“Laura regularly helps watch our dog and is always so responsive, attentive, and respectful. It gives us so much comfort to know she’s taking care of our dog and home while away!”

“Miriam did a fantastic job taking care of goose and Delta. She was reliable, on time, and fantastic with communication. Set my mind at ease while I was away! I would happily refer her to anyone who needs a dog or pet sitter and will definitely be using her again!”

“Emma watched Sadie while we were away for a day. She was communicative when needed, did everything we asked of her, and even stayed a little while extra to comfort Sadie when Sadie was afraid of fireworks going off outside. Sadie was cared for and in good spirits when we returned. We would happily book Emma again!”

“Sophia was wonderful! She was incredibly responsive, communicative, and flexible throughout the entire process. Most importantly, she was so kind and caring with my animals, which gave me real peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful sitter.”

“Anna stayed with our dog Ginger for an extended weekend and she was fantastic! From the meet and greet to photo updates, we could tell that our anxious dog loved her and felt comfortable around her. 10/10 and we will definitely be booking with Anna again!”

“My dog loved Erica! After she watched him for a weekend, he whimpered when she left. She was very easy to communicate with, sent pictures of my pup, and left the house clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend her!”

About: I’ve been walking my two dogs around downtown for more than 5 years—we know all the best spots! I nursed one of my dogs during surgical recovery and both are technically geriatric at this point, so I have experience with dogs of nearly all ages. Would love to get to know your fur babies! I work remotely downtown so my schedule is fairly flexible. Some days I have no meetings at all! Even when I do, they are few and far between. I generally tend to stay local to Downtown when I’m not working too. Plenty of walks and playtime, always making sure to keep an eye on them so they stay out of trouble. My dogs love to snuggle so we often curl up on the couch with a good show or movie!
“Reilly was an outstanding dog and house sitter for our three dogs (10 days). He provided frequent updates and photos, kept the dogs happy and relaxed, and followed our care routine exactly. Our house was spotless when we returned — better than when we left it. Reliable, friendly, and clearly experienced with pets; we’ll happily hire Reilly again and highly recommend him.”

“Zach was such a blessing to us. He was so understanding and flexible with our needs and our old doggies and kitties love him. He was attentive and thorough with all our millions of instructions for taking care of our geriatric Great Danes with many health issues. He also took care of some things last minute for us that I had forgotten to do. It was such a relief to find someone we could trust to stay with our boys. Thank you Zach ❤️”
“Sheridan did a great job with our senior dog. He requires a little extra time to warm up because he has low vision and dementia, but she was patient with him and took great care of him over the weekend we were away. We got plenty of pictures and updates each day.”

About: Hello! My name is Noah and I’m super excited to get started on Rover. I’ve had many friends use this app (both as sitters and clients) and they referred me as a great way to be productive while also taking care of your pets. I am a third-year medical student at Ohio University (Dublin Branch) but I live here in Italian Village. Given that I am going into some debt with medical school, I figured why not earn some extra cash on the side while doing something I love! I have a 9-year old Havanese at my family home whom I raised, so I am super used to dogs and absolutely adore them, no matter their size or personality. Currently, I am free all morning and evening. However, beginning in early/mid July, I begin my hospital orientation remotely from 9am-noon. I can begin working after this, or I could bring my laptop to the client’s home and take care of your dog(s) during this time as well. Depending on the amenities and neighborhood, I love to take pets for long walks and play with them outside. I’m used to dealing with pets that range from totally independent to needing constant attention.
About: I grew up with dogs, cats and horses. I've taken care of dogs of all sizes since I was ten years old. Currently I own a cat but am comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I am free on evenings during the week and day time and evenings on most weekends. I am in Columbus for most holidays and here to help you enjoy your time away knowing your pet is well taken care of. My home is not sized to fit other animals but I have a car and am happy to drive to your house to take care of your pet
“Emily is extremely kind and communicative! She sent me photos daily of my pups, she followed my instructions to a T, she kept my house extremely clean, and I would recommend her to anyone! My dogs were so happy when we came home and that tells me everything I need to know about her. She’s the best!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, big and small, helping care for them through training all the way to at a senior age. Since moving away from my family I’ve missed being around my loving dogs and I’m ready to spread that love to your pets, always promising to treat them like I would my own! I work full time, but hybrid during the week. I’m happy to do early morning/late night visits and during the day visits on my hybrid days/weekends. Please reach out with any scheduling concerns and I’m happy to answer any questions! In my clients home I will be cautious and careful to protect their spaces and help to make their pets feel safe, especially if it is our first time meeting.
“Meghan was a terrific dog sister. Our little 8 pound Maltese looked like he loved every minute of his time with her. She took him on long walks, play time and sent us pics everyday. We could tell by the look on his face how happy he was with her. couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter.”

Sheridan is a great sitter. And Gracie loves her too. Sheridan has stayed multiple times to take care of her and this time Gracie accidentally stepped on a bee. Sheridan was able to get the stinger out of her foot and call me to talk through getting her Benadryl. She made sure she was okay before she left and even followed up the next day to make sure she was okay. So thoughtful and caring!

Sofia did a wonderful job taking care of our 2 year old Miniature Aussie! She had excellent communications and navigated some challenging situations including TWO tornados during our absence! Both our dog and our home were in perfect condition upon our return.

Reilly was an outstanding dog and house sitter for our three dogs (10 days). He provided frequent updates and photos, kept the dogs happy and relaxed, and followed our care routine exactly. Our house was spotless when we returned — better than when we left it. Reliable, friendly, and clearly experienced with pets; we’ll happily hire Reilly again and highly recommend him.

Sophia was wonderful! She was incredibly responsive, communicative, and flexible throughout the entire process. Most importantly, she was so kind and caring with my animals, which gave me real peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful sitter.

First time Rover user and I couldn’t be happier. Paige and Cindy tag teamed watching my dog while I worked out of town for a few nights. I received updates & photos regularly (which I loved) and they truly treated my girl like she was their own. I will 100% be requesting their services again. They stayed at my home and left it tidy and even left dog tv on for my girl until I arrived home. 100 stars. Thank you ladies!!

Bella was amazing for housesitting during my two week trip! This was my first time leaving my dog alone and she made me feel so comfortable. She provided me with daily updates and photos on how he was doing! Was very attentive and nurturing with him! And made sure she asked a lot of questions beforehand so I felt comfortable she was very prepared for things I hadn’t even considered when leaving him. She is amazing with dogs. Cannot recommend her enough!!!

We are very happy with care that Stephen provided for our dog Pompey. Stephen is a very nice, polite and responsible young man. He asked all the right questions about our dog and our requirements. We would hire him again if we are in the area. He kept us updated about his stay, which we really appreciated.
