven uit logeren geweest. Ik vond het heel spannend, maar werden goed begeleid. Ik kreeg elke dag een appje met foto’s en hoe het ging. Sky heeft zich heerlijk vermaakt, ook sky was gewoon op vakantie. Hij was heel relaxed en Cristina en haar man waren heel lief voor sky, hij komt heel graag terug! I have a dog in Italy named Clara, who is still a very important part of my family. I’ve been living in Amsterdam with my partner Giulia for the past four years, and we both work from home from Monday to Friday. We truly miss having dogs around the house, which is why we’re happy to share our time, care, and attention with other people’s dogs. We can offer constant supervision, regular walks, plenty of cuddles, and lots of love, always adapting to each dog’s routine and needs. Over: I was born on World Animals Day, so maybe that’s part of why I’m so crazy about animals. But it’s also because I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs. My family has had several generations of Dutch Shepherds and Belgian Malinois, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, a Jack Russell, and last year I adopted my own dog, Raya, in Mexico. Raya is still in Mexico, and until I bring her over here, I have time to lovingly care for other four legged friends. I’ve taught Raya a lot myself (and helped her unlearn a few things), and recently got my brother’s 7 year old Belgian Malinois to stop pulling on the leash too. My family and friends always call me the dog whisperer, and I love being surrounded by dogs, as long as they’re well behaved, of course. I also spent two years volunteering weekly at a dog shelter in Mexico: cleaning kennels, refreshing water and food, and lots of cuddling. Your pet is welcome at my place, as long as they’re house trained. I can also come to you, whatever works best. I live close to Vondelpark and also across from a small park. My days are flexible and everything’s up for discussion :) Ik werk voor mezelf en meestal vanuit huis. Als jouw beestje bij mij overnacht dan is het eerste wat ik doe in de ochtend met haar/hem naar buiten voor een lange wandeling + spelen van in ieder geval 45 minuten tot een uur. Dan ga ik aan het werk of sporten en ik laat nog een keer uit rond begin van de middag en nog een lange wandeling aan het einde van de middag. Ook voor het slapen gaan nog altijd even naar buiten. Soms heb ik een afspraak buiten de deur waardoor ik soms 1-3 uur weg kan zijn, maar nooit langer. Zoals gezegd in mijn profiel is mijn hond er nu niet en ik weet niet of ik dezelfde service aan zou bieden als mijn hondje er is. Ze moet erg wennen eerst aan Nederland en de drukte. Dus mijn huis is leeg en ik prefereer alleen 1 hond bij mij thuis zodat hij/zij de volle aandacht krijgt, tenzij je 2 honden hebt waar ik op pas en ze zijn gewend aan elkaar. Ik heb een balkon en tuin, maar de tuin is gedeeld met airbnb gasten dus voor buiten laat ik meestal de balkondeur open en afgesloten naar de tuin.

Omdat ik flexibel kan omgaan met waar ik werk, kan ik goed rekening houden met verschillende opvangmomenten. Ik vind het belangrijk om vooraf even kennis te maken met jou en je hond, zodat we kunnen kijken of er een goede klik is. Ik leer graag kennen wat jouw hond fijn vindt, waar hij/zij behoefte aan heeft en waar ik rekening mee moet houden. I walk a lot, in the morning, afternoon and evening. I have an apartment without garden but I often go to the park when i have to dog sit, I love being outside so that’s a good thing for your pet :)

Over: I’ve had dogs since I was young and have years of hands-on experience caring for them. I currently have a 30 kg Goldendoodle, Willow, whom I’ve spent the past two years intensively training as my service dog. Through this, I’ve gained lots of experience with obedience, consistency, positive reinforcement, routines, and understanding dog behavior. I’m also very comfortable with larger, energetic dogs and providing plenty of exercise, structure, and, of course, cuddles! 🐾 I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and am around throughout most of the day. Dogs in my care get plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles. I normally take Willow on three longer walks and two shorter walks each day, so your dog can easily join our routine. I’m also happy to adjust my schedule to your dog’s usual walking, feeding, and sleeping routine so they feel as comfortable and at home as possible. 🐾 Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always make sure any dog staying with us feels comfortable around her. Since I work from home, dogs are rarely left alone and get plenty of supervision and attention throughout the day. Dogs are treated like part of the family in our home, they’re welcome on the furniture (clean paws permitting!) and can sleep in my bedroom. I follow each owner’s routines and rules closely and will always take the time to help your dog feel safe, relaxed, and at home. And obviously will send pictures throughout the day of your pup; as a dog owner, that’s what I’d want as well!
