About: I’ve had pets since I was a wee lad and my mom has instilled the importance of their love and care in me. Everyone from friends to strangers have relied on me to take care of their pets. I am so happy to love your pets for you while you’re away. I’m currently in between jobs and doing some freelance editing for authors, so I will have plenty of time for walks, in-home pet sitting, etc. My schedule will work around yours. About: Hi! My name is Grant and I currently work fully remote at home in Bexley, OH. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have lived with two cats, so I am very accustomed to taking care of animals. Due to my ability to work remote, I have become my friends’ traveling pet sitter. I’ve cared for 4 french bulldogs, 2 bernedoodles, 3 cats, and 2 australian shepherds, all for 2 weeks or more at a time. I love meeting new animals and spending all day with them, so I figured I would join Rover to expand my network! I’m a super active person, so I love to get pets’ energy worked out whether it’s through walking, playing, or just chasing them around the house. I could tell that Fritz was well cared for and Melanie took great care of my house too - watering plants, cleaning things up -it was great to come home to a well cared for house and dog. This is the second time we’ve had Laura and Dan do an overnight stay with our dog. We were gone 8 days. They communicate very well; we got daily pictures and updates that made us feel like our dog was having a great time. When we returned the house was neat and tidy. Highly recommended!!
Aleisa is the best!!! She did an incredible job watching my medically fragile girl, including handling a situation that led to an emergency vet visit. She did an amazing job keeping in contact about Frannie’s day to day, asked great questions, and communicated any conflicts with scheduling. Kelsi knocked it out of the park we are so happy to have found her for house sitting with our dog! She’s the absolute best we’ve found yet for sending all sorts of pictures and videos throughout the stay. Kelsi also proved very quickly she can handle anything dog related, our boy can be reactive and high energy and she seemed to have no issues bonding with him right away. She also went above and beyond for us on the last day in dealing with a skunk incident! Would 100% recommend Kelsi for her professionalism and clear love of working with dogs.
We recently entrusted our beagle, Kylie, to Stacey’s care—and we couldn’t be more grateful that we did. We specifically chose Stacey because of her extensive experience as a vet tech, which was crucial since Kylie suffers from seizures. Her understanding of animal behavior was another key factor, as Kylie is a former puppy mill mama who struggles with significant separation anxiety. Normally, my husband and I don't travel anywhere without Kylie. But due to a sudden loss in our immediate family, we had no choice but to find someone we could trust. Stacey exceeded every expectation. She was incredibly empathetic and reassuring, understanding just how difficult it was for us to leave Kylie for the first time. Stacey went above and beyond—taking Kylie on walks to ease her anxiety and patiently earning her trust. To our amazement, Kylie eventually snuggled up and napped with her, something she only does with close family members. That moment alone spoke volumes. We wholeheartedly recommend Stacey and will absolutely have her care for Kylie again. She brought comfort and peace of mind to both us and our sweet girl during a very difficult time.
