Dog and cat enthusiast
I have a PhD in the philosophy of animal cognition and ethics from Duke University. I work full time as a professor at NAU. During the summer, I don’t teach, so I’m available to help with your pets all day. I’ve taken care of animals since I adopted my first dog at 8 years old. Since then, I’ve had 5 dogs and 2 cats. Currently I have a 12 year old lab mix, a 2 year old blue heeler mix, and 2 cats. I run ultramarathons and will be happy to take your pup on a trail run around Munds. I compete in powerlifting competitions so can handle walking large and strong dogs.

I have a fenced in yard. My pups love other dogs, but if your dog isn’t into others, I have a spare bedroom to separate everyone.

We booked Angela last minute and she was great with our two dogs. She did two drop in visits each day and even went out of her way to take them on walks. Will definitely be using her again!

Angela was wonderful and you could tell our dogs loved her and benefited from their time with her. Her communication, promptness, flexibility, and the fact that she was able to come to us for drop-off/pick-up really made this perfect for our trip to Flagstaff. She was able to accommodate their specific needs, including keeping them separate from her dogs. The report card on how they did and what was done while in her care was really nice too. I will confidently be booking with Angela again for future Flagstaff plans where we can’t take the dogs with us.
We were thrilled with Angela and how well she cared for our dogs. My two dogs are 10-month-old little demons. They never stop and are a force of nature. Angela took them on long walks and kept them busy all week while we were gone!

Schedule
I currently am on summer break (May-August) so am available to watch and care for your pets all day everyday. During the academic year (Sept-April) I work 12-5pm and am free mornings and evenings.
