“Kathrine is a fantastic dog walker! She took such great care of my fur baby during their daily walks and always kept me in the loop with quick updates. She was so accommodating and flexible with my schedule, which made things so much easier for us. We are genuinely sad to be moving on and will miss her! Highly recommend her to anyone on Rover.”

“Vanessa is such an incredible support. She thinks quick and stays in control. We have a reactive dog and she always provides a safe and supportive environment.”

About: I grew up with two dogs we got as puppies that I helped train and take care of my whole life. One of my dogs lived until she was 16 years old with limited hearing and vision. I helped my mom take care of her into her old age. I recently rescued two stray cats and have learned how to take great care of kitties as well! My mom fosters kittens and I will often help her out when she needs it as well. My friends also ask me to watch their dogs or cats while they are out of town! I have learned that we are everything to our pets so I will do whatever I need to make sure they are happy because they are everything to me as well! I currently work full time 8-5 on weekdays. I am free on weekends anytime to help take care of your pet! I will be available Friday evening- Sunday evening. I always make sure my kitties have a clean space and clean water every day. I feed them very well and usually spoil them with toys, treats, and cuddles! I’m always looking for new ways to engage my kitties and make sure they are happy healthy!

About: When I say I've done it all, I really have! I have cared for my own furry (and not furry) family, including dogs, cats, fish, rabbits and bearded dragons. I am a current foster parent with a passion to help out those stressed in kennels. I have also taken care of other peoples pets including 20 dogs (yes, at once), cats, fish, horses, sheep, chickens, rabbits and even peacocks! I will never pass up an opportunity for animal kisses and furry loving. I currently work 2nd shift, so my mornings are free while a lot of others are at work! I have pretty bare weekends with room for animal loving! I find it most important to establish a trusting relationship first. Bringing myself to eye level and allowing the animal to calmly and willingly show interest in my presence. I am a big believer in treat motivation and positive word usage.

About: Your pets become my family the moment I meet them ☺️ I grew up with a host of furry comrades including dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters; and now care for two human kids and three cats who I adore. I welcome the opportunity to care for all types of pets -- whether that be the traditional dog /cat or rodents, reptiles, spiders and other creepy crawlies, you can trust you are in capable, caring and attentive hands. I am also more than happy to learn the ins and outs of caring for any special needs animals you may have. I have the flexibility of working from home and setting my own schedule 5 days a week, and excel most when I am able to visit and care for your pets during the workweek. Wednesdays and Thursdays see the most flexibility and availability to meet your needs. I take great pride in being able to treat both your pets and your dwelling with the respect they deserve! I am equal parts professional and down to earth.

“Payton is always on time and looks after the girls like they are her own. Since I have chihuahuas they typically don’t like to walk too far so she sits with them after they go potty to fill up the time. Another great walk/sitting!”

“Molly was AMAZING! She stepped right in when I contacted her last minute with short notice for help to have someone walk my pup. Biscuit immediately connected with her because of her gentle and kind spirit. I definitely recommend booking Molly!!”

“Thea was great with Pesto our 6 month old mini golden doodle. She came and met us beforehand and was available when our schedule changed last minute for an additional walk! Pesto loved her and we will be booking with her again!”

About: Hi! My name is Judith & I can’t wait to help care for your pets! I have over 13 years of professional animal care experience (including 4 years as a zookeeper working with elephants, rhinos, giraffes and other large mammals) & I currently run a non-profit animal rescue partnership in Puerto Rico called Moyo Village. If my calendar states that I’m unavailable, it is probably because I am there, as I go back & forth frequently. I am also a pet parent to 1 loving rescue dog of my own! My other past experience includes: • Kennel Technician at a high volume no-kill animal shelter (basically providing all aspects of dog care- all breeds & all personalities) • Working with the HEART program at a shelter to pull dogs from death row into no-kill partner shelters (again all breeds & personalities) • Experience with farm animals, horses, reptiles + amphibians, birds, and small mammals! With all of my animal care experience you can rest assured that your pets will have the best care possible while you are at work/vacation/or otherwise unable to give them the attention they deserve! Housesitting/care in your home: My normal “nightly rate” includes 3 - 30 minute visits per day, unless longer visits, staying in your home full time, or overnights are requested (additional fee.) Rates listed include a short walk/potty break, feeding, and any other care requested. If I am requested to stay in your home “full time” - please note that I will have to leave every few hours to care for my own pups. Your animals should be comfortable being alone for 2-3 hours at a time. Please feel free to discuss your pet’s preferred schedule during your inquiry! Cat care, drop-ins, & dog walks: Available in 30 minute blocks within a general timeframe based on your needs. I can provide whatever care you are looking for during this visit - potty breaks, walks, play time, cuddle time, feeding, litter box cleaning for cats, etc. Boarding/day care: I work full time from home, so am available for all day care when I am not traveling! I have a fully fenced backyard, and can also provide walks during daycare/boarding if needed. Your pup should be friendly with other dogs. Daycare rates cover up to 12 hrs per day. References available upon request. Note that I do work a full-time remote job, but have a flexible schedule. If “full time” care is requested, please note that I may need to leave for 2-3 hours at a time to care for my own pups. I am happy to make sure your pets stay on their normal schedule while you’re away! Please feel free to include details about their normal schedule in your request.

