“Cindy has taken care of our dog a couple of times and did a fabulous job!! She was so attentive to her and took her for multiple walks. Thank you Cindy!!”

“Alec and Aishu, and their lovely dog Winnie, looked after my girl Nova beautifully. She can be a little skittish at first in unfamiliar situations, but she soon settled down and relaxed! She had an amazing time exploring, going for a long walk and playing with her new pal. I appreciated that photos were sent throughout the day.”

About: I have 8 years of experience taking care of cats and 4 years of experience looking after dogs. Since last year, I have started working as a pet sitter among my classmates on a small scale and received a lot of praise and encouragement. I love animals and I am willing to integrate taking care of them into my life. I grew up with cats and dogs since I was a child and have rich experience in taking care of pets. This year marks my fourth year of looking after pets on my own. I believe in treating animals with gentleness and encouragement. I walk my dog at least three times a day, usually four. I have a great personality and am very patient and energetic with pets of different temperaments. I hope to become good friends with every pet. I often groom pets and carefully observe their moods and conditions. I spend a lot of time playing with pets every day. I pay great attention to food safety and will ask about each pet's eating habits and allergies. Please trust me and choose me. I will surely satisfy you.
“Thomas took great care of my pup and he had a great time. Thomas sent plenty of updates and was very communicative and quick to respond. I could tell when I picked my dog up that he had not felt stressed or anxious, which is a huge relief.”

“Shanelle is amazing with Zoey. She is always extremely excited and happy to have a play date with Shanelle’s dog Ray. She keeps us updated with pic and communication is excellent.☺️”
“Katie came through for me in a pinch and I couldn’t be happier with how well she’s taken care of Lemon! And Lemon loves her time with Katie and her pups. Would definitely book again!”

About: I believe no specific dog breed is bad. Dog behaviors are shaped by their owners! I have a 5 year old blue-nose pitbull that is the sweetest boy who loves cuddles, play and go on walks. I trained him to do many tricks (sit, stand, spin, bow, stay, roll, etc) and taught him important commands like letting go of things (including food). Kai has so many allergies and I learned how impactful medical issues can be on both your pet and you. I understand how precious pets are to their parents and know how to make your pet feel at ease. I enjoy taking pictures so expect lots of updates of your fur baby! I'm currently in medical school, most of my classes are online aside from certain in-person sessions. I am usually at home and would love to have a fur baby around the house! I will take your dog on walks as requested per your dog's usual activity level. I do not have any pets in my apartment and will take one dog at a time. Your dog will most likely be roaming around the apartment freely, however, I would prefer dog crate at night to avoid accidentally chewing of furniture. P.S. please ensure that your dog had recently bathed and brushed before drop-off :)
“Mary was very accommodating on such short notice. I was informed by messages, pics and videos throughout day. Dogs were happy. Everything went real well. Glad there is a trusted pet lover that can lend a hand.”

About: Hi there! I’m Amy, a lifelong dog lover and dog mom to Riley, a sweet and sensitive 3 year old Mini Australian Shepherd. I’m from the DC area, lived in NYC and Philly after college, and moved to Columbus in fall of 2024 with my partner Jake. We live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath house on the border of Victorian Village and Harrison West. We both work from home and have a fenced backyard, so your dog will have plenty of space to explore and lots of attention throughout the day. Whether your pup is playful or prefers alone time, I’m here to make sure they feel safe and loved. One of the reasons I started doing Rover is because I wanted to find friends for Riley to spend time with during the day. He enjoys playing with dogs who are around his size (30lb) or smaller. I’m excited to meet your pup and would love to set up a meet-and-greet to learn all about their unique personality and needs. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I’m home the majority of the day, so I’m able to provide plenty of attention and potty breaks. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe and comfortable environment. I’m mindful of each dog’s personality and I follow their usual routines as closely as possible to help them feel at ease.
About: Hello! My name is Siri and I have been taking care of animals my whole life. I have lots of experience with cats, dogs, and even lizards! I grew up with large dogs (newfoundlands, to be exact) so they don't scare me away. I am very active so I am more than happy to run with your dog too if you'd prefer a more active walk for them! I raised my own dog from puppyhood and have personally crate trained her, potty trained her, and taught her 15+ tricks/commands. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and I am in the office from 8am - 5pm) Tues-Thurs. I usually take breaks during my work from home days to walk/play with the animals. I have a water carrier/bowl combo bottle for dogs if they get thirsty during their walk, and I also keep treats on me to work on any leash reactivity (using positive reinforcement training). My own dog gets walked four times a day. My cat has a water fountain and lots of toys. The litterboxes are cleaned daily and deep cleaned once a month. My cat is fed on a schedule (once in the morning and once in the evening) but I am happy to accomodate any feeding preferences for my clients pets.
“Jeff and Lynn took great care of Tucker! Communication was great and he came home safely after a great day of play! I definitely recommend them without hesitation as great caregivers.”

About: My intro to pet care started in my childhood, including an unexpected pregnancy of our family dog resulting in the birth of 13 puppies! 15 years into adulthood I adopted a dog and currently have a 2 y/o goldendoodle. I currently work from home with a flexible schedule. I get my own dog out for walks daily and a game of fetch as often as possible. Available for morning, lunchtime, and evening drop-ins, bringing your dog along with mine, or devoted individual attention. Can crate in my home or drop in to yours. Walks, parks, hikes, games of fetch, cuddles, and treats. My home includes extra attention from elementary and middle school aged kids.
“Taylor took great care of Nia! Nia can get anxious when meeting new people and Taylor made sure to make Nia feel comfy in no time. She was super kind and attentive!”

“Andrew was a wonderful sitter! This was the first time I’ve ever used Rover for Doggy Day Care and it was such a positive experience. Andrew was flexible with us, as we were traveling to and from Cedar Point. He took Piper on several fun, long walks. He lives in a beautiful area, perfect for a pup to relax and also to enjoy nature. He sent pictures and was responsive with updates. I highly recommend him and would definitely rebook.”

“Lindsey was amazingly accommodating to my last minute need for a dog sitter. She sent me pictures of my pup during his stay which was awesome! My pup came home exhausted, which lets me know he had an amazing time! Thank you again Lindsey!”

“Dexter enjoyed his time with Sydney and her beagle. He showed no hesitancy when I dropped him off each morning, so I know he was treated well. I enjoyed Sydney's messages and pictures to me of Dexter.”

“Michelle was fantastic! Reached out on short notice & she happily watched my pup. She was very responsive the whole day, sending pictures and videos with updates. Tucker had a great time, I will certainly be a returning client! Highly suggest to anyone looking for a sitter!”

McKinley Avenue Corridor dog parents share their Rover experiences
Cindy and her husband were incredibly warm, caring, and so kind to Marvin, who was having anxiety about being left behind. Right away, they showed him he was safe and was going to have a wonderful time. Within minutes of leaving him, I received photos showing him on their sofa being a lap dog. Cindy sent a lot of photos and was a fantastic communicator right from the start. One of the best Rover sitters I've experienced.

Our two dogs had such an amazing time with Jess! She was so responsive during the booking process and sent lots of photo updates throughout the day. Our dogs were so comfortable with her and I could tell they were so loved during their stay. We would definitely have them stay with her anytime!
