Pet care experience

Lifetime Animal Activist

I was raised on a farm and have been caring for a multitude of different animals, basically since birth! I have cared for everything from a 2lb chihuahua to a 200lb Great Dane, as well as cats and farm animals. Over the years, I’ve been a repeat dog sitter for many of my friends and family. I love dogs and treat others dogs the way I would treat one of my own. I’ve bred and raised South African Boerboels, Chihuahua and Dachshunds, as well as having German Rott, American Staffordshire Terrier, Pit Bulls, Labradors and German Shepherds. I have experience with a multitude of different breeds from birth to adulthood. I make sure to find out each dogs specifics needs so that I can tailor their care to accordingly. Puppies are my specialty! I am also willing to work with your dog on basic commands and behavioral training, if desired, for a small price increase.

House Sitting • Jul 29, 2026

I chose this sitter because she was expected to stay overnight with my elderly dog for four nights. Unfortunately, my experience did not match those expectations. Before the stay, she asked to bring a friend along to stay in the house with her, which I declined. At least she asked. During the stay, I discovered through my home security system that she was not staying at my house overnight as agreed. When I contacted her during her stay after not hearing from her, she admitted she hadn’t stayed at the house the night before. I also noticed that my washer and dryer were used to do loads of laundry during the four days, even though she was not spending significant time at the house. My dog was fine, but the lack of honesty was the biggest concern for me. If your pet requires someone to truly be present overnight or you are specifically paying for house sitting rather than drop-in visits as I was, I would recommend you look elsewhere.

Beth is excellent! She put the time in to snuggle and coax Sunshine out of her sad sulk. They went on tons of walks, Sunshine got all the snuggles, and we are 100% rebooking with Beth for our next trip.

Doggy Day Care • May 30, 2026

Beth has been amazing! She’s been very accommodating with my ever changing schedule. She always makes sure to share pictures of penny throughout the day. Penny loves going to Beth’s house, and enjoys every bit of her stays. I definitely appreciate all Beth’s help with penny throughout our stay in Columbus! Would highly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter! Thank you so much Beth!

House Sitting • Dec 26, 2025

Beth was super quick to respond and so kind! She sent me pictures of my animals throughout her stay and was confident in her abilities to take care of them well. Leaving your animals with a stranger is always nerve wrecking but Beth made the experience so smooth- I appreciate it so much!
