“Madison was great with my 1 year old dog! We went over commands that he knows and how to be consistent with the way that I usually walk him as he is still in training. She was wonderful and I feel totally confident in her ability to manage him. (He’s a large breed puppy so he can be a handful.) She was great with him and they seem to have bonded already. She is positive, friendly, and punctual. We will definitely ask her to walk Marlowe again! :-)”

“Cameron was excellent with my dog Gus! He responded quickly to my inquiry and was able to take Gus on a walk the next day. He was easy-going, friendly, and prompt. I’d love to work with him again!”

“Dana was amazing! She took our last minute booking, did a great job taking care of our girl, and went above and beyond our expectations, even brushing Arya's coat out which is a big deal on a German Shepherd! We will be a repeat client!”

About: I've been caring for dogs for 7 years and have two of my own: Kenai (10) and Juniper (6). I love all fur babies, even (especially) the reactive ones. I'm currently working from home and have lots of flexible time around my hours! I'm also available on weekends if you're finally taking that long-awaited weekend trip and can't bring your pup. I play with your pup just like I do with mine! We play tug-o-war, scavenger hunts, simple command practice, and sometimes we even break out the snuffle mat!

“Melanie has been perfect for us. She wants to learn everything about our dogs before walking them, and after 2 walks are dogs are in love with where and can’t wait for her to return for another walk.”

About: I got my first dog as a birthday present for my birthday back in first grade, but have a general love for all animals. I am originally from Ohio, but before moving out to Salt Lake City, I spent the last couple of years of undergrad working at a zoo and hanging out with giraffes driving the train and educating visitors about them. I've also been on 4 different African safari's and by far the coolest experience was being about 10 feet away from a cheetah. While I don't have a pet of my own anymore living here in Utah, I love spending time with and helping care for other people's animals, and have been doing so pretty consistently for the past 5 years. If you have other questions, feel free to ask! I am currently in graduate school getting a masters degree in social work, so pet care works well with my needs for something more flexible schedule wise that can help pay my bills while I work to finish classes. I typically stick to house sitting at the person's house, as my apartment isn't very large and I don't currently pay anything extra to be able to have pets at my apartment. When house sitting for others, they typically have ways they like things to be done and instructions they leave behind and I'm happy to keep things as close to normal for your pets as I can. In general, safety and trust are of utmost importance in my personal values. I have a certifications in safety from the Occupational Health and Safety Administration, and I also have a 40-hour certifications from both the Utah Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Utah Domestic Violence Coalition to be able to help advocate for the safety of others.

“Cesar has been a wonderful friend to Maximus. He's always been on time and spent his days walking and bringing joy to my most trusted friend. His attitude and loyalty will not be forgotten anytime soon. If I ever come back to Utah, I would choose Cesar for all of my puppy's needs. I wish you all the best, Cesar. You deserve it.”

About: I got my own cat for the first time when I was 16 and have been caring for my own animal ever since I currently have an older dachshund and he is the most spoiled boy ever. I would love to be able to be the one to give you peace of mind while you are away or take your special friend for a walk. I work part time and have 2 little boys who both love dogs as I mentioned earlier we have an older wiener dog and my boys love him so I mean I technically always caring for a pet. Snoopy has food and water out for him actively every day and I also make sure he is taken outside on a short walk every 4 hours. My dog passed away in June but he was spoiled rotten he was able to sleep on our bed and I’m ok with animals on my furniture. He had food left out for him and we refilled as necessary. My dog was always attached to me basically like one of my kids.

About: I have taken care of animals for most of my life but more recently have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that is my baby - Madison. Recently lost my 14yr old Angel, Lexington, so being on Rover is therapeutic for both Maddie and me. Both traveled the world with me but we've settled down in a new home with a large 'fairy-tail' backyard that is fenced. Your best friend will feel 'fur-bulous' here! They'll be pampered, feel right at home and have lots of outdoor space to explore and run around (3/4 acres of land in Murray). I always put a special tag “staying with a sitter” on their collars that include my name, number and address, just in case (safety first!) PLEASE NOTE: Rover now takes 20% from pet-sitters, so please consider that when booking - I’m keeping my rates the same but please remember to tip if you’re happy with the care I’ve provided for your babies 🙏🏼💕 I'm currently working from home part-time (I make my own hours) and am available for day walks, daytime dog sitting and overnight stays at my home. I have a very large fenced backyard for your fur-baby to play and explore. Your pup will have a companion to play with, my angel Madison (yay! more furrr-ends!) I'm happy to meet with you ahead of time to get to know your dog, and for your dog to interview me (let's be honest...it's their opinion that matters most!!) I'm also okay to share pictures of my home and yard and/or have you and your pup(s) stop by for a visit so they get comfortable. I'm a dog mama and know how important that can be for you and your dog(s). I have a big playpen but don't have a crate and welcome you to bring yours if you are currently crate training.

Stacey R.
“Stacey was godsend! We were stuck with no options with our little pup “Sammy” before we went out of town. We came across Stacey and as my partner said “ she has dog lover pouring out of her just from her picture!” When Stacey arrived to meet Sammy and us for approval, Sammy ignored us both and just buried himself in Stacey and Stacey buried in him. We could have left right then and Sammy wouldn’t have even noticed!! Stacey has since taken care of Sammy on many occasions whether it be when we are both away at the office for longer than planned and even just to walk him to the park in the middle of the day when neither of us are able to get up from our work from home duties. I would recommend Stacey for anyone who truly loves there fur baby.”

Kelsey H.

“Kelsey drove 12 hours in a snow storm to rescue a 12 year old Labradoodle. Do I need to say more? Scooter is probably one of the most spoiled dogs I know! In a good way. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave your fur baby it’s her. It will be loved!”
