About: I've been a dog person for as long as I can remember, with over 13 years of hands-on experience covering walks, cuddles, vet visits, and everything in between. I recently lost my beloved pup to cancer, so I know firsthand what it means to love a dog deeply and care for them through every stage of life. I'm experienced with senior dogs and administering medication, and welcome large breeds . My partner Max is also home to help, so your pup is always in good hands. I only host one household at a time and am committed to giving your dog my full attention. Right now we have a pet-free home and will give your pup gets all of our attention. Your dog will be treated like a member of the family from the moment they arrive. Fri-Mon there is someone home at all times, so potty breaks can be kept to whatever schedule your dog requires. We don't often host midweek, but if we do, Tue-Thu we are able to limit alone time to approximately 4-5 hrs. I have a securely fenced yard for outdoor play and potty breaks, and will be present with you dog as long as they are outside (no leaving them alone despite the fence). Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. I'll stick to whatever routine works best for your pet, including feeding schedules, medication, and any special needs. I'm experienced with senior dogs and large breeds, and I'm happy to share regular updates and photos so you always know how your pup is doing.

“Leaving our super shy but ultra sweet and playful duo, Tofu and Tempeh home alone for the first time was nerve-racking. Couldn’t have asked for better care than Angela. We did a dry run before the trip and then everyday drop ins. Angela went above and beyond, truly. The boys are nervous around strangers and went into deep hiding each time initially, often in different directions 😂 Angela took her time to find each of them and sent us daily updates, even if at times it was one tiny ear visible in the hiding place, which were super duper helpful and something I looked forward to each day. Within just a few days, she had worked her magic and one by one the boys emerged from hiding and lo and behold, were playing with her! Angela is very thorough, visited, checked, and cleaned their regular spots as needed. She even watered my many plants and cleaned around and gave the boys plenty of treats and toys. Our travel back was delayed and it was a huge relief that Angela had thoughtfully cleaned out the litter robot and also the living space so we could spend time reuniting with the two. It was a joyful reunion- they appear well, and full of energy! Loved all the pictures and notes throughout. Fiver stars all around. Thank you SO much Angela!”

About: I adopted a hound mix from the shelter who was so afraid of the world and has become the most well-adjusted, friendly boy in the world! I also adopted a stray dog in December who has already grown leaps and bounds! I would love to pet sit/dog walk for you and love taking dogs to their own private sniff spots when they spend numerous days with me :) I am pet-sitting full time, so I have all the time to focus on caring for pets :) I am willing to come to your home anytime of day or pet sit in my home, 7 days a week. When caring for pets in other homes, I prioritize keeping their routine as normal and consistent as possible. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walk times, medications, and any specific preferences your pet may have. Karla was our trainer at Take The Lead Dog Training and we were so impressed with her skills at helping to train our strong willed and somewhat naughty girl.
