About: I have had several dogs and cats throughout my whole life, I even studied a little of Vet Tech care in college with grooming back in Puerto Rico, I am new in Columbus Ohio. I currently have 2 pets and I’ll treat yours just like mines 🫶🏻🥰 i guarantee your pet will have a safe, relaxing and loving space. 😊🩵im open to all pets I work Thursday to Saturday third shift but i have the rest of the week off which I’ve been spending home training and caring for my pets and why not help🫶🏻😊❤️ my work schedule is very flexible! I have a 1 bedroom apartment with a wide shared yard and a small dog park inside the complex. ❤️ I also have a XL crate in case, would love to show u around if u like ❤️

“Laila & Phil was great! I was provided with frequent updates and pictures while my pup attended daycare! It was so great to see pictures of him having fun and running around to ease my mind while at work. They were also very accommodating and easily worked around my everchanging work schedule, allowing me to adjust to my new job with peace of mind that my pupper was having fun and in good hands. I will be using their services again!!!☺️ Upon pick up my dog had a full belly, a wagging tail, and was ready to go home and relax. 10/10 experience????”

About: Being a senior makes me old school, like being exactly on time or a bit early. I subscribe to the Dog Whisperer tenet of being ALPHA and pack leader to dogs in my care. A dog in a pack is a happy dog. I only use positive reinforcement. Ex.: dog pulling on the leash can be fixed by changing directions every 4 steps to the left, walking in a square, this encourages the dog to slow down and watch his human. Dog hair is a welcome addition to a life well lived, that's why my dogs get furniture and bed privileges. One fact about my dogs i pay attention to is how many sips of water they take. On a very hot day I've seen 30-40. This helps me know easily how my pet is feeling so I can react accordingly. Maybe time to put the soft Frisbee away! I'm fully retired, and rise early, so morning walks are easy. Breakfast is next, and 1hr later another walk outside. I like to prep a bag to take to the park. My fav is Schiller Park in German Village. I don't own a pet currently, I've had some health issues that are now resolved. Having been an owner twice in my life has given me many many experiences so I am flexible.

“I booked day care for my daughter's dog Gunner for the entire day on 4/4. I met with Kathryn and Teddy a few days before leaving him at her house and felt good about the upcoming visit afterwards. Kathryn sent me multiple photos during the day which I truly appreciated. It was great to be able to leave him somewhere I felt would allow him to be less anxious as Kathryn let me bring his pet bed and pillow which he uses regularly at home. He also has multiple small feedings through the day which she gave him. The fenced in yard she has is huge! I'm grateful to have a place I can take Gunner where I will feel I can take care of any business at hand with no worries about leaving him.”

About: I am a dog mom, cat mom and a part time MBA student. My two cats are very well socialized with dogs, and my puppy Suki is absolutely obsessed with other dogs. We live in an apartment in downtown Columbus with plenty of space for a small dog guest. There are small grass patches in my apartment where I can take a dog to potty, they would need to be leashed the entire time. In my spare time, I like to spend time outside walking the scioto mile, and I like to paint. My current daily routine is flexible so I would be able to provide any care necessary. I used to have a senior dog that required a lot of TLC, and now I have a 4 pound puppy with a fast metabolism that also requires TLC for other reasons. suki is partially potty trained, but we do use indoor pads and a live grass patch. It’s OK if your dog is small and pad trained, I have plenty of cleaning supplies to take care of any accidents. I take safety very seriously for all pets. My cat takes a consistent medication every night at 9 PM and we haven’t missed it for the past four years. Also small dogs take a special amount of attention to keep safe.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since 2015, but I’ve had pets all my life. I truly treat every animal like family. Caring for my pitbull for 13 years and my cat for 8 years, immediately after that, I understand deep, loyal love. What sets me apart is my calm, intuitive energy. Pets feel safe, seen, and comforted in my care. I’m currently in the slow season with my company and have lots of time to dedicate to taking care of your fur babies. I have 2-4 hours of time I may have to work a day but the rest is becoming besties with your bestie. ☺️ I have a fenced in yard and no existing pets. Your fur baby will feel nice and safe like they are on vacation too with lots of love and attention.

About: From my experience growing up on a farm to caring for two dogs and a cat as a young professional, I've developed quite a bit of pet care knowledge and skills. I've cared for puppies and kittens and adult dogs and cat through good times and hard times. Over the years, I've learned a lot and I'm happy to use that experience to care for your's as well. My wife and I both work from home during the week so we have plenty of time for pet care. When our dog Frank was around, we would often go on walks with him and my daughter and visit local parks. Unfortunately, we don't have time to care for puppies or kittens at this stage in life but adult dogs and cats are welcome. We live in downtown Columbus in a single family home with a large fenced yard. We're surrounded by lots of sidewalks and live within walking distance to several parks. In our home, we have a large soft crate for dogs and small crates for cats, if needed. We expect all pets to be potty/house trained and dogs to sleep in a crate overnight. We don't allow dogs on furniture or in beds, but they're welcome throughout the home. Our cat, Cleo, roams the house but will often stay on the 2nd floor when new pet friends stay over. She has been great with new cats and dogs, often warming up to them after a day or two. We also have a 2.5 year old daughter who is home most of the week. She's great with cats and dogs and we expect any pets that stay with us to be comfortable with children.
