“Miriam did a fantastic job taking care of goose and Delta. She was reliable, on time, and fantastic with communication. Set my mind at ease while I was away! I would happily refer her to anyone who needs a dog or pet sitter and will definitely be using her again!”

“Sheridan helped me last minute when my previous sitter had to cancel on me. She responded promptly, was attentive, and gave great updates. I’m extremely appreciative of her help!”

“Alanis was prompt with communications both when booking and during her stay. She sent messages and pictures to let us know things were doing well. We sure appreciated that our dogs were in good hands!”

“Elizabeth was amazing. It's not easy going away worry-free on vacation, but she nailed it. I didn't leave her with any instructions and she handled everything flawlessly. Even exceeded expectations. Cannot recommend enough!”

“Kelly was absolutely fantastic. Her communication was incredible! We found up night before our flight that we could not board our dog because she had come down with kennel cough. I found Kelly and she responded immediately that she was available! She came over the morning of the flight to meet Edith, and we knew immediately that she was perfect to watch her! We received updates and pictures and constant reassurance that everything was going well! We will always use her going forward! This was the best experience I think we’ve ever had with any boarding type of situation. This is definitely the way to go from here on out! Thank you so much, Kelly.”

“Erica is seriously the best! I always know that Clyde is in the most loving hands while i’m away. My house is just how I left it (if not, it’s cleaner) :) and I receive daily updates and pictures. I appreciate her and so does Clyde!”

“Lyndsey took excellent care of my two kitties while I was out of state visiting family for Christmas. She was responsive, thorough, and sent updates/pictures during her stay. I booked Lyndsey back in July as I knew sitter availability would be limited as it got closer to the holidays, and I could tell from the meet and greet Lyndsey was a great choice and would do a wonderful job. So thankful for her help!”

About: Please let me walk your dog! Anyone around me will tell you that I will look for their pets before I tour their home. Needless to say, I enjoy being around animals. I have cared for the pets of family, friends, and neighbors since 2012. My family first adopted dogs in 2018, and I adopted my first cat of my own in 2022. I have also adopted my own rodents in 2005 and 2017. I have raised, trained, and cared for dogs ranging from puppies to seniors, from toy-sized to giant (horse-sized). I have also cared for cats from kittens to adults, ranging from runts to Maine Coons. I am comfortable giving medications, providing close monitoring, and handling emergencies. I am able to provide the appropriate amount of care, energy, maintenance, and attention for your pet. I have gone through my own journey of improving and optimizing the way I care for animals over the years. Currently, I care for three adult cats: my cat Willow and my roommates’ cats, Juneau and Olympia. I also help care for two dogs at my family’s home—one senior and one young adult. I am a morning person who enjoys being outside, as well as staying cozy indoors and staying up late. I am an open book, so please feel free to ask me any questions. As long as you are willing to communicate openly, I am willing to work with you. :) May 11-Aug 7 Unavailable: MWF 11:30p-1:30p, Tu 1p-3p, Th 5:30p-7:30p I'm currently a part-time student at OSU. I had recently stepped away from my full-time position to focus on my last couple courses to complete my degree. I pick up requests here and there as they fit my school schedule. I'm flexible with my free time so feel free to inquire and ask any questions about my availability! I care for any and all animals as if they were my own blood. I have experience with aggressive pets of my own in the past and encounters with aggressive animals. I worked as a lifeguard manager at my home city pool for 4–5 years, so I have extensive previous training in first aid and emergencies for humans. I am comfortable providing medications, close monitoring, and handling emergencies. I have had emergencies with pets of my own, so I know what steps are necessary and when help is needed. I have been able to care for animals with a variety of personalities, from extremely anxious or shy, to very outgoing and energetic. I deeply love and care for animals, and I want them to be able to enjoy their time apart from their owners as comfortably and happily as possible. I share a townhouse with my two friends currently; we each have our own cats. Their cats have not been around dogs before, so at this time I am unable to offer canine care services in my own home. I would have to provide feline care services in my own home on a case-by-case basis, so feel free to inquire!
“Kristin was the absolute best! She took such great care of Benji, made sure he had everything he needed, and even sent me picture updates throughout the stay! I came back home to a very VERY happy pup :)”

About: I have had dogs my whole life and have pet sit for friends and family since I was 9. I love all types of pups with different personalities. I can be high energy for dogs who need it, but also am fine with chilling with low activity. Can’t wait to meet new fur babies!! I am wanting to do pet care as something to keep me busy and active, and for a second job that I will easily enjoy! My house does not have a fence around the yard, but would be taken out on a leash. There are no other pets in the house.
“Rachael did an excellent job house sitting/watching our two boys (cats)! She was a fantastic communicator and sent us lot of pictures. Our apartment was spotless when we returned and our cats warmed right up to her. We will definitely rebook!”

