About: I have most of my experience caring for dogs, but I also have experience watching cats as well. Along with caring for my own dog, I currently help look after three other family dogs that I live with. My responsibilities include feeding, daily walks and hikes, vet visits, administering post-surgery care, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Most of my pet sitting experience has been through friends and family. I’ve stayed overnight at clients’ homes to care for two adult dogs at a time, especially when owners wanted someone present with the dogs as much as possible. I did this over a couple of summers for stays lasting around 1–2 weeks at a time. I am a former chef and make organic, grain free dog treats so if your dog or cat requires a special diet, I can accommodate that so they can keep to their regular feeding schedule. I am a very active person so high energy dogs will get lots of exercise. My cat is 18 years old and needs subcutaneous IV fluids for kidney failure 3x a week. If your pet needs this while you are away, I can also accommodate for that. I work 4 days a week 10-hour shifts. If you live within Sedona, I am available to leave on lunch break to walk or feed them. Thursday night through Monday morning I am available for 24-hour care. I am down to 1 cat after about 30 years of having many cats and dogs. I am the person who would move all the way across the country instead of giving up my fur babies. My cat right now even comes to work with me and is a sort of therapy animal for us all as what we do is incredibly stressful. She receives subcutaneous fluids 3x a week and because of this careful care for her we have been able to keep her kidney failure at bay. I simply cannot imagine life without any of my babies.
About: I have a great background in animal care. I started out breeding, training & showing Akitas. I did basic dog training on my own for awhile. I owned a grooming business called Prim & Pawper in NJ and also did pet sitting for a company called Fetch. I just love being around animals & treat them like family. I'm currently available 7 days a week & will work with what best fits your schedule for your pets needs. Woof woof & Meow Meow! At present I cannot care for pets in my home. I am willing to take care of your pet inside your home, whether it is daily visits for quick potty breaks or longer walks. I can stay in your home as well.

I know the pain of separation anxiety when leaving your furr-baby behind, whether it is to go on an extended trip or having to leave them at home all day while you work….it can be so hard sometimes. That’s why I feel it’s extremely important to establish trust and clear communication so that you can rest assured that your furr-baby is in good hands. I’ll treat them like my own, with gentle care and attention to detail, and provide you with updates and photos to keep you informed. My experience includes volunteering at an animal rescue, training shelter dogs, fostering, administering all kinds of medications, nail trimming, and calming animals in distress. I love working with cats and dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Please note, I practice careful sanitation procedures, especially when transitioning from one client to the next. I’m happy to wear gloves, mask, etc upon request. I’m currently substitute teaching so my hours vary during the week but it’s pretty flexible. I’m open to various assignments, but I'm mostly available during afternoons/evenings and weekends. Currently I live in a small studio with one indoor cat, so I am not offering boarding at my home at this time. I’m happy to provide services in your home.
