I have had pets and have been around animals since I was 3 years old. I have been house sitting for people since 2015 and have been a verified Rover walker for 3 years. I have experience with senior cats and dogs, aggressive cats, anxious and reactive dogs, young cats and dogs, pigs, guinea pigs, birds, horses, chickens, and snakes. I worked at a barn for several years and am comfortable caring for livestock. I have experience giving animals medication if needed. I respect that each animal is an individual and take the time to form a relationship with them based on their own background, needs, and personality. I clean up after myself and aim to leave your home cleaner than I found it. I do have my own dog, Arlo, who is an extremely well behaved 10 year old Great Pyrenees mix. At this point, Arlo has come on so many house sitting jobs with me he is essentially a coworker. I do offer a 10% discount if I am able to bring him with me to your home, as this is a huge convenience for me. This is by no means a requirement, however, and I do have accommodations for him to stay with family if this is not something you would be interested in.
