“My Luna appeared to have a great time! The sitter was very responsive and had great communication. I would definitely recommend. My Luna will be looking forward to another stay!”

“Trevor and Zac are absolutely amazing! Our dog ran back inside when we arrived because he did not want to leave! Barkley is such a sweet gal that makes the stay for our dog so fun! Absolutely recommend and will use again!”
“I felt very confident leaving Luna with Rebecca. She’s an experienced pet care giver and her other dogs are sweet. She also sent at least one picture of Luna each day. Would book with Rebecca again!”

“Jacob was a wonderful host for Andie! He took great care of her and gave her lots of walks and attention. It’s clear he really loves dogs. We will be using him again for sure!”

“Really nice family! Great yard for the pups! Unfortunately one of our pups got sick so we had to cut our trip shirt. They were fabulous with sending videos of her and updates the whole time! Thankfully pup is doing just fine. Back to her goofy self! Highly recommend them!”

“We loved having Bree and her family watch our dog Ollie. Bree was thorough in taking notes about our dog’s routines and took the best care her, taking Ollie to baseball practice, out for walks, and giving Ollie plenary of belly rubs. We were so impressed by Bree’s care that we rebooked for a following trip. Our dog Ollie was sad to return home to us following her stay at Bree’s.”

About: I grew up with dogs and adopted my own 8 years ago. She is my whole life so I understand how important your dog is to you! I dogsit for my friends and neighbors frequently. I work from home full-time so I am home with the dogs nearly all the time, with the exception of running errands here and there. I am a very active person and happy to run or walk with your dog as much or as little as you'd like. I have a large fenced-in backyard and tons of neighborhood trails where I can walk or run your dog. I have a 9-year old female dog who is very friendly and gets along easily with all dogs.
“Nas was great. Kept me updated and sent lots of pics. We had met Nas the day before the booking and Frankie got excited and happy when we pulled up to drop her off for the night. We were able to enjoy ourselves at a wedding knowing Frankie was in good hands. I’ll be booking Nas (if available) every time we visit Sedona.”

“As always, our dogs have loved their stay at Debbie's! I really appreciate how communicative Debbie is about the dogs while they are with her. I don't know what we would do without Debbie!”

“My (very skiddish) dog has been to Brett’s house a couple times now and my dog has had zero hesitations walking into Brett’s house the first time we got there (which is rare) and did her happy cry the second time we pulled up to the house. I know my dog is in really good hands when I drop her off and love how well taken cared of and happy she seems when I reunite with my dog. Thank you, Brett!”

“Anamaria was a life saver!! I drove from TN to the Grand Canyon to hike. Fortunately, I was able to book with Anamaria day of/last minute (she kindly told me she normally does a house visit first) due to the Grand Canyon not being able to take her. She asked me specific questions about how she can take care of Sidda and she assured me that Sidda was going to be in great hands. My dog has seizures and so Anamaria and her sweet family took care of my pup. It was scary to leave her with someone I’d never met and only spoke with over the phone; however, it was the best decision. I felt relief when I got a picture of Sidda in her backyard. It’s beautiful. And when I hiked out of the canyon after a few days, I checked rover and she sent me so many pics of my pup. My heart was so happy. They loved her sooooo well. If you’re ever in need of an amazing sitter in Flagstaff or even the Grand Canyon, reach out to this one.”
“Rey was very diligent taking care of my dogs. Both dogs are pitties, very active pups with a strict routine. Rey did a great job at taking care of them and keeping up with their walks and their routine. You can tell that Rey loves animals and treats them very well. Upon my return, I found my dogs happy and that’s the best way to know that they had a great time.”

About: Being around animals equals happiness for me. I started pet sitting at age 12 and spent one of the best summers of my life volunteering at an animal sanctuary in Jalisco, Mexico with abandoned, disabled, blind and deaf domestic and wild animals. I consider animals to be the purest creatures that walk this earth, and they deserve nothing but kindness, generosity, and considerate care. To me, animals are family. I promise to look after your loved one as if they were my own, and hopefully they can spend some time with my sweet guy, Gus, if they are joining us for boarding or daycare in our home. My day job is extremely flexible, as I work from home. Occasionally I need to pop out for meetings but I am available every two hours for walks, check-ins, feeding, potty breaks, etc. I have a fully fenced yard for my Aussiedoodle, Gus, so he can spend time outdoors while I am out visiting clients. We run 3-4 miles at least 3 days per week and we walk a mile every morning and evening on the FUTS trail in my neighborhood. I like to make sure the dogs I take care of are getting the appropriate amount of exercise and time in the sunshine. The fence surrounding my backyard is fully intact, no gaps, and I have poured concrete below gates for extra safety. My yard is planted with lush grass and dog-friendly plants.

“From the beginning, Daniela was communicative and eager to care for our girl, Loosey. When certain things didn’t make sense about Rover to me, she was able to clarify without leaving me feeling anything other than better informed. Daniela and her family were so sweet and gentle with Loosey. They were busy between both children’s birthdays, and Christmas, but still we’re willing to hang out with Loosey while I was away. She even got to go with them on a couple family adventures. Daniela sent me pictures and updates the entire time I was away. I also accidentally grabbed Loosey’s leash by habit when I dropped her off and they just didn’t make a big deal about it and I was able to send them money for a new one. I was initially very nervous about leaving Loosey with strangers (this was our first time using rover), but as soon as we had our meet and greet I knew that Loosey was in good hands and I was able to relax a little and enjoy my time off from work. Highly recommend this really kind family who just went out of their way to care for my girl. Thanks, Daniela. I will definitely bring Loosey back when she needs to be sat again.”

“Claire was phenomenal and took such great care of Boone! She was extremely responsive and was very kind! Claire provided multiple updates about him throughout the weekend along with pictures to show some of the fun activities they did together. I will be booking with Claire in the future and cannot recommend her enough!”

“Very nice to work with Audrey. She took hosted my dog for 28 days while I was on a float trip through the Grand Canyon. She was great with my dog! I would definitely use her again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Munds Park
My dogs were in great care! Didn’t worry about the dogs once while on vacation. It is hard to find someone you really trust to watch your pets while you’re away. Angela was perfect in every way. She was very responsive and accommodating, sent me multiple updates daily, followed all special instructions, helped my dog with nervous poops, gave all medications, troubleshooted technical issues with their Fi collars, even replaced our poop bags! According to their collars, they got more exercise than they do with us as well! We live in Page, but specifically flew out of Flagstaff for vacation so that we could drop our 2 dogs off with her. I could go on non stop about how great she was and I hope she’s available the next time we need her.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
