About: I've taken care of family dogs, both large and small, since around age twelve. In high school I also cared for a bird, as well as part of my adulthood. In early adulthood I worked for three years as a professional dog handler and dog walker for a company in New York City. I am accustomed to reading dogs body language and keeping them safe and feeling secure. I've lived with cats in more recent years and have consistently been hired to cat sit for neighbors. I am comfortable with elder pets, administering medications, and helping anxious pets feel more comfortable at home and out in the world. I also have some experience with smaller mammals (rabbits, guinea pigs, domestic rats) as well as some farm animals. I am a full-time grad student, so my schedule is much more flexible than a 9-5 worker. That said, at the moment I can only take care of pets who can be alone for at least four hours at a time during the week because of my class schedule (weekends I'm more flexible). You can depend on me to safely enter and exit your home with care for security and cleanliness, and I'd always touch base with you for any concerns. I'm also disabled by long-COVID and take many COVID mitigations (still masking), so I'd be safer for immunocompromised clients. For drop-in visits and popping into your home for a dog walk, I will be masked. For pet sitting overnight, I'm always happy to take a COVID test—just let me know!

About: As from a former animal foster family and being pet sitter since I was 14, I promise to adore and protect your furry family the same way I do my own 4 cats and 3 dogs. I have experience with cats and dogs of all ages. Whether it is going for a walk, or a daily drop-ins, I will give them all the attention they desire and match whatever energy they need. I think animals make our lives so much better, and it’s only right to give them the best love and care they deserve! I am a college student looking to take her academic breaks to make a bit of money for school and destress at the same time by being around some amazing fluffy friends. It’s honestly one of the best jobs because of who I get to work with! My variability does vary as a product of my schooling. I am a very regimented person. I like steps and structure, and follow the needs of the pets and desires of owners to the letter. I find it important not to change too much on your pets when you are away, so sticking to their system and what they know best will reduce their stress. It’s their home and their space, I’m just visiting.
