About: I have always loved pets, especially dogs. When I was younger, probably 5th grade my family got a senior maltipoo who was great! He had a heart condition and was partially blind and deaf when we got him. He was so silly and quirky and was a great short term addition to our family. Recently I have lived and helped take care of previous college roommates’ cats and shared responsibility of a cat with my roommates two years ago. Prior to starting Rover, I occasionally helped out my close friend with her 2 older dogs (one with lots of energy like a puppy!) when she is out of town. Currently have been booking Rover sittings since late May and have been loving spending time with many furry friends!! Hi I’m Sheridan! A single 23 year old with extra time on my hands and looking to make a bit of extra money. I am currently attending graduate school at OSU for Audiology. I also work contingently at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. I’m hoping to supplement caring for pets outside of my student responsibilities while still providing the best care possible for all the pets I interact with! I am willing and able to care for your pet(s)’ many needs and look forward to providing them with as much love as they need/tolerate. Rachel was absolutely wonderful with my 3 month old puppy, Olive! She came to our home twice on Tuesday for an hour long visit each time, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Rachel was incredibly attentive—she took Olive outside, spent lots of time playing with her, and even worked on teaching her new commands. It was clear that Rachel truly loves animals and took amazing care of my sweet girl. Olive had a great time and got both the exercise and mental stimulation she needed. I would absolutely recommend Rachel to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and great with dogs!
Jovonna took care of my new puppy the first couple of months of her life while I was working. She was reliable and her communication was excellent. She helped me out on one occasion when my other sitter was unavailable at the last minute. She really helped me to feel confident leaving my young puppy home when I went to work. I can't thank her enough and hope to see her again for the occasional pet sitting need. I highly recommend Jovonna.
What a comfort to have found Allie. We had planned a big trip to Paris and London but we had never left our kids for that amount of time (11 days). At first they were reluctant to welcome her but by the end of the trip they were best friends with her. Allie provided consistent, timely visits and kept us updated with photos and texts letting us know how our kids were doing. I will definitely use her again for our next trip.
Stephanie is amazing with Ladybird, my senior dog who somehow still has triple-espresso puppy energy. Stephanie handles all that enthusiasm with total calm, care, and competence. She’s reliable, communicative, and just so sweet to Ladybird. Five stars, no notes. Highly recommend!
Emma is absolutely wonderful! She is so sweet, and my dog Bellow absolutely adores her. They have the best time together on their Monday walks. I feel extremely blessed to have found Emma—she truly eases my anxiety when I have to leave Bellow in someone else’s care.
