I grew up with three wonderful dogs of various sizes, and as an adult I’ve had a large dog of my own, two small dogs, and a cat. One of my pups was adopted from a shelter, two came to me from foster parents, and my cat was a stray who chose our home — so I’m very comfortable with pets who have unique personalities, histories, or special needs.
