About: I've taken care of family dogs, both large and small, since around age twelve. In high school I also cared for a bird, as well as part of my adulthood. In early adulthood I worked for three years as a professional dog handler and dog walker for a company in New York City. I am accustomed to reading dogs body language and keeping them safe and feeling secure. I've lived with cats in more recent years and have consistently been hired to cat sit for neighbors. I am comfortable with elder pets, administering medications, and helping anxious pets feel more comfortable at home and out in the world. I also have some experience with smaller mammals (rabbits, guinea pigs, domestic rats) as well as some farm animals. I am a full-time grad student, so my schedule is much more flexible than a 9-5 worker. That said, at the moment I can only take care of pets who can be alone for at least four hours at a time during the week because of my class schedule (weekends I'm more flexible). You can depend on me to safely enter and exit your home with care for security and cleanliness, and I'd always touch base with you for any concerns. I'm also disabled by long-COVID and take many COVID mitigations (still masking), so I'd be safer for immunocompromised clients. For drop-in visits and popping into your home for a dog walk, I will be masked. For pet sitting overnight, I'm always happy to take a COVID test—just let me know!

About: Due to my active and flexible lifestyle, I am very capable of walking a wide range of dogs from small to large and lazy to hyper. My Australian Shepherd (Covid puppy) does a great job of reminding me to take her on 2-3 walks a day, give her special cuddles and tug on her rope daily. She’s a very smart and trained girl, but just like me, she needs exercise or she’ll get the zoomies! I currently work from home and have good breaks throughout the day, as well as, a flexible schedule giving me the ability to leave my desk and go for a walk or check in on a pup or cat. In my experience walking and taking care of other pets, I’ve been very communicative with what the owner requests. For example, I’ve had opportunities where I’ve had to be very careful about opening the front door because the dog may run out of the house. I’ve also been in positions where I double and triple check if the dog I’m walking is in their harness/leash correctly because they are masterminds when it comes to escaping. If the client is specific with their pet’s needs, I try my best to follow their directions to a tee.

About: Please let me walk your dog! Anyone around me will tell you that I will look for their pets before I tour their home. Needless to say, I enjoy being around animals. I have cared for the pets of family, friends, and neighbors since 2012. My family first adopted dogs in 2018, and I adopted my first cat of my own in 2022. I have also adopted my own rodents in 2005 and 2017. I have raised, trained, and cared for dogs ranging from puppies to seniors, from toy-sized to giant (horse-sized). I have also cared for cats from kittens to adults, ranging from runts to Maine Coons. I am comfortable giving medications, providing close monitoring, and handling emergencies. I am able to provide the appropriate amount of care, energy, maintenance, and attention for your pet. I have gone through my own journey of improving and optimizing the way I care for animals over the years. Currently, I care for three adult cats: my cat Willow and my roommates’ cats, Juneau and Olympia. I also help care for two dogs at my family’s home—one senior and one young adult. I am a morning person who enjoys being outside, as well as staying cozy indoors and staying up late. I am an open book, so please feel free to ask me any questions. As long as you are willing to communicate openly, I am willing to work with you. :) I am a part-time student at OSU working on my B.S. in Forensic Biology and expect to graduate in May 2026! My Spring 2026 course schedule is currently from 9a–12p M–F, with some variations on certain weekdays. I work full-time at OSU Medical Center as a Med Lab Tech in the Central Processing Lab. My work schedule is from 1p–9:30p M–W and F (4 days/week), and one weekend per month from 7a–3:30p. I am on the fence about changing my work schedule to part-time, so my work schedule may change. I am pretty flexible with my schedule. Just ask, and we can always work something out. My policy is to give me a heads-up, and I also don’t mind considering same-day care—just ask about my availability! I care for any and all animals as if they were my own blood. I have experience with aggressive pets of my own in the past and encounters with aggressive animals. I worked as a lifeguard manager at my home city pool for 4–5 years, so I have extensive previous training in first aid and emergencies for humans. I am comfortable providing medications, close monitoring, and handling emergencies. I have had emergencies with pets of my own, so I know what steps are necessary and when help is needed. I have been able to care for animals with a variety of personalities, from extremely anxious or shy, to very outgoing and energetic. I deeply love and care for animals, and I want them to be able to enjoy their time apart from their owners as comfortably and happily as possible. I share a townhouse with my two friends currently; we each have our own cats. Their cats have not been around dogs before, so at this time I am unable to offer canine care services in my own home. I would have to provide feline care services in my own home on a case-by-case basis, so feel free to inquire!

Please note that my bedroom is on the second floor so if your furry buddy likes to have overnight cuddles, the use of stairs or being properly carried is required. For in-home pet care, I follow the owner’s instructions closely to maintain their pet’s normal routine. This includes feeding, administering medication if needed, walks, playtime, and lots of attention. I make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for, whether that means sticking to their usual schedule or giving extra cuddles while their family is away. For sitting I will not provide overnight care, but will ensure a late night and early morning potty break.