“Cheyenne did an amazing job taking care of our elderly shitzu and staying over while we were away. She is now our go-to dogsitter whenever we go away! Thank you Cheyenne!!!!”

About: I have had dogs all my life. From relaxed dogs to absolute crazy ones, no matter what they are always my best friend. I have taught all my dogs their basic skills, like sit, heal, and also to sit at crosswalks until I say it’s clear! I have dealt with all different sizes of dogs and ages for dogs, always happy help. I am a college student. So my availability varies from time to time, but I will try my best to get back to you as soon as possible to help with your pet. My dog is apart of my family so I treat her with love and respect! I give her loads of belly rubs as those are her favorite! I walk her everyday typically twice a day. She gets told she’s a pretty girl 24/7 because she’s gotta know her worth! My dog is my whole world, I’ll do anything for her!
About: I've grown up with dogs since I was 8, having owned rottweilers and a pug. I'm comfortable handling different personalities, sizes, ages, and energy level. I am a student at Ohio State looking to make a couple extra bucks while hanging out with cute dogs! I am available weekends and weekdays after 1 PM I give dogs lots of attention through playtime, a walk, brushing them, or just laying with them. I can follow specific instructions with feeding, bathroom breaks, or routines they have. Can also send updates or photos if wanted/needed.
“Anna stayed with our dog Ginger for an extended weekend and she was fantastic! From the meet and greet to photo updates, we could tell that our anxious dog loved her and felt comfortable around her. 10/10 and we will definitely be booking with Anna again!”

“Dylan dog sat our two senior dogs for 9 days. He was incredibly communicative and quick to respond. He gave daily walks, and successfully gave meds. We felt comfortable with him in our home, the dogs loved him, and we’ll definitely use him again!”

About: I have had at least a decade of experience with dogs, cats, and many other animals. I have dogsat, dogwalked, and worked as a veterinary technician's assistant in the past. I am graduating with my bachelor's in animal science from the Ohio State University this May, and I will be continuing my education at Ohio State's College of Veterinary Medicine. I have plenty of experience handling dogs and cats of all health, dietary, and temperament needs. I am currently available at most times! I prefer to work on weekdays rather than weekends, but both are fine. I would rather work in the afternoon but mornings work as well. I can feed, give water, play with, walk, pet, give medicine, pick up after, and basically take care of the animal as much as possible. I will sleep over if needed and can come over for potty breaks. I am a short female, so I may not be able to walk a big dog if it runs/pulls a lot.
University pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kelsey is SO kind. Her love and care for my cats was apparent from the first video update she sent. She was patient when the cats were being quirky and she went above and beyond to ensure their routines were followed and they were as happy as possible. I will absolutely be booking with her again. Thank you for everything, Kelsey!!

We have used Bethany a few times now to watch our dog Milo. This time she house sat for us and also took care of our cat, everything went smoothly! Bethany is a great person, great communicator and a superior pet sitter. She always gives us peace of mind when we go on trips!

I had a great experience with Quinn! She took excellent care of my dog and cats while I was away, giving me complete peace of mind. Communication was fantastic, with regular updates and photos that showed how happy and comfortable my pets were. It was clear that she genuinely cared for each animal and treated them like her own. I came home to well-cared-for, relaxed pets and a tidy home. I highly recommend Quinn to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate pet sitter.

Alexa was recommended to me by my coworker who also has a nervous and attached dog. She took such good care of my dog and care of my house and it was so nice to come home from a trip and have everything be nice and peaceful. My dog was so happy and content. I am so grateful.

Kristen was so great! She was available on very late notice and came over to meet me and my pups the same day! She went above and beyond with photo and video updates which were amazing to see while traveling. You can tell she had a genuine interest in caring for the pups and not just there “punching the clock”. She did way better than I could have ever hoped and was a life saver in what was a last minute situation. 5⭐️

Once again, Carlie took wonderful care of our pups, and we returned to happy dogs and a home exactly as we left it. Our golden retriever required extra attention this time due to new medication and storm anxiety, and Carlie handled both with ease. She kept us updated throughout with messages and photos, and we could tell everyone had settled in comfortably together. We’re so grateful to have her. We didn’t have a single worry while we were away!

Miriam did a great job watching our two little dogs! She took great care of them, sent lots of updates and made us feel like there was nothing to worry about at home. She left our house sparkling clean, and even washed and made the bed so we didn't have to. I would highly recommend her and plan on using her again!

Kelly was absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much, Kelly.

Jessica was amazing!!! She watched our sweet pup for a week and our normally anxious girl was happy as a clam. We got a ton of fun photos and updates which let me enjoy our trip without any worries. She even left a cute note with Polaroids. Completely unexpectedly, she even bought Belle a birthday gift since she turned four during the trip! Absolute sweetheart

Sheridan did a great job with our senior dog. He requires a little extra time to warm up because he has low vision and dementia, but she was patient with him and took great care of him over the weekend we were away. We got plenty of pictures and updates each day.
