About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was a kid and have years of hands-on experience caring for both. I regularly cat sit for friends, including senior cats who require specialized food and medication, and I’m very comfortable following detailed care routines. I’m patient and encouraging with dogs and focus on calm, consistent care. Whether it’s walks or drop-ins, my goal is to provide dependable, low-stress care so both you and your pets feel comfortable and supported. *Open to all species! Pet care is a consistent and important part of my week. I schedule regular walks, visits, and check-ins at times that work best for each pet’s routine. When caring for cats, I follow their feeding schedules, administer medications if needed, and provide quiet companionship. Dogs get attentive walks or playtime, with plenty of patience and encouragement. I prioritize consistency, so pets feel safe, comfortable, and supported while their owners are away. I treat every home and pet with care and respect. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, and routines, and I make sure to keep the space clean and secure. I provide companionship, walks, and attention as needed, always prioritizing the pet’s comfort and safety.
“Rachael did an excellent job house sitting/watching our two boys (cats)! She was a fantastic communicator and sent us lot of pictures. Our apartment was spotless when we returned and our cats warmed right up to her. We will definitely rebook!”

“Alanis was prompt with communications both when booking and during her stay. She sent messages and pictures to let us know things were doing well. We sure appreciated that our dogs were in good hands!”

About: I've grown up with dogs since I was 8, having owned rottweilers and a pug. I'm comfortable handling different personalities, sizes, ages, and energy level. I am a student at Ohio State looking to make a couple extra bucks while hanging out with cute dogs! I am available weekends and weekdays after 1 PM I give dogs lots of attention through playtime, a walk, brushing them, or just laying with them. I can follow specific instructions with feeding, bathroom breaks, or routines they have. Can also send updates or photos if wanted/needed.
“Cheyenne did an amazing job taking care of our elderly shitzu and staying over while we were away. She is now our go-to dogsitter whenever we go away! Thank you Cheyenne!!!!”

About: I’ve been walking my two dogs around downtown for more than 5 years—we know all the best spots! I nursed one of my dogs during surgical recovery and both are technically geriatric at this point, so I have experience with dogs of nearly all ages. Would love to get to know your fur babies! I work remotely downtown so my schedule is fairly flexible. Some days I have no meetings at all! Even when I do, they are few and far between. I generally tend to stay local to Downtown when I’m not working too. Plenty of walks and playtime, always making sure to keep an eye on them so they stay out of trouble. My dogs love to snuggle so we often curl up on the couch with a good show or movie!
“Jessica watched our two golden retrievers for us at our house for the weekend, and she did a great job! The boys looked so happy in all the photos she sent and she helped bring in some unexpected packages for us as well. I would absolutely recommend Jessica to watch your pets and your home.”

“Elizabeth was amazing. It's not easy going away worry-free on vacation, but she nailed it. I didn't leave her with any instructions and she handled everything flawlessly. Even exceeded expectations. Cannot recommend enough!”

About: As an independent contractor, I make my own schedule. This allows me to operate on a very flexible calendar. In addition to being the go-to care taker for the pets in my circle, I also have a lifestyle that allows for me to go the extra mile and hangout longer, play more, and go for longer walks! I currently make my own schedule. So pet care fits in tremendously. I work as a freelance film and commercial laborer. Being in charge of my calendar allows me to schedule accordingly to take care of your pet! Having two cats of my own, while I can't house animals at my own residence, I am very familiar with the needs of pets. Playtime, treats, head scratches, and the like. I love every animal deeply and with a great respect. I treat every space with the utmost dignity and try to keep as small of a footprint as possible when entering someone's home. I have been house sitting, dog/cat watching for many years now. I look forward to ensuring you have an enjoyable, trustworthy experience when working with me.

About: I have spent countless hours being around dogs and have experience caring for dogs of many different sizes and ages. I have owned three dogs of various breeds since they were puppies. I have also cared for pets while friends, family, and coworkers were on vacation, including cats. I am more than happy to provide care, exercise, and attention to help pets feel safe and happy while their owners are away. I currently am working full-time, consisting of three twelve hour shifts a week. The rest of my days are wide open and are filled with many outdoor walks. I am a post-graduate student who loves to stay busy and would be more than happy to fill my time with pet care. I have reliable transportation and a clean driving record in case of any emergency. I also have spent time caring for pets with particular medical needs and am more than accomdating to each individual care plan.
“Kelly was absolutely fantastic. Her communication was incredible! We found up night before our flight that we could not board our dog because she had come down with kennel cough. I found Kelly and she responded immediately that she was available! She came over the morning of the flight to meet Edith, and we knew immediately that she was perfect to watch her! We received updates and pictures and constant reassurance that everything was going well! We will always use her going forward! This was the best experience I think we’ve ever had with any boarding type of situation. This is definitely the way to go from here on out! Thank you so much, Kelly.”

About: I have had at least a decade of experience with dogs, cats, and many other animals. I have dogsat, dogwalked, and worked as a veterinary technician's assistant in the past. I am graduating with my bachelor's in animal science from the Ohio State University this May, and I will be continuing my education at Ohio State's College of Veterinary Medicine. I have plenty of experience handling dogs and cats of all health, dietary, and temperament needs. I am currently available at most times! I prefer to work on weekdays rather than weekends, but both are fine. I would rather work in the afternoon but mornings work as well. I can feed, give water, play with, walk, pet, give medicine, pick up after, and basically take care of the animal as much as possible. I will sleep over if needed and can come over for potty breaks. I am a short female, so I may not be able to walk a big dog if it runs/pulls a lot.
“Dylan housesat for us for 6 days, including feeding and walking our large lab mixes as well as giving daily medication to one of them. He also watered plants. He did a great job and was very communicative and dependable. We were grateful to find him!”

“Lauren was absolutely amazing!! She was so kind and loving with Bodi and left my place cleaner than I had it! 100% recommend and will definitely be asking Lauren to help again in the future!”

Italian Village pet parents share their Rover experiences
Bella was amazing for housesitting during my two week trip! This was my first time leaving my dog alone and she made me feel so comfortable. She provided me with daily updates and photos on how he was doing! Was very attentive and nurturing with him! And made sure she asked a lot of questions beforehand so I felt comfortable she was very prepared for things I hadn’t even considered when leaving him. She is amazing with dogs. Cannot recommend her enough!!!

Miriam took amazing care of my diabetic senior cat, Willow!! With insulin injections on a tight schedule, her care is more involved, and Miriam made sure Willow had everything she needed. She was so communicative and sent lots of updates. Will absolutely book her again in the future!! Thank you so much, Miriam! So grateful!

We are very happy with care that Stephen provided for our dog Pompey. Stephen is a very nice, polite and responsible young man. He asked all the right questions about our dog and our requirements. We would hire him again if we are in the area. He kept us updated about his stay, which we really appreciated.

Alexa was recommended to me by my coworker who also has a nervous and attached dog. She took such good care of my dog and care of my house and it was so nice to come home from a trip and have everything be nice and peaceful. My dog was so happy and content. I am so grateful.

Once again, Carlie took wonderful care of our pups, and we returned to happy dogs and a home exactly as we left it. Our golden retriever required extra attention this time due to new medication and storm anxiety, and Carlie handled both with ease. She kept us updated throughout with messages and photos, and we could tell everyone had settled in comfortably together. We’re so grateful to have her. We didn’t have a single worry while we were away!
