About: I have 20 years of pet sitting experience and owned a dog running/walking business back east before moving to AZ 12 years ago. I am comfortable with dogs from puppies to seniors and cats that are friendly to the scared or bashful ones fully understanding that every pet's need is unique, and their daily rituals are paramount. I am a former chef and make organic, grain free dog treats so if your dog or cat requires a special diet, I can accommodate that so they can keep to their regular feeding schedule. I am a very active person so high energy dogs will get lots of exercise. My cat is 18 years old and needs subcutaneous IV fluids for kidney failure 3x a week. If your pet needs this while you are away, I can also accommodate for that. I work 4 days a week 10-hour shifts. If you live within Sedona, I am available to leave on lunch break to walk or feed them. Thursday night through Monday morning I am available for 24-hour care. I am down to 1 cat after about 30 years of having many cats and dogs. I am the person who would move all the way across the country instead of giving up my fur babies. My cat right now even comes to work with me and is a sort of therapy animal for us all as what we do is incredibly stressful. She receives subcutaneous fluids 3x a week and because of this careful care for her we have been able to keep her kidney failure at bay. I simply cannot imagine life without any of my babies.

Question has been walking my big high energy dog for 7 months and he has done a fantastic job!! My dog gets so excited when he sees him and enjoys his walks so much, it's great to see that type of interaction. I have never had any concern about Queston accessing my home or having my dog he takes good care of both! We recently added a puppy that he started walking this month, he made the transition extremely easy. We would not have been able to add an additional family member without his assistance!! I cannot tell you how great it is to have someone I can trust to assist me with my dogs care.

Nathan was great! We needed someone to look in on and walk our dog on short notice while we visited from out of state. My dog warmed up to him right away (which never happens), so I felt comfortable too. Nathan was coming home from a walk with Alfie when we got home, so I was able to see how much Alfie likes him. I would definitely recommend Nathan’s services, even for shy dogs like mine.

About: I am currently a local Animal Control Officer, where I regularly handle everything from routine pet care to emergency animal situations, behavioral concerns, and medical needs. Before this, I worked as a humane society manager and in a boarding facility, giving me hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and small/exotic pets of all temperaments, backgrounds, and needs. Because of my professional experience, I am especially comfortable with: • High-energy or working breeds • Nervous, reactive, or behavioral cases • Senior and special-needs animals • Medication administration (oral & injectable) I treat every pet like an individual and prioritize safety, structure, and clear communication. You can expect consistent updates, photos, and peace of mind while you’re away. My schedule is structured around my full-time role (Mon–Thurs), so I focus on providing high-quality, reliable care during my available hours rather than overbooking. If you're looking for someone experienced, dependable, and calm under pressure — I’ve got you covered. I am currently working a 0900-1900 shift on Mondays-Thursdays. I can work around my schedule to meet your needs, just let me know and we can talk about it. I cannot accept any boarding or daycares ay my own personal living space currently. I can make arrangements to sit your pets in your own home but currently not mine.

About: I grew up with dogs and I've been taking care of my guy Chewy for almost 5 years now. I've had him since he was a puppy. I have used Chewy to help socialize a few different dogs and he loves meeting new animals and people. I'll treat every dog like they're my own and could always use another dog to go run with or just walk around. I currently dog sit another puppy and his dad on a semi regular basis and enjoy every time they're over. I'm currently back in school and enjoy any excuse to get away from homework and go walk outside. Me and Chewy go on a walk or run every morning but my schedule is flexible enough to adjust if other dogs are needed. Also I can take my guy out in the morning if your doge prefers or needs solo walks. I have 1 dog in my apartment. He's very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. Though he gets the hint if other dogs don't want him around. The apartment has a very large area to let dogs out that surrounds half the complex. The furniture is open to sit on and there are a few toys around to play with. Will be given access to entire apartment.

About: I grew up with 2 cats and 2 dogs. I have raised all my cats from 8 weeks as kittens! I love working with pets and getting them outside. As well as working on any training and specific phrases you and your pets may use! I’m currently a nursing student at NAU looking for part time work while I continue working on my studies. I am available surrounding my class times and love to go out for walks and hang out with animals when I am free to reconnect and ground myself to the world outside of nursing school. I have been babysitting and house sitting for 10 years. I am a very clean person and believe everyone should come home to a clean house with peace of mind knowing both their homes and pets have been taken care of. The same way I would want my house and kitten to be taken care of, I will treat and love your pets as my own!

About: I’ve cared for my own dogs and cats for many years, gaining plenty of hands-on experience with feeding, walking, and basic grooming. While I haven’t previously been paid to watch others’ pets, I’ve often volunteered to help friends and family with everything from puppy playtime to administering simple medications. I’m patient, responsible, and truly love seeing animals happy and healthy. Whether your pup is high-energy or a couch potato, I’m ready to provide plenty of love and personalized attention. I’m currently open and flexible when it comes to my schedule, which means I can adapt to your pet’s routine at virtually any time. Weekdays and weekends are all fair game for walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays. I deeply enjoy being active with animals—expect plenty of games of fetch with dogs or interactive toy sessions with cats. I’m passionate about forming a genuine bond with each pet, ensuring they get the exercise, playtime, and relaxation they need. Your pet’s comfort is my top priority. Although I live in an apartment, it’s a safe and pet-friendly space where your furry family member can relax without feeling cramped. Communication is important to me— I’ll keep you updated with messages, photos, or videos so you always know your pet is in good hands. Stephanie was a lifesaver for us while we were in Sedona. Being mildly walking, impaired and dependent on hiking sticks, I needed a solution for my dog Gabe, a lively, two-year-old golden retriever and I to hike together. I asked Stephanie if I could book a hike for Gabe and tag along the Bell rock pathway. Stephanie and Gabe were able to hike at a faster pace, looping back regularly to check on me. Gabe enjoyed Stephanie so much that we rebooked for an all day, daycare in her home. She sent pictures and updates and took great care of him giving me a break for errands. I would highly recommend Stephanie for any of her services. She is professional and knowledgeable.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Mormon Lake. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Mormon Lake.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
