About: I grew up with dogs, cats and horses. I've taken care of dogs of all sizes since I was ten years old. Currently I own a cat but am comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I am free on evenings during the week and day time and evenings on most weekends. I am in Columbus for most holidays and here to help you enjoy your time away knowing your pet is well taken care of. My home is not sized to fit other animals but I have a car and am happy to drive to your house to take care of your pet

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, big and small, helping care for them through training all the way to at a senior age. Since moving away from my family I’ve missed being around my loving dogs and I’m ready to spread that love to your pets, always promising to treat them like I would my own! I work full time, but hybrid during the week. I’m happy to do early morning/late night visits and during the day visits on my hybrid days/weekends. Please reach out with any scheduling concerns and I’m happy to answer any questions! In my clients home I will be cautious and careful to protect their spaces and help to make their pets feel safe, especially if it is our first time meeting.

“Merri is absolutely amazing! My 13 year old yorkie, Noel, had a kidney removed. I’m a nurse, so I work 12 hour shifts. I was so nervous to leave her at home and go back to work after the surgery. However, Merri was great with her and made me feel so much better about going back to work. It all started when she came over for the meet and greet and took careful notes. I could tell she genuinely cared about her and making sure she was comfortable. She stayed with Noel my entire work day, and took her potty and on short walks very frequently. She provided her lots of cuddles and love, and even made sure she had her sweatshirt on and blankets to curl up in. She administered her medications and checked her stitches to make sure they looked good. I received updates multiple times a day. I highly recommend Merri to anyone. She will take excellent care of your babies!”

About: I started pet sitting when I was around 13 with my next-door neighbor’s dog Shiloh. I grew up with her and had played with her before so she was a great starting point for me! Since then, I have watched family/friends pets whenever they were sick or went out of town and have been doing so for years, throughout high school. My freshman year of college, my roommate has a service dog in training, and I’ve learned even more about dog training and dog care in general from him. I’m in my 3rd year at OSU studying English and Psychology, so I try to fit pet care into my weekly schedule. I have availability most days, however the times may change from day to day depending on my classes and extracurricular schedules. I have a pet cat that I have to leave at home with my parents when I leave for school, so I understand the anxiety that comes with leaving your pet without you for any amount of time. I’m very open to owner’s routines and hope to care for your pets in the way you would care for them yourself!

I grew up with three wonderful dogs of various sizes, and as an adult I’ve had a large dog of my own, two small dogs, and a cat. One of my pups was adopted from a shelter, two came to me from foster parents, and my cat was a stray who chose our home — so I’m very comfortable with pets who have unique personalities, histories, or special needs. I’m gentle, patient, and very responsible. Whether your pet needs a long walk, calm companionship, or lots of playtime, I tailor my care to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. You can expect great communication, attention to detail, and a genuine love for your furry family member. I would be honored to earn your trust and care for your pets like they’re my own. 💛🐶🐾 I'm currently a home-maker, so I have a very flexible schedule to take care of your pet's needs. I have openings 7 days a week, mornings, afternoons and evenings. I prefer to come to your home to tend to your pet. I do have a fenced in yard for my dogs, but my terrier mix can be a little bossy. I'm always open to having your pet meet my terrier though if you'd like your fur baby to stay for a visit at our house.
