“Ellen was the PERFECT pet sitter. I am from the South and was visiting Columbus to watch my son play Baseball. My concern was my 2 Doxies while at the games each day. Ellen picked them up, spent quality time with them so they were not stressed in my absence and dropped them back off to me each day. This allowed all the time we needed to make the trip here just perfect. My pups were happy to see her each day which also indicates how amazing she is with them. I HIGHLY recommend her and if and when I’m back in town, I hope she will still be available. This is my 1st time using Rover and I must say, Ellen you set the bar sky high for all other sitters. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Alyssa A.
“Alyssa did an exceptional job caring for our two dogs while we were away on vacation. She updated us with photos of our dogs and gave them many walks (which they enjoy). When we returned home from our vacation they did not want to leave Alyssa'a. We plan to take another vacation soon now that we found Alyssa and can leave them knowing they also are having a wonderful time. We would and have recommended Alyssa to our friends and family. She's a gem and we're so glad we found her!!!”

Kristine & Paula D.
“Kristine helped care for my dog while I was recovering from a knee replacement. She cares deeply for animals, and ensures they enjoy their time with her. My dog loves her, and gets really excited whenever we see her. When I needed her help, I trusted Kristine to give my dog the best care possible, and she certainly did.”

About: Providing love and care when you're not there! I am a highly experienced pet sitter with over 10 years of experience. Growing up with my grandma, who was a strong advocate for animal shelters, we adopted over 15 pets during my childhood. This upbringing instilled in me a deep love and understanding for animals. I am well-equipped to provide excellent care for dogs and cats. My experience includes rescuing and fostering dogs from shelters, which has given me the ability to care for newborn puppies and kittens. I am skilled in tasks such as syringe feeding and bottle feeding. I have comprehensive knowledge on how to care for pets at all stages of life. Furthermore, I am experienced in bathing and feeding pets with various diets, including wet food, dry biscuits/kibble, raw food, and home-cooked meals. I am attentive to their needs and can provide the necessary care they require. As a pet sitter, my clients can have peace of mind knowing that their furry friends are in good hands. I always prioritize the safety and well-being of your pets, ensuring they receive the love, attention, and care they deserve. I work full-time in a cubicle job, and pet sitting is my way to decompress after a day in the office or working from home. I am available in the late afternoon and evening, and I am highly flexible on weekends and holidays. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask As a homeowner, I have a fully fenced and safe backyard where your pet can play and explore. There is always a bowl of water available to keep them hydrated while enjoying their time outdoors. In addition, I have a friendly and welcoming pet of my own named Miumiu, who would be more than happy to have friends over. If your fur baby requires a crate during their stay, that is not a problem. Please note that currently, I am only offering home sitting services for dogs." Please let me know if you need any further assistance!

Cailey P.
About: My name is Cailey and I am a third grade teacher in Columbus! Caring for animals has always been a strong passion of mine and Rover is the perfect place for me to have that opportunity. Prior to being a teacher, I had an internship at a Veterinary clinic where I assisted the Veterinarian. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters where I’ve walked dogs and spent time with them. I’d love to make your dog’s day better whether that is taking them for a good walk or spending quality time with them while you are away! My weekdays are busy. I would be available anytime after 5:00 pm. My weekends are usually completely open so I can be more flexible on Saturday’s and Sunday’s. My apartment has a total of three dog parks. These are kept very clean and are completely fenced in. If your dog boards with me, they will be able to be in whatever room makes them feel most comfortable/on furniture. I’ll also utilize the dog park to play fetch if that is something your dog enjoys!

About: I have been around dogs my whole life, we had 3 growing up and I currently have a 5 year old rescue! He is very outgoing and energetic so I am very experienced handling high energy dogs, as well as low energy dogs! I currently work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays. I have scheduled walks around 9AM and 12PM, as well play time during the day. I don't have to be super focused the whole time so I have plenty of time to give your dog attention throughout the day! I live in a second floor apartment in the Short North. I have two doors blocking off my apartment from being outside. I always put my dog on a leash and will put yours on before opening the front doors. I typically take the same route for walks daily, I live near a park so it's super convenient for potty breaks and walks.

Meghan K.
“Meghan has watched my dog for me multiple times. I always trust that I can leave him (my best friend) in her care and not only will he be well attended to, he will get great exercise and have a lot of fun, too. Meghan is very active and likes to visit parks, go for walks, and hike. Plus she knows the city like the back of her hand, which is great for walking in different neighborhood or just mixing it up. I trust her to take my dog out and it's a relief that I don't have to be worried about his safety or well being -- I know she's looking out for him. I think Meghan is well suited for dog walking/dog sitting because she has had her own dog for more than 10 years and knows all the care and attention that goes into owning an active pup. I don't think Meghan has ever met an animal she doesn't like!”

Hannah S.
“Hannah has always been an animal lover. Our family has had multiple dogs throughout the years and Hannah has always been focused on their care and making sure they are healthy and active. She is responsible for following their proper diet and activity schedules as well as any medication or health related needs as well. She is trustworthy and responsible. She loves dogs and is calm and caring with them.”

Carter G.

“Carter was great at accommodating our request last minute! Attentive to our pups needs. And took lots of photos, helped him warm up to the other pups confidently! Would definitely use his services again!”

Thomas M.

“Thomas did a great job with Moses! He was well taken care of and completely worn out when he came home. Thomas also was able to watch Moses at only a short days notice when I was asked to work the following day. Very grateful for his willingness to help me out!”

Katie S.

“Katie came through for me in a pinch and I couldn’t be happier with how well she’s taken care of Lemon! And Lemon loves her time with Katie and her pups. Would definitely book again!”

Lisa M.
“Lisa is by far my first choice when I need a dog sitter/walker. My dog, Bailey, gets so excited to see her she she cant contain herself. I have used Lisa's services on several occasions; walks, check ins, feedings, even overnights. She has always kept the house neat and tidy and stayed in communication with me. She sends pictures of their snuggles and adventures, so I know she is well taken care of. Above all, Lisa is trustworthy, and she loves Bailey, as much as Bailey loves her. I would be happy to provide personal references upon request.”

Emily M.

“Emily was great! She accepted a very last second sitting notice, and for which, I am very grateful. She sent photos and noted all of my puppy’s duties for the day. Very pleased with emily and she also has a nice place and grass area/space worth noting! Would recommend to anyone!”

Paige H.

“Kenzie had a great time with Paige. I appreciate her taking such great care of her, especially since it was last minute and we were visiting under an emergency situation from out of town. Kenzie was happy and tired when she got back home!?”

Michael K.
“I’ve known Michael since he was a little boy. He always wanted to help the underdog. Whether that was a human, or really a dog, cat or any other creature that needed help or comfort. He has taken care of our fur babies for many years if we are out of town or need help. He gives meds, insulin shots to my diabetic cat, long walks and unending belly rubs. I can’t think of anyone I would trust as much with these precious members of my family.”
