About: I have owned pets my entire life and have a genuine love for animals, especially dogs. My friends, family, and neighbors rely and trust me to take care of their fur babies. I currently work from home full-time, so I will be home with your pup to take care of all their needs. I am available every day of the week. I live in a dog friendly community where there are plenty of places for potty breaks. I have a friendly senior pup who loves making new friends.

About: I have 20 years of pet sitting experience and owned a dog running/walking business back east before moving to AZ 12 years ago. I am comfortable with dogs from puppies to seniors and cats that are friendly to the scared or bashful ones fully understanding that every pet's need is unique, and their daily rituals are paramount. I am a former chef and make organic, grain free dog treats so if your dog or cat requires a special diet, I can accommodate that so they can keep to their regular feeding schedule. I am a very active person so high energy dogs will get lots of exercise. My cat is 18 years old and needs subcutaneous IV fluids for kidney failure 3x a week. If your pet needs this while you are away, I can also accommodate for that. I work 4 days a week 10-hour shifts. If you live within Sedona, I am available to leave on lunch break to walk or feed them. Thursday night through Monday morning I am available for 24-hour care. I am down to 1 cat after about 30 years of having many cats and dogs. I am the person who would move all the way across the country instead of giving up my fur babies. My cat right now even comes to work with me and is a sort of therapy animal for us all as what we do is incredibly stressful. She receives subcutaneous fluids 3x a week and because of this careful care for her we have been able to keep her kidney failure at bay. I simply cannot imagine life without any of my babies.

Jill took my pup for a walk when I was out of town for the day. They got a good walk in despite gross hot weather. My dog loved her and I appreciated her quick communication and photo so I knew the pup was taken care of - I'll definitely book with her again when I travel and need a dog walker or sitter.

About: I grew up with a dog so I learned how to treat pets correctly from a young age. Since then I've taken care of my brothers 2 dogs often. I walk them, feed them, and make sure they're living their best life! My main job is seasonal so I will have plenty of time in the fall and winter months to come play with your pets! I should even be available during some of the summer as well to look after them! I will always be respectful while looking after your pets in your home, making sure to give all my attention to them! At home I take my dogs for nice long walks in the forest, sometimes taking them up to 5 miles at a time. They are fed at the same times every day and are outside in my backyard most days enjoying their fenced in space.

About: I’ve always had dogs my whole life, including my childhood dog Gordon, and my current dog Maestro. I’ve bathed them, fed them, and picked up their poop lol. Both have been injured and I nurtured both of them to health. I take great care and have an enormous love for animals, and I understand the trust needed in those who care for your pets. I want to be that person for you :) I currently work part time, so I’ll have a good amount of time to spend with your fluffy companions. I have a slightly irregular work schedule so communication is super important for me in figuring out good times for me to watch your pets! Let’s talk about it :) Like I was saying before, I absolutely adore animals and I’m currently in college studying forestry to one day protect the animals in the wild. I will always offer love and affection, bring them a toy or two, and maybe even some treats. Your pet will not miss out on the attention while you’re gone, I promise!

About: I am currently a local Animal Control Officer, where I regularly handle everything from routine pet care to emergency animal situations, behavioral concerns, and medical needs. Before this, I worked as a humane society manager and in a boarding facility, giving me hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and small/exotic pets of all temperaments, backgrounds, and needs. Because of my professional experience, I am especially comfortable with: • High-energy or working breeds • Nervous, reactive, or behavioral cases • Senior and special-needs animals • Medication administration (oral & injectable) I treat every pet like an individual and prioritize safety, structure, and clear communication. You can expect consistent updates, photos, and peace of mind while you’re away. My schedule is structured around my full-time role (Mon–Thurs), so I focus on providing high-quality, reliable care during my available hours rather than overbooking. If you're looking for someone experienced, dependable, and calm under pressure — I’ve got you covered. I am currently working a 0900-1900 shift on Mondays-Thursdays. I can work around my schedule to meet your needs, just let me know and we can talk about it. I cannot accept any boarding or daycares ay my own personal living space currently. I can make arrangements to sit your pets in your own home but currently not mine.

