About: Hi! I’m Tracy — a lifelong animal lover with a Masters and PhD in environmental policy from The Ohio State University. My background reflects how deeply I care about the well-being of all creatures, great and small. Caring for pets isn’t a side gig for me; it’s something that’s been part of my life since childhood. I grew up with three wonderful dogs of various sizes, and as an adult I’ve had a large dog of my own, two small dogs, and a cat. One of my pups was adopted from a shelter, two came to me from foster parents, and my cat was a stray who chose our home — so I’m very comfortable with pets who have unique personalities, histories, or special needs. I’m gentle, patient, and very responsible. Whether your pet needs a long walk, calm companionship, or lots of playtime, I tailor my care to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. You can expect great communication, attention to detail, and a genuine love for your furry family member. I would be honored to earn your trust and care for your pets like they’re my own. 💛🐶🐾 I'm currently a home-maker, so I have a very flexible schedule to take care of your pet's needs. I have openings 7 days a week, mornings, afternoons and evenings. I prefer to come to your home to tend to your pet. I do have a fenced in yard for my dogs, but my terrier mix can be a little bossy. I'm always open to having your pet meet my terrier though if you'd like your fur baby to stay for a visit at our house.

About: As an independent contractor, I make my own schedule. This allows me to operate on a very flexible calendar. In addition to being the go-to care taker for the pets in my circle, I also have a lifestyle that allows for me to go the extra mile and hangout longer, play more, and go for longer walks! I currently make my own schedule. So pet care fits in tremendously. I work as a freelance film and commercial laborer. Being in charge of my calendar allows me to schedule accordingly to take care of your pet! Having two cats of my own, while I can't house animals at my own residence, I am very familiar with the needs of pets. Playtime, treats, head scratches, and the like. I love every animal deeply and with a great respect. I treat every space with the utmost dignity and try to keep as small of a footprint as possible when entering someone's home. I have been house sitting, dog/cat watching for many years now. I look forward to ensuring you have an enjoyable, trustworthy experience when working with me.

About: I grew up with dogs and once I started my own family, over the years we welcomed three dogs and two cats into the mix. With my kids having flown the coop, I have time, energy, and lots of love to give! For three weeks in July, I will be living at our home in Columbus, Oh and be available for drop-in visits and dog walks. Eventually, we will be living here full time and I would love to have some Ohio puppy friends:-) During the school year, we live in Alexandria, VA and I coach a variety of sports throughout the school year which keeps me busy later in the early afternoon and early evenings for a few hours during the week. The rest of the day, my time is my own and I'm available for walks, and hangouts with all the fur babies. I am extremely organized and responsible. Rest assured that any animals in my care will be treated with the all the love, care and dignity that they deserve.

About: I have 2 dogs and 3 cats. I've also pet-sat as a child for cats, dogs, rabbits, and fish. I have experience feeding pets and walking them. I love dogs, and I love walking. I'd love to make sure your fur baby gets their exercise. I currently work full time Mon-Thurs. I'm free most evenings and Fri-Sunday. I take almost daily walks in the German Village area, and I'd love for your dog to join me! I can harness and walk your dog. I will keep them on leash at all times and keep water on hand so they don't get dehydrated. I also have treats to re-direct. If you would like for me to keep them away from other dogs/people I am more than happy to do that. I can re-crate as necessary. I also can do 30 min walks up to an hour (or longer if you'd like). I'm also fine walking in rain/snow/evenings. Whatever is best for your dog! I work full time until six, but then I take my dogs on a walk or to the dog park everyday after. So I walk daily. My boys are the most friendly creatures in the world and love other people and dogs. WHAT TO EXPECT: -punctuality -dogs always leashed unless in fenced in area -Use of Go Pro to ensure safety, provide video if an emergency occurs, or you just want cute updates -have water bottle and treats for walk -will follow preferred commands/habits you like for your pet -can offer play, food refresh, or litter change for drop in visits -car has seat belt and barrier for safety if travel is required/requested I always keep my cats indoors, make sure they are away safely. My dogs are never off leash or in unsupervised situations so that they can't get into trouble. Also they are SPOILED and have all the foods and treats and toys. WEATHER ADVISORY: I will not walk any dogs when temperature is over 85°(evening may be negotiable) or 30°below as these temperatures present severe health risks to all dog breeds with any length of time.

I have lived with pets my entire life, so I know how to recognize body language and anxiety. That knowledge is supplemented by my experience volunteering at animal shelters for four years. I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at the Ohio State University. Outside of my classes, I have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I currently cannot keep pets at my home. About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family fostered and cared for cats, which sparked my lifelong passion for animal care and behavior. Professionally, I’ve worked in a dog daycare, pet store, and boarding environment, and have spent the past two years working at an animal shelter. Through these roles, I’ve gained hands on experience caring for cats, dogs, reptiles, and small mammals. I am comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and have experience working with canines who have behavioral challenges such as stranger danger, reactivity, and resource guarding. I am trained in reading canine body language and adjusting my approach to help pets feel safe and comfortable. Cats are also a particular passion of mine. In addition to caring for social cats, I have experience socializing feral and semi-feral cats and working with shy or nervous kitties who need extra patience and understanding. I am also comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and caring for multi-pet households. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I currently work at an animal shelter Wednesday through Saturday. Because of this, I am primarily available Sundays through Tuesdays for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting services. I may have drop in availability the other days after 7 pm. I do my best to keep my availability up to date and will always communicate clearly about scheduling so you know exactly what to expect. My goal is to keep your pets as comfortable as possible by maintaining their normal routine while you’re away. I understand that every pet has different needs, personalities, and comfort levels, so I tailor my care to each individual animal.
