About: I absolutely love animals! I grew up in a home full of dogs and cats, and helping care for them was such a big part of my life growing up. I now have a cat of my own, my fur baby, Fish 🐱 I recently graduated from PA school and won’t be starting my job until August, which means I have lots of availability this summer! Spending my days with animals honestly sounds like the perfect way to spend the season. I’d love the opportunity to care for and spend time with your pets! (: I don’t start work until August, so I have a pretty open schedule and lots of availability! I do have one week-long vacation planned this summer, but aside from that, my schedule is very flexible. I’d prefer to handle most pet care during the week, but I’m available on weekends as well! 😊 It’s a single-story home, so I’m always nearby and able to keep a close eye on any pets in the house. We also have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time and play!

About: All of my dog care experience has been stay at home dog sitting and volunteer work at a dog shelter. Because I work at a dog shelter, I know many of the basic techniques and rules of dog care such as grooming, clean up, body language of dogs, and taking care of dogs that may have been abused or experienced trauma in the past. I have a 2 year old french bull dog that I love. Mr. Bean brings excitement, adventure, and love to my everyday life. I am especially good at taking care of senior pets as they are my favorite to support in petsitting capacities. I am a graduate student that spends a lot of time reading, writing, and hanging out at home. Because of this, I am very flexible and can fit pet care in ways someone with a 9-5 could not. I am available in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings during the week and frequently on the weekend. I care for other's pets the way I care for my own - with patience and love. As a graduate student and researcher, I am quick to problem solve and critically think about creative solutions in different scenarios.

About: After working in an animal hospital, I have learned so much about dogs and the care they need! I've worked with newborn puppies all the way up to senior dogs who need some extra care and help. I try to give puppies a little bit of training when needed (just basic stuff like sit, stay, lay down). Baths and giving medicine when needed are things I am comfortable with. I absolutely love working with dogs and I do my absolute best to make them feel as comfortable, safe, and loved as I can! I have worked with cats nearly my entire life and up until a few years ago, they have been the only pet I've had! I have also worked with kittens up to senior cats. I am very aware of medications and possible health issues with dogs and cats. I love spoiling both with treats and new toys. For cats, I deep clean litter boxes regularly and make sure they stay as clean as possible. I work part time at two jobs, but I only work up to 5 hour shifts at each. I am a very organized person (I use a planner and two different calendar apps!) so I will always make sure to plan out walks, feeding, and playtime. When petsitting, your pet is my priority! It is extremely helpful if I am left a list or note of things I can do to best take care of your pet(s)! I am very bubbly and love working with animals, which I think helps pets get comfortable with me. If a pet is nervous, then I let them slowly open up on their own. At my home, I love playing with my pets, giving them treats, and spoiling them with new toys when I can.

She went above and beyond with photo and video updates which were amazing to see while traveling. You can tell she had a genuine interest in caring for the pups and not just there “punching the clock”. She did way better than I could have ever hoped and was a life saver in what was a last minute situation. 5⭐️”

“We consider ourselves very lucky to have found Ashley on such short notice ahead of the holidays. Our dates were in flux and we couldn't book as far in advance as we would have liked. I was VERY anxious booking someone new for a full week (as our normal sitter was not available) especially given we have a senior cat that requires regular meds, but Ashley did everything in her power to make this paranoid cat mom feel at ease! She stopped by for a meet and greet ahead of the booking. She sent loads of pictures and updates, including regular updates on how my senior boy was doing taking his meds. Both cats seemed very comfortable with her as evidenced by the snuggles my senior cat gave and the very limited number of hisses from our spicy girl. When we got home, the house was in impeccable shape and Ashley even brought in our mail/packages, which I greatly appreciated! We will definitely be rebooking with Ashley next time we need someone to watch the buddies!”
