About: I have one dog and three cats, and I grew up taking care of both. I've dog sat for friends and family since I was young, providing both in-home pet sitting and regular check-ins. I have experience administering medication to cats (pills, liquids, and topical) as well as dogs, so I'm comfortable handling whatever your pet needs. I'm a freelance software developer, so I make my own schedule. I've worked from home since March 2020, and I've grown to really appreciate the increased time I can spend with my pets. If you'd like your dog to get an extra walk during the day or you're concerned about leaving your pets while you're out of town, I have a flexible schedule for providing the care you need! I prefer to take care of pets in your home, primarily because one of my cats is not a fan of strange dogs. For dogs, I'm happy to discuss your current walking schedule so I can ensure your dog gets the care they need. Typically, I'll do 3 walks a day (morning, afternoon, and evening) while ensuring your dog gets some extended playtime on one of these visits. For cats, I typically do daily check-ins, but I can do more or less depending on your needs. I'm self-employed and work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I can accommodate various drop in times, and I'm happy to set up times that fit your pet's needs. I prefer to do check-ins and walks from your home so I can provide the best care for your pet. I have cats at home, so for their comfort I keep visits to your home rather than my own.

My cats each have different gastrointestinal issues (IBD and a scarf-and-barfer) which require some pretty specific feeding instructions and Kelly followed them to a T, communicating with me when there were complications (which were not her fault in the slightest). About: While raising multiple dogs and cats, I have also been the sitter to many more from friends, friends of friends, and family. I guess I just keep getting hired back, since I always spare the time for someone who deserves the utmost care and consideration. I currently work as a freelance video editor with a very malleable schedule. If I am to look after your angel(s), I can most certainly fit it into my routine. Whether they yearn for outside, or they are strictly indoor creatures, I’ll ensure they stay comfortably within their environment, and feel at the height of luxury when you’re gone.

I can’t praise Abby enough! This was my first time using Rover and I will definitely use the app, and specifically her, again in the future! She was very communicative right away when I first sent her a booking request and we were quickly able to set up a meet and greet before I left for my trip a couple of days later. After our short meet and greet I could tell she was very professional and I immediately knew my cat would be in good hands. While I was gone Abby left great reports and photos in Rover about her visits and left the sweetest handwritten note for when I returned. Couldn’t recommend her enough!
We typically have our cat, Bean, stay at a pet hotel when we’re on vacation. But saw that she would always come home stressed after being in an unfamiliar environment and decided to try out a pet sitter. Leann did an excellent job taking care of Bean while we were gone. She made sure Bean got all her needs met and medications taken. We came home to Bean being very happy and chatty. Leann provided great updates and response times and we would highly recommend her to anyone!
This is the best cat sitting experience I have ever had. Even when I’ve had friends or family check in on my baby in the past no one has ever been this communicative, detail oriented, and naturally supportive. My cat can get a little feisty and Mattea was so sweet and kind to her. She warmed up and they played every visit. She did things I usually have to ask or remind people about without me mentioning it and sent so many photos which helped ease my mind while on my work trip. If I could give more stars, I truly would.
