“Hannah took great care of my three dogs. It gave me peace of mind knowing that they were being cared for all day. She sent photos and videos every day that they were in her care. I loved seeing what they were doing. I am so grateful that we found her!”

I am medical lab scientist, runner, and animal lover. I have an active lifestyle and 1 very friendly dog as well as a few chickens! I will provide a safe and fun experience for your pet and be sure to provide you with consistent updates throughout your pet’s time with me. I would be happy to provide a tour of my home to you and your pet prior to their stay to ensure you are both happy with the space.
“Vlad was flexible, very quick to respond to communications and took great care of our floofie while we went and rode some local MTB trails. I definitely recommend him for your pet sitting needs when in Sedona.”

“Marina has such positive energy and was so good with Jake, bringing him on a hike & sending me pics of him resting comfortably in her home. I hope to be back in Sedona again soon & will definitely contact Marina if I need doggy daycare. Thanks so much!”

About: We know how stressful it can be to find the right fit for your dog. Dogs are truly part of the family, and you want to know they'll be just as cared for and comfortable as they are at home. Once your dog walks through our door, they’re part of the family — and we build their stay around whatever makes them happiest. Your pup will be the only dog in our home during their stay, so they get our full, undivided attention — no other pets to compete with for love or space. And because we both work from home full time, your dog is never left alone. They're right there with us all day, every day. Whether your dog is mellow or bursting with energy, we adjust to their vibe. Walks, trail runs, park trips, hikes — whatever makes your dog happiest, we’re up for it. If they prefer snuggling on the couch or lounging on our fenced-in deck, that’s perfect too. Senior pups, picky eaters, special diets, medications — just let us know what your dog needs and we’ll take care of it. We are both pharmacists and have experience administering medications to pets, including injections. Your dog is welcome on all the furniture and in bed, unless you tell us otherwise. We want them to feel like this is their home too, not just somewhere they're staying. A few more details: we don't have a fenced yard, but your dog will always be leashed when we're outside together to keep them safe. We do have a large fenced-in deck that's great for lounging and sniffing the fresh air, and we're just a short drive from several parks if they're up for some playtime. If your dog has a favorite bed, crate, or other belongings, we have plenty of room for them to bring it all along. Any special requests or needs — just let us know. We're here to make your dog's stay feel like a home away from home. We want your dog (and you) to feel completely comfortable! We both work from home full-time, so your dog will always have someone with them. We can take them out as often as needed and are happy to take them for car rides with us as well. We love having dogs in our home, so they are our priority during their stay! We do not have any other pets in the home and we only book one client at a time, so your dog(s) will not have to worry about any other pets.
About: Hello, I’m Shannon and I would be happy to take care of your pet. I live in Mountainaire and have a very flexible schedule. I’m open to drop ins, walks, overnights in your home and possible boarding if it’s a good fit. We have a 4 year old Australian Cattle dog Evie who is very active and fun. We go on many adventures together! We know what it is like to be away from our pet and want peace of mind they are cared for. I look forward to providing that to you and taking extra special care of your dogs/cats. I can’t wait to meet them! I have plenty of extra time to care for your animals. I walk my blue heeler Evie twice a day for at least an hour, so walking is my specialty! I can also stay for overnights if needed. Overall, I’m very flexible. We have a fenced yard and our dog is well trained. I have a soft, loving demeanor and you can trust me to provide that comfort and safety to your animal.
“Bree and her family took wonderful care of my two shelties while I was out for the day and made sure they had everything they needed to feel at home (like walks and plenty of fetch)! If I ever need daycare again in Flagstaff, I will absolutely book again!”
“Kayla takes her pet care very seriously, and it's so apparent in her manner with our Frenchie, the care she takes of him, her communication with us, and her overall concern. I highly recommend Kayla for her pet services, and we'll use her again!”

About: I have over ten years of experience with many different types of animals and I know a lot of different techniques to approaching animals that might be scared or more difficult to take care of. I am a college student back for summer break and I don’t have a job currently so I am available 24/7. I can work every day of the week and have access to transportation so I am available to drive to the animals at anytime. I can drive anywhere at any time and take animals to different places if needed. I will make sure they are well fed and watered as well as taken for walks or played with to keep them active and if they need any extra help I am more than willing to take those steps to ensure they get it.
“Mindy was awesome! We just moved here from out of state and I needed somewhere for my Lab to play and have fun while we search for a house so he wasn't locked up in an apartment all day. Mindy and her husband were both very welcoming and sweet, they have a beautiful yard and nice area for all the dogs to play, you can truly tell that they care about your pet and that they take great pride in their business. Mindy’s home is fully equipped for your dog to be safe and her yard is as well. My dog had a great time, Mindy sent me pictures of him having a blast throughout the day which was awesome. Mindy interacts with your dog makes sure they get exercise and plenty of outdoor play. I highly recommend Mindy to anyone looking for an outstanding place to take their dog for fun and to know that they will be well cared for.”

“I had a great experience with Jacob. This was mine and Hobart’s first time using Rover so we were both nervous. Jacob was very calm, sweet and attentive to Hobart his entire stay. I would book again while in town.”

“Claire was absolutely amazing and so accommodating. We were on a road trip and needed help with our pup for a day. We were so thankful to find claire willing to take care of Nyla on Christmas Day. Nyla had a great time with Claire. She had her own room to rest and got to play ball, which is her favorite activity. Overall, wonderful experience and would highly recommend Claire to anyone in Flagstaff or passing through Flagstaff.”

“Very happy with our experience from beginning to end. Moran was very caring of our 2 year old dog who has a lot of energy. She shared photos of our dog throughout the day interacting with other dogs. Highly recommend Moran to anyone looking for a loving and fun place for their doggies! Thank you so much for having room for our Justice ?”

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
