About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family fostered and cared for cats, which sparked my lifelong passion for animal care and behavior. Professionally, I’ve worked in a dog daycare, pet store, and boarding environment, and have spent the past two years working at an animal shelter. Through these roles, I’ve gained hands on experience caring for cats, dogs, reptiles, and small mammals. I am comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and have experience working with canines who have behavioral challenges such as stranger danger, reactivity, and resource guarding. I am trained in reading canine body language and adjusting my approach to help pets feel safe and comfortable. Cats are also a particular passion of mine. In addition to caring for social cats, I have experience socializing feral and semi-feral cats and working with shy or nervous kitties who need extra patience and understanding. I currently work at an animal shelter Wednesday through Saturday. Because of this, I am primarily available Sundays through Tuesdays for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting services. I may have drop in availability the other days after 7 pm. I do my best to keep my availability up to date and will always communicate clearly about scheduling so you know exactly what to expect. My goal is to keep your pets as comfortable as possible by maintaining their normal routine while you’re away. I understand that every pet has different needs, personalities, and comfort levels, so I tailor my care to each individual animal. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, walks, enrichment activities, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a calm and respectful presence nearby, I am happy to meet them where they are. I prioritize safety, patience, and positive interactions, especially with nervous or shy pets. Communication is extremely important to me. During visits, I provide updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I've been a dog person for as long as I can remember, with over 13 years of hands-on experience covering walks, cuddles, vet visits, and everything in between. I recently lost my beloved pup to cancer, so I know firsthand what it means to love a dog deeply and care for them through every stage of life. I'm experienced with senior dogs and administering medication, and welcome large breeds . My partner Max is also home to help, so your pup is always in good hands. I only host one household at a time and am committed to giving your dog my full attention. Right now we have a pet-free home and will give your pup gets all of our attention. Your dog will be treated like a member of the family from the moment they arrive. Fri-Mon there is someone home at all times, so potty breaks can be kept to whatever schedule your dog requires. We don't often host midweek, but if we do, Tue-Thu we are able to limit alone time to approximately 4-5 hrs. I have a securely fenced yard for outdoor play and potty breaks, and will be present with you dog as long as they are outside (no leaving them alone despite the fence). Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. I'll stick to whatever routine works best for your pet, including feeding schedules, medication, and any special needs. I'm experienced with senior dogs and large breeds, and I'm happy to share regular updates and photos so you always know how your pup is doing.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since 2015, but I’ve had pets all my life. I truly treat every animal like family. Caring for my pitbull for 13 years and my cat for 8 years, immediately after that, I understand deep, loyal love. What sets me apart is my calm, intuitive energy. Pets feel safe, seen, and comforted in my care. I’m currently in the slow season with my company and have lots of time to dedicate to taking care of your fur babies. I have 2-4 hours of time I may have to work a day but the rest is becoming besties with your bestie. ☺️ I have a fenced in yard and no existing pets. I am a fourth-year medical student rotating in your city and would love to spend some time with your fur baby (& make some spending money)!! 😉 I grew up with both cats and dogs in my house & quickly learned the intricacies of caring for animals. I make it a point to assess their body language and anticipate their needs. I got my dog, Winston, when he was 8 weeks old. He is the first animal I have ever had on my own, and we have grown so much together. We took three behavioral training classes, and I am proud to say that I trained him myself! I am experienced with both puppies/kittens and senior dogs/cats. I feel comfortable administering medication, helping them use the restroom, bottle feeding...you name it! I have a very flexible schedule on my rotation (typically 8- 1 p.m.) and would be more than happy to devote some time for cuddles, exercise, and/or training with your animal while you are away/busy! Tentative Schedule: July > Las Vegas, NV August > Tucson, AZ September > Philadelphia, PA October > Columbus, OH November > Danville, PA & Detroit, MI December > Detroit, MI & Las Vegas, NV January > Loma Linda, CA February-May > Las Vegas, NV Winston and I start our day at approximately 6:00 am with a quick walk and breakfast before I head to work. We have either a play session or a training session mid-day and wrap up the evening with another walk and training before dinner. While I go to work every day, my schedule is flexible and allows me to step out whenever needed. I have ample time to add in a few walks/check-ins on your furry friends! :) Winston LOVES getting into things he should not, so I spend a lot of my time making sure that my house/backyard are picked up to avoid any issues. I would do the same for your house. He also has his own area equipped with a comfortable bed, his favorite blanket, and multiple toys of all varieties (squeaky toys, tug toys, comfort, etc.). I would make sure that your dog(s) feel(s) at home in my presence by entering slowly, letting them adjust to me (and undoubtedly smell Winston), and then watching their cues to determine my next steps. My flexible schedule allows me to exercise them both early in the morning, mid-day, and later at night!
