Update: I am not as available as I used to be, but if you are one of my regulars, and see that my calendar is blocked, please feel free to send me a message. I may be available for you! I share a dog with my boyfriend (Bailey, a 2 y/o, female, yellow Labrador Retriever). She is good with other dogs and cats. She has a cat sister at his house. If your pup gets along with other dogs, I can arrange to have Bailey at our first meet & greet. If not, then she will stay at his house during your dogs stay at mine. I connected with Rover as a way to help in doing what I know and love, and for the joy of it! I used to foster dogs. I am comfortable with crate rotation, if needed. I am also comfortable with medications and some wound care. I generally allow pets on the couch and in bed, unless your training doesn't allow that. I have two large crates available, if you crate train. Please let me know if you have a preference. Otherwise, I give lots of love and walks, and will send pictures/videos!

Ellen was fabulous! She kept me updated with photos and messages each day, and I came home to a very happy dog. He sometimes seems a bit stressed out after I’ve been away, but not with Ellen. He was obviously in very good hands with her. I’m grateful for her care and attention. I highly recommend!
Ellen was incredible! She took our booking on short notice which we were super grateful for! Emilio, our 7 month foster had the best time, I don’t think he even missed us. Ellen has the perfect house, with a fenced in front and backyard so we felt confident our little guy was secure and couldn’t make a run for it. She shared updates and photos/videos throughout his stay which gave us reassurance he was in good hands and we were able to enjoy our time away! We would highly recommend Ellen, we’re so happy we found her!
Ellen was great! She was ready at the time of drop off and immediately made Kal feel welcome. She sent me pictures to let me know that my pup was doing good. Ellen had all of his things ready to go when I arrived. Her patience with my puppy was exceptional! Kal-El didn't want to get into the car. Highly recommend... I will be back.

We had a great experience with Ellen this past long weekend. She took wonderful care of our goldendoodle and made the whole process easy and stress free. Communication was excellent throughout — we received regular updates and photos that gave us real peace of mind while we were away. She truly went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I currently work full-time. Sometimes from home. If I have your pet, I will ensure I am home with some flexibility for errands, etc is best.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in back (6’ fence) and front (3.5’ fence) yard. Two story home, but can keep your dog on the first floor, if desired. I live in a walking community (German Village) and only allow dog to dog interaction if I get absolute permission from you, and from the other dog's owner, first. If you prefer no walks, just let me know!
A typical day
Walks, toy time, lots of love and petting. If your dog likes to hike, we might do that. I’ll ask you first. Your dog will be treated as though they were mine.
