About: All dogs are beautiful and different, so caring for them always varies! I love taking the time to get to know doggos (and let them get to know me!) as individuals to understand how to care for them best. Timid, shy, rambunctious, territorial, gentle, aloof, energetic, nervous, whatever the case, I want to help every pup feel seen and loved while their people are away. Reading body language and understanding overall dog ‘vibes’ are two of my superpowers when it comes to canines. I am incredibly active, patient, love to be outside, and can chuck a tennis ball pretty dang far! If your furry friend is hesitant around new humans I am a great fit for the pack. :) My schedule is quite flexible and open for any/all hours! Let me know what you are hoping for and we can find something that works for us! Having a stranger in your home and around a four legged family member can be quite intimidating. I am happy to earn your trust, care for your pet and interact with your home as if it was you doing so!

About: Hello! My name is Carissa and I’m a local vet tech who does pet sitting services on the side! I’ve worked with animals professionally for the last 7 years, and in veterinary medicine for the last 2 years. I’m comfortable and experienced with all creatures, big and small, and will love them like my own! I’m happy to handle any medical needs or special requests you may have for your pets care :) I have open availability at this time! I’m open for stop ins, walks or hikes, overnight stays, or more! While I have pets of my own, they are older and easy going, allowing me more time to spend with yours! I do not offer in home services at this time. Prior to any services, I would like to meet you and your pet to ensure a good fit. I’m comfortable with behaviorally challenged animals as well, and understand they need more time to open up

About: I have been passionate about animals since early childhood. My experience spans domestic pets, exotic animals, farm animals, and service dog training. Below is an overview of my lifelong work with animals: Early Childhood & Domestic Pets: -Began caring for animals at age 5 with three cats and my first dog (a Maltese) at age 8. -Personally responsible for training and caring for my dog from a young age. -Attended weekly dog obedience classes as the only child—my dog was often the most well-trained in class! -Raised and trained multiple dogs growing up, including Maltese and Border Collies. -As an adult, I have lived with and trained various breeds including Border Collies, Siberian Huskies, Dachshunds, and many toy dog mixes. Exotic Animals & Wildlife: -Became a licensed falconer at age 20; trapped and trained wild falcons for hunting. -Worked professionally with macaws, parrots, cockatoos, a raven, owls, hawks, eagles, falcons, homing pigeons, and trained rats. -Performed with and trained birds and other animals at Utah Hogle Zoo’s World of Flight bird show. -Owned and cared for freshwater aquariums, hermit crabs, and an axolotl salamander named Gary. Volunteer Work & Ranch Life: -Volunteered at the Ogden Nature Center, caring for tortoises, snakes, tarantulas, sea birds, and birds of prey. -Grew up on a ranch caring for over 20 chickens, 20 rabbits, 3 horses, 7 cats, a dog, and 3 cows. -Frequently served as a trusted house-sitter for friends’ and neighbors’ farms. -Experienced in horse husbandry and enjoy working with all farm animals. Service Dog Training: -Personally trained my Border Collie, Maki, as a certified service dog through a professional 6-month training program under the direct supervision of a certified handler at Ty The Dog Guy. -Received hands-on education in service animal training protocols, behavior management, and handler skills. -Maki now accompanies me as a fully trained service dog, with experience traveling and performing under high-pressure conditions. As a full-time indie author, I can take my work anywhere and have a highly flexible schedule. I teach one class a week at a local Sedona yoga studio and work part-time at a crystal boutique. Outside of those brief commitments, I’m home writing, reading, or happily spending time with animals. If I’m ever away from your home, it won’t be for more than 5–6 hours at a time. For pets that need specialty care—like puppies, senior dogs, or animals with specific routines—I can easily rearrange my day to be fully present and attentive. You let me know your pet’s schedule, and I’ll make it happen. I offer in-home pet sitting to keep your animals comfortable and stress-free in their familiar environment. My care style is attentive and proactive—I follow your pet’s routines for feeding, exercise, playtime, and snuggles while ensuring their space stays safe and clean. I’m excellent at puppy-proofing and making sure curious pets stay out of harm’s way. With over two decades of animal care experience, I’m confident in recognizing early signs of discomfort or distress. I have basic dog first aid knowledge, so I’m prepared to handle minor injuries or emergencies calmly and effectively. My goal is always to give your pets the same love, attention, and structure they’re used to, so they feel secure while you’re away.

“Delaney was a very caring and loving house-sitter for our dog and cat. Everything went very well over our 1 week trip. We’ll certainly use her again and again if possible.”

About: I have watched many family friend's dogs and have maintained taking care of 10 dogs all at once gracefully! I love big and small Dogs! I’m currently in college at NAU, studying psychology as I hope to be a child therapist! I hope you’ll pick me to watch your fur baby or babies as I promise I won’t disappoint! :) I make sure every animal that I watch feels loved and safe with me. I follow there daily schedule of feeding times and walk times to insure they stay on schedule with their daily patterns.

About: I have experience taking care of mostly dogs in all stages of their life, from 3 month old puppy to 12 year old lady. I’ve been around animals more years than I’ve not been, and I’ve been taking care of animals for just as many. I have experience caring for fish, dogs, and cats. Both of my cats I’ve adopted at 2 years old and 1.5 years old, so no practical kitten experience. I am looking for part time work as I finish my associates degree, so pet care can be front and center, as the classes I need are online. I have two cats inside of my apartment to keep your fur baby company if I need to leave. I can walk your dog multiple times a day (30+ minute walks with one 60+ minute walk), on top of multiple potty breaks a day. I understand the limitations of having an apartment without a yard, which is why I do not have my own dog. That being said, I have dog sat for two different friends, multiple times. Both dogs got more than double the daily walks with me than they did normally at home.

About: I have had dogs and cats my life. I was in 4H from age 10-18. I have owned chickens, rabbits and a pig. I currently have 3 dogs and a cat. I just got my bachelors degree in psychology, I have lived in Flagstaff since I was 7 and I have been animal sitting since I was about 14! I currently work full time as a server. My shifts are at most about 6 hours, but other than that my schedule is pretty flexible! I love taking long walks, staying in, and comforting your pets every need! I am attentive to my own animals and will be to yours too! My animals are my family and I treat them as such, just as I will with your animals too :)
