“My Luna appeared to have a great time! The sitter was very responsive and had great communication. I would definitely recommend. My Luna will be looking forward to another stay!”

“Trevor and Zac are absolutely amazing! Our dog ran back inside when we arrived because he did not want to leave! Barkley is such a sweet gal that makes the stay for our dog so fun! Absolutely recommend and will use again!”
“Bree and her family are exceptional! She took care of our dog Ollie twice (we’re repeat bookers), send lovely photos, and was thorough in asking questions and getting to know our dog before we left on our trip.”

“Our dog Charlie has stayed in several different homes in multiple states. Grant & Aurora were by far the best. If you need to leave your loved one with someone you will not be disappointed. Their service and care for Charlie was spectacular.”

“Nicole and her family were great with Hugo. They took care of all of his needs so we could leave knowing he was in good hands. We could tell that Hugo enjoyed his time with them.”

About: I've cared for dogs my entire life and have more than 40 years of hands-on experience with different ages, sizes and personalities. I share my home with two dogs of my own, so caring for dogs is part of my everyday life. I have experience with basic training and enrichment, as well as caring for senior dogs who made meed a gentler pace and extra patience. I keep my guest list small so each dog gets individual attention, playtime, affection and a comfortable home environment. I also require a meet -and -greet before boarding so I can make sure every dog is a good fit. I'm currently working through September 23, so my availability is limited until then. Beginning October 1, I'll be fully available for boarding and doggy day care. I am available before October 1 to schedule meet-and greets for future stays. My schedule then will be centered around the dogs in may care, with plenty of time to play, enrichment and outdoor time. I provide care exclusively in my home, where dogs have access to a large, secure fenced yard and a dog door for easy indoor/outdoor access. I have two friendly dogs of my own and carefully introduce guest dogs to make sure everyone is comfortable together. I keep the number of guest dogs small so each dog gets plenty of individual attention, supervised play time and a comfortable home environement. I can also crate a dog if that is part of their normal routine. I require a meet-and-greet before any stay to make sure it is a good fit.
About: I’ve been a dog mom since last year and caring for my pup has quickly become the best part of my daily life. From walks and playtime to feeding, training, and cuddles, I know how much attention and love dogs need to thrive. I also helped take care of my in-laws’ dog, so I’m experienced with more than one pup at a time. Every dog I meet is treated like part of my family. Since I’m currently studying from home, I have a very flexible schedule and can give your pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available on weekdays and weekends for walks, daycare, or boarding, depending on what your pet needs. I don’t have a car so I’m not available to do pick ups or walk in visits to your home. I have a safe home with a fenced yard and one very friendly dog who loves making new friends. Safety is always my top priority, whether on walks or in the yard. I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and loved, and I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages while you’re away.

About: I’ve spent my whole life caring for family pets and that hands‑on experience is what inspired me to pursue a career as a veterinarian. Because I’ve grown up around animals and have watched over relatives' pets before. I’m comfortable with different personalities, routines, and energy levels. I’m patient with shy or anxious pets, and I’m great with playful animals who need attention and structure. Even though my experience comes from family pets, I take their care seriously: feeding on schedule, keeping them active, watching for changes in behavior, and making sure they feel safe and loved. I treat every animal like they’re part of the family, and I bring that same care to any pet I look after. I’m free any time, day or night, so your pet or your home gets my full attention. I currently do not work, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for drop‑ins, house sitting, or cat care. I’m reliable, organized, and always on time, and I was raised to leave things better than I found them. I take pride in being tidy, respectful, and extremely attentive in any home I’m trusted with. I keep things clean, follow your instructions closely, and make sure your pet’s space stays calm and comfortable. My goal is to create a peaceful, secure environment where your pet feels relaxed and cared for, and your home is left even better than when you handed it over.

“Hannah is the best! She not only communicates with an owner, but inherently knows how to handle dogs. We have a Great Dane/mastif puppy who weighs in at 115 pounds. He is a lot to handle but Hannah took care of him for two days and two nights like it was ole hat! We are very selective on who cares for our pup and we couldn’t recommend Hannah enough.”

“I can’t say enough about Jeana! The care and attention my sweet Doc “Doc” Holiday received during his visit was nothing less than perfect. Jeana was amazingly informative, sweet and very attentive to my anxious boy and his needs 🥰. I truly feel she went above and beyond, sending updates and photos throughout the day. Doc looked so happy and that was a comfort to me! Words can express my gratitude! Thank you so very much Jeana! XOXO, Doc and Mary”

About: I am a lover of all animals and have experience caring for young puppies, senior dogs, cats, and even rabbits and poultry! I offer overnight boarding, check ins, walks, and runs to higher energy pups. I can accommodate pets of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels and will make sure your pet receives the highest quality of care while you are away. I am medical lab scientist, runner, and animal lover. I have an active lifestyle and 1 very friendly dog as well as a few chickens! My priority is making you and your pets feel comfortable and safe while you are away. I offer a large fenced in yard and a playmate for boarding stays. I will provide a safe and fun experience for your pet and be sure to provide you with consistent updates throughout your pet’s time with me. I would be happy to provide a tour of my home to you and your pet prior to their stay to ensure you are both happy with the space.

“Chelsea was awesome. I dropped my dog off with her for the day and my dog loved her and I really appreciated her taking care of my dog. She took her to dog park, sent me videos, and treated my dog like it was hers. I will definitely be reaching out again when I am in the area, so helpful!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Mormon Lake home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Mormon Lake.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Mormon Lake sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