Nathan was great! We needed someone to look in on and walk our dog on short notice while we visited from out of state. My dog warmed up to him right away (which never happens), so I felt comfortable too. Nathan was coming home from a walk with Alfie when we got home, so I was able to see how much Alfie likes him. I would definitely recommend Nathan’s services, even for shy dogs like mine.

About: I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes—from dogs and cats to even raising pigs! This lifelong exposure has given me a deep understanding of animal behavior, routines, and needs. I know how important it is for dogs to get regular exercise, consistent structure, and plenty of love. Whether your pup needs high-energy playtime, long walks, or just a calm companion to keep them company, I treat every pet like a member of my own family As an online graduate student and mom, I manage my own schedule and have incredible flexibility throughout the day. Because I study from home, my routine is highly adaptable, allowing me to easily step away for frequent dog walking, potty breaks, and mid-day play sessions. I can structure my mornings, afternoons, or evenings around your pet's specific routine to ensure they get consistent care and attention. Safety and clear communication are my top priorities. When caring for your dog on walks or during drop-ins, I provide a highly responsible, focused, and nurturing environment. I am incredibly detail-oriented, respectful of your home, and strictly adhere to any specific training, feeding, or safety guidelines you provide. You can count on regular updates and total peace of mind!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember, and they’ve always held a special place in my heart. As a dog owner myself, I understand that our pets aren’t “just dogs”—they’re family. They’re there for us through life’s best moments and its toughest ones, offering unconditional love and companionship. That’s why I treat every dog in my care with the same patience, kindness, and attention I’d want for my own. Your pup’s safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, administering a consistent routine, brushing, bathing, or simply providing plenty of love and companionship, I’m committed to making sure they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is happy, safe, and having a great time. I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend and provide a loving, dependable home away from home! As a registered nurse, providing compassionate, dependable care is a part of who I am—and I bring that same level of dedication to every pet I look after. My nursing schedule gives me four days off each week, allowing me plenty of flexibility to provide attentive, personalized care for your furry family member. Whether your pup needs quick potty breaks every few hours, daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, or full-time care in the comfort of your home, I’m happy to accommodate your needs whenever my schedule allows. I understand how important routine is for dogs, and I strive to keep them comfortable, active, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible by providing reliable care, lots of affection, and regular photo and video updates so you always know your best friend is in great hands. While I’m unable to board pets in my own home at this time, I provide exceptional in-home pet care so your dog can stay happy and comfortable in the place they know best—their own home. As both a registered nurse and lifelong dog lover, I understand that trust is everything when inviting someone into your home and caring for a beloved family member. I pride myself on being dependable, honest, respectful, and attentive to every detail. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and well-being are always my highest priorities, and I’ll care for your home with the same respect and responsibility as if it were my own. By keeping your pet in their familiar environment, they can maintain their normal routine, reducing stress and helping them feel secure while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, meals, playtime, cuddle sessions, medications, or simply keeping them company, I’ll provide personalized care tailored to their needs. My goal is simple: for you to return home to a happy, healthy pup and a home that’s just as you left it. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your furry family member is safe, loved, and in caring hands.

About: I’ve been taking care of the pets for a lot of family friends ever since I could get out of the house, which was about 5 years ago. I love both dogs and cats and have a pretty high pain tolerance so if your pet gets scratchy or bitey I can tank it. I should mention I have a very mild cat allergy, but I am looking to push through it with exposure. I have ENG 105 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:20-3:35, but other than that that I don’t have anything that consistently takes up my time You’re the boss so whatever approach you want me to take I will, but I generally prefer to spend time with the pets, but if they aren’t much of a people person, I’m fine letting them chill on their own.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
