About: I have one dog and three cats, and I grew up taking care of both. I've dog sat for friends and family since I was young, providing both in-home pet sitting and regular check-ins. I have experience administering medication to cats (pills, liquids, and topical) as well as dogs, so I'm comfortable handling whatever your pet needs. I'm a freelance software developer, so I make my own schedule. I've worked from home since March 2020, and I've grown to really appreciate the increased time I can spend with my pets. I prefer to take care of pets in your home, primarily because one of my cats is not a fan of strange dogs. Typically, I'll do 3 walks a day (morning, afternoon, and evening) while ensuring your dog gets some extended playtime on one of these visits. About: I have extensive experience in geriatric and special needs care. I've given injections, medicine, eye drops, ect. and I'm not afraid to learn more special care for your pet! I'm currently working from home and am able to care for your pet most of the day. We don't travel much and like doing house work/projects so we are home most of the time. About: I grew up in a small, rural, community in Vermont. The common practice was to just have the neighborhood kids do everything: alter serving at the local church, babysitting the kids, and petsitting when people went out of town. In my neighborhood, spread out over fields and forests, I became the default petsitter. I've been watching dogs and cats since middle-school and have enjoyed spending time with pets because my parents wouldn't let us adopt a cat until I was in high school.
