“Very last minute had availability for us and overall great experience! Great and fast communication and updates with pictures. Will definitely book again ❤️”

“This was my first time ever having a dog sitter and Michelle made it such an easy and great experience. Michelle provided lots of pictures and videos and made sure my Aussie got plenty of attention and exercise. I highly recommend Michelle and would definitely leave my dog with her again.”

“Dexter enjoyed his time with Sydney and her beagle. He showed no hesitancy when I dropped him off each morning, so I know he was treated well. I enjoyed Sydney's messages and pictures to me of Dexter.”

“Our puppy loved Patricia! She is very reliable and trustworthy. She took the time to teach our puppy how to sit, worked on walking on a leash, took out our trash, and even brought her own broom to sweep up any mulch the puppy may have brought in. We finally feel like we found a great petsitter for Honey and will be booking with her again!”

“Ginny always has a great time at Sean’s house. He’s very attentive and has plenty of very good dog friends for Ginny to hang out with. Nice big yard for her to run around in when the weather is nice. Well definitely book with Sean again.”

“I was so pleased with the services provided by Amber while watching my little one. She interacted with her wonderfully and gave her lots and lots of attention. Amber kept me updated with pictures and messages and I feel truly comfortable with leaving my dog with her, and I look forward to the next opportunity.”

“Elizabeth was great with Benji, she took pictures, and he came home tired and loved. He really enjoyed his time with Elizabeth and Mary Jane, we can’t wait to come back!”

About: I previously owned a dog walking and pet-sitting business for over four years, and I absolutely loved it! I walked dogs that ranged from 1-16 years of age, and administered oral medication and provided insulin to diabetic dogs. I have also fostered dogs four separate times, ages ranging from 1-6 years. I have 4 years of exotic animal care experience as well! I work from home full time on a very flexible schedule. I can move my daily plans around to fit your needs, and will update my availability to include changes ASAP. There is one other dog and two friendly cats in the home. My partner is experienced in animal husbandry and loves pets just as much as me. We are sure to give them plenty of love, patience, and attention! I can take furry friends on extra walks if requested, and I can send you pictures throughout your pets' stay!

“Megan always takes such good care of our pup. She gets so excited to go over to Megan’s house, get lots of love, and play with the other dogs. Thanks so much, Megan!!”

“Simon was great! My baby had so much fun with him. He replied super quickly and agreed to take care of her on short notice. He also sent pictures, which was a huge relief for me and gave me peace of mind knowing she was happy. When I went to pick her up, she didn’t even want to leave! On the second day of daycare, she jumped out of the car and didn’t even look back. I’ll definitely book with him again!”
About: I’ve been pet sitting since 2015, but I’ve had pets all my life. I truly treat every animal like family. Caring for my pitbull for 13 years and my cat for 8 years, immediately after that, I understand deep, loyal love. What sets me apart is my calm, intuitive energy. Pets feel safe, seen, and comforted in my care. I’m currently in the slow season with my company and have lots of time to dedicate to taking care of your fur babies. I have 2-4 hours of time I may have to work a day but the rest is becoming besties with your bestie. ☺️ I have a fenced in yard and no existing pets. Your fur baby will feel nice and safe like they are on vacation too with lots of love and attention.

About: Being a senior makes me old school, like being exactly on time or a bit early. I subscribe to the Dog Whisperer tenet of being ALPHA and pack leader to dogs in my care. A dog in a pack is a happy dog. I only use positive reinforcement. Ex.: dog pulling on the leash can be fixed by changing directions every 4 steps to the left, walking in a square, this encourages the dog to slow down and watch his human. Dog hair is a welcome addition to a life well lived, that's why my dogs get furniture and bed privileges. One fact about my dogs i pay attention to is how many sips of water they take. On a very hot day I've seen 30-40. This helps me know easily how my pet is feeling so I can react accordingly. Maybe time to put the soft Frisbee away! I'm fully retired, and rise early, so morning walks are easy. Breakfast is next, and 1hr later another walk outside. I like to prep a bag to take to the park. My fav is Schiller Park in German Village. I don't own a pet currently, I've had some health issues that are now resolved. Having been an owner twice in my life has given me many many experiences so I am flexible.
About: I have extensive experience in geriatric and special needs care. I've given injections, medicine, eye drops, ect. and I'm not afraid to learn more special care for your pet! I'm currently working from home and am able to care for your pet most of the day. We don't travel much and like doing house work/projects so we are home most of the time. We have a fenced in backyard for your dog to run, play, and potty. We have an assortment of dog rope toys and tennis balls, a variety of treat types, a large dog bed, and an XL dog crate if needed.
“Travis is great with our dog Scarlett! She has so much fun with him and his pup Ginger. He makes a comfortable environment for her and she able to relax despite her relatively high anxiety levels. Would highly recommend him to anyone needing someone to care for their dog.”

“Clayton took our two goldens on really late notice. He was a quick communicator and kept us in the loop on how the dogs were doing while they were at his house. Our dogs came home happy and tired. We would definitely use him again in the future!”

The median cost per day for doggy day care in South Alum Creek is $32
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - South Alum Creek
Karla is hands-down the best dog sitter I’ve ever experienced. Her love for dogs is immediately clear in everything she does. She has a spacious backyard that gives the dogs plenty of room to run and play, and her home is always clean, well-kept, and welcoming. What I appreciate most is how she allows dogs be themselves while ensuring a safe, well-managed environment. She pays close attention to group dynamics, making sure all the dogs interact well and play safely. I felt completely at ease leaving Bruno in her care, and that peace of mind is priceless. I would book with Karla again and again without hesitation. Highly recommend!
