Pet Sitting Near North Side

About: I grew up with a dog and have been regularly walking and sitting a friend’s dog for the past two years. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. Your pup will be well taken care of!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ I work from home with a flexible schedule, which makes it easy to fit walks and drop-in visits into my day. I don’t have a dog of my own, so with a heads up, I have plenty of availability to give your pup dedicated attention when they need it. I specialize in walks and drop-in visits, so I come to your dog in their own comfortable environment. I’ll make sure they get outside, stay active, and have some playtime to keep them happy and stimulated throughout the day.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life, so being around them just feels normal to me. When I was growing up, my grandma always had two big dogs, and I spent so much time with them. They were a big part of my childhood, and I learned from a young age how to be gentle, patient, and comfortable around dogs. We’ve always had dogs at home too. My parents have Canela, our adopted dog, and she’s such an important part of the family. Adopting her made me realize that every dog is different, and sometimes all they need is a little patience, love, and consistency to feel safe. I currently live with my sister and her 8-year-old dog, Auro, so looking after a dog is just part of my everyday life. Walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles, and making sure he’s happy are all things I’m used to. I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember, so I know how much they mean to their families. I would treat your dog the same way I treat my own with lots of love, attention, and care. My goal is simply to make them feel comfortable, happy, and safe while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re with someone who genuinely loves being around animals. Since I’m currently on vacation, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to spend with your dog. I love staying active, so my ideal day includes going for walks or runs, playing at the park, and making sure dogs get the exercise and attention they need. Whether your pup enjoys being active or prefers a slower pace, I’m happy to adapt to their routine and make sure they have a fun, safe, and enjoyable time with me. Your dog’s safety and well-being will always be my top priority. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have plenty of experience caring for them, so I understand how important it is to make them feel comfortable and secure. I’ll always follow your instructions and stick to your dog’s usual routine, whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, walks, or any special preferences. I know every dog is different, and I’ll make sure they receive the same love, patience, and care that I give my own.

About: As a lifelong lover of animals with years of volunteer experience at shelters, a large reason I joined Rover is to get a chance to provide the best life possible for all pets, even in your absence. I’m a huge advocate of treating your pet(s) as if they’re my own, and ensuring that they’re as comfortable and happy as possible while they wait for their parent(s) to return! Whether you’re busy during certain days of the week or headed off on a well-earned vacation, you can rely on me to check in and take care of any walking, feeding, and playing needs (and of course sending you pictures/videos of your fur baby so you don’t miss them too much)! I also work from home, so you can rest assured that if any emergencies come up, I’ll be able to make sure your pet(s) gets the attention they need. I’m flexible in the mornings and evenings, as well as lunchtime, throughout the week. I take a pre- and post-work walk nearly everyday, so I’m often out and about anyway and available to take a detour to take care of any pet needs! 🐱 I have two cats of my own with very different attitudes, and know how particular they can be. I’ll be sure to respect your cat’s boundaries and make sure they’re comfortable with a stranger entering their home! 🐶 Full transparency: I am not a current dog owner (but hope to adopt one very soon)! But I’ve dog-sat for friends and also had a childhood dog, so I’m no stranger to canine needs.
