About: I've cared for dogs my entire life and have more than 40 years of hands-on experience with different ages, sizes and personalities. I share my home with two dogs of my own, so caring for dogs is part of my everyday life. I have experience with basic training and enrichment, as well as caring for senior dogs who made meed a gentler pace and extra patience. I keep my guest list small so each dog gets individual attention, playtime, affection and a comfortable home environment. I also require a meet -and -greet before boarding so I can make sure every dog is a good fit. I'm currently working through September 23, so my availability is limited until then. Beginning October 1, I'll be fully available for boarding and doggy day care. I am available before October 1 to schedule meet-and greets for future stays. My schedule then will be centered around the dogs in may care, with plenty of time to play, enrichment and outdoor time. I provide care exclusively in my home, where dogs have access to a large, secure fenced yard and a dog door for easy indoor/outdoor access. I have two friendly dogs of my own and carefully introduce guest dogs to make sure everyone is comfortable together. I keep the number of guest dogs small so each dog gets plenty of individual attention, supervised play time and a comfortable home environement. I can also crate a dog if that is part of their normal routine. I require a meet-and-greet before any stay to make sure it is a good fit.

“I am so glad I found Shane! I had never left Sadie with a stranger before and knew I wouldn’t be comfortable boarding her in a more institutional setting. Shane offers the dogs in his care a loving, home setting. They pretty much have run of his house (at least his living room and kitchen)! He has large, comfortable beds for them on the floor and a fenced backyard with both sun and shade. He sent me photos of the hikes he took with Sadie in the early evening (when it had cooled down), and of Sadie snuggling with him on the couch. I found Shane to be a good communicator, prompt and clear. He is a dog lover, which is what you want when leaving your dog with someone!”

Janean doesn't just love dogs but she understands dog psychology. To avoid separation anxiety, she takes new dogs through the house - so they don't watch their owners drive away. Logan became part of Janean's family: hanging out in the air conditioned house with people or going through the doggie door to play with his new dog friends in one of several fenced yards. She even has a big shade tree and canopy to protect Logan's pink nose and blue eyes from the sun.”

“Tim was great with our two older dogs. Being older dogs they certainly can be difficult to deal with, but Tim interacted with them very well and they seemed to be comfortable with him from day 1. Im pretty sure the dogs loved their stay with Tim. When they came home they were happy as can be. They loved the big yard and the walks. I think it was a great environment for them, and I can tell Tim really loves dogs and enjoys their company. He will take good care of your pups. Tim was also very responsive before, during and after our booking and sent us pictures of the dogs over the booking. Thanks for the great boarding experience.”
