“Vanessa was awesome with my dogs while I was out of town! She was very communicative and reliable, which is exactly what a helicopter parent like me needs. I would definitely hire her again.”

“Leann is amazing. She is prompt, caring, and thorough. My cat is well taken care for if it’s just a day to even a couple of weeks. Leann scoops the litter box almost daily, plays and snuggles with my cat, makes sure to refill the water or food feeder, and especially knows how to administer oral medication for my little fur baby. Bonus points too for amazing photos. Highly recommend!”

“Happy with pet care from Savannah. Reliably came every morning and evening at same time. Followed care instructions/checklist for two cats and two dogs. Medicated one cat at every visit and took him out and in from Catio every day. Posted pics and information after every visit. Pleased that everything was clean and ready for me to take care of cats and dogs the next day.”
“Victoria did a great job taking care of our rambunctious dogs and cat. She was on-time, made our animals happy, and made sure everyone ate and went outside. I can't recommend her enough!”

“I can't reccomend Taylor enough! She took such good care of my cats and lizard while we were on vacation for a week. We have a very shy and standoffish cat and it was clear to me that Taylor made them all feel so safe and comfortable based on how willing the cats were to let her snap pics of them every day - shes a great photographer too! Great communication, punctual, flexible (thank you again for feeding and keeping an eye on our bearded dragon!), and just all around a wonderful sitter who we will absolutely be booking with again. I would trust her in my home and with my pets any day. Thank you Taylor!”

“I am so glad I found McCall! She is mature, reliable, and she really "gets" cats. I had her watch my cat while I was out of town for a couple days, and I was impressed with her communication and professionalism. My cat loved her during our initial meet & greet, which was very reassuring. He's shy, though, so McCall didn't actually see him during her drop-in visits. However, due to McCall's experience with cats, she knew that was normal and took it in stride. It was a relief to know my pet was well cared for, and that I could enjoy my trip., I enthusiastically recommend McCall and look forward to working with her again.”

“Nicole is awesome! She is always on time, consistently takes great care of our girls, and lets us know of any issues that arise with the girls. We feel very confident and comfortable knowing that she provides great care for our girls.”

“Lacey looked after our newly acquired cat while we were out of town for a week. We were nervous leaving her for the first time. Lacey sent us daily pictures and reports, which were really nice. We were able to relax on our trip knowing she was in great hands with Lacey.”

“Merri was so fantastic to coordinate and communicate with, and I'm sure Yuka loved her visits because he got to go outside! Merri is trustworthy and I appreciate the effort into doing a meet and greet to familiarize herself with Yuka.”

“Nevaeh once again was a great help for us when we needed our pets checked in on! She was timely and patient with one of our cats who was very shy at first. She did all of the things we needed and will of course reach out to her if we need her services again!”

“Abby was kind enough to let me book her last minute. She was friendly, considerate, and so good with my cat Tobi. She updated each visit with photos and made me feel at ease that Tobi is in good hands. I will definitely book her again in the future! Highly recommend Abby”

“Heather is wonderful! She sent lots of pictures and kept me updated on how our kitty was doing while we were away. Her response time is quick and professional. Severus can’t wait to see her again next weekend. Thank you Heather!”

About: Being a senior makes me old school, like being exactly on time or a bit early. I subscribe to the Dog Whisperer tenet of being ALPHA and pack leader to dogs in my care. A dog in a pack is a happy dog. I only use positive reinforcement. Ex.: dog pulling on the leash can be fixed by changing directions every 4 steps to the left, walking in a square, this encourages the dog to slow down and watch his human. Dog hair is a welcome addition to a life well lived, that's why my dogs get furniture and bed privileges. One fact about my dogs i pay attention to is how many sips of water they take. On a very hot day I've seen 30-40. This helps me know easily how my pet is feeling so I can react accordingly. Maybe time to put the soft Frisbee away! I'm fully retired, and rise early, so morning walks are easy. Breakfast is next, and 1hr later another walk outside. I like to prep a bag to take to the park. My fav is Schiller Park in German Village. I don't own a pet currently, I've had some health issues that are now resolved. Having been an owner twice in my life has given me many many experiences so I am flexible.
“I was hesitant to try Rover, but Talia has been the best! The updates included pics and a detailed description of each visit. It was clear that she not only takes the job seriously but also cares for animals. Don Julio adored her! I would recommend Talia to friends and family and will book with her again.”

Southwest pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kristen was an excellent pet sitter for my two cats! They can be skittish around strangers & take a while to warm up to new people, but Kristen won them over in just a few days through her patience, calm energy, and the occasional brush session & treat bribes. So grateful to her for keeping them healthy & happy while I was away!
Caleb was great with my dog when I needed last minute drop in visits. They left detailed descriptions of the visits with pictures and went above and beyond taking my dog to get groomed, and personally clipped his nails. I highly recommend Caleb and will be booking whenever available

Kimberlee took wonderful care of my cat, Berry, while I was abroad. From the beginning, she was professional, kind, and extremely attentive. Being away can always bring a bit of concern, but she made the entire experience stress-free. She kept me updated consistently with messages and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after and treats them with patience and affection. I came back to a happy, relaxed, and well-cared-for cat — which says everything. I would absolutely book Kimberlee again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate on Rover.