About: Hi there! I am so excited to meet both you and your pet!☺️ What sets me apart is the love and care I give to every pet I meet! I’ve worked with dogs and cats for close to 12 years, including obedience training for 5! Along with large animal care for close to 5! I am experienced with administering any type of medical training/care or extra support that your pet may need! I love taking the time to learn their routine, quirky ways, personality, and favorite things so they feel safe, loved, comfortable, and truly at home. I’m patient and encouraging with younger pets who are still learning. But, extra gentle and attentive with seniors who may need some extra help. You can always expect lots of updates and photos every day! I want you to be comfortable knowing that your pet is safe, happy, and healthy while you are away and being in my care☺️ I update my schedule often throughout the week! I am available for all services throughout the week, please check on what days I’m available for which services on the booking calendar! I am located in an apartment, so most of the services provided would need to be at the clients home; i.e. walks around your home, daytime/overnight, long-term care in your home where your pet would feel most comfortable and safe!

About: I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals, which has given me a deep understanding of different temperaments and care needs. While I currently have one dog of my own, I have cared for dogs of all sizes - from pugs to Bernese mountain dogs, as well as cats. I have shared my home with guinea pigs, a snake, a a turtle, and even bunnies. Whether your pet needs a good long walk or just some quiet companionship, I have the hands on experience to ensure they are happy, safe, and loved! I thrive on a consistent routine, which makes me a very reliable sitter. My work schedule (M-Th 8am-5:30pm; Fri 8am-12pm) allows me to provide structured evening care. Because I am completely open on the weekends, I’m able to offer extended playtime and adventure for high energy dogs or extra social time for cats and small pets. Since I am a pet owner myself, caring for animals is already a natural, daily part of my life! Whether at my home or yours, I provide a safe, consistent, and active routine. In my home: I live in a secure apartment accessible only by fob key, ensuring a controlled and safe environment for your pet. I am located in a highly walkable area surrounded by quiet, pet-friendly neighborhoods. In your home: I am extremely respectful of your space and follow your established house rules. I am diligent about key security and ensuring all entries are locked and secure. For dogs, I provide structured walks through the local neighborhoods to keep them engaged. For cats and smaller pets (like bunnies and reptiles), I focus on interactive play and maintaining their specific habitat requirements. I provide frequent photo updates so you can see your pet throughout your time away!
About: I have had doggies my whole life! Special experience with young puppies- I fostered two pitbulls from 3 weeks old to adoption age (see profile pic!). Able to administer medications and insulin to animals. I’m currently a 4th year medical student post-match with no rotations. Lots of free time at all hours to take care of pets! Can easily check on pets during work hours. I am very comfortable with a wide variety of dog types and dog energy levels (your puppy jumping on me is totally ok). I am a very careful and prepared dog walker- always bring a doggie water bottle and poop bags! I’m very patient with dogs who need some extra TLC and have experience walking anxious dogs and helping them avoid other people/dogs.
McKinley Avenue Corridor dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jessica does a phenomenal job with my dog! She leaves detailed reports on how their walks go and time spent together. I get pictures too! She is always timely and provides whatever Opie needs. Opie has loved spending time with her and he feels very comfortable with her - which is huge since he is a little shy.
