Our original reservation at a boarding facility fell through at the last minute, and Mindy was very flexible and we were able to set up an interview a few days prior to our departure. Eliot was obviously very well taken care of and had a ton of fun playing with other dogs and got a lot of personalized attention. I loved that he was not locked in a kennel all day and was treated like he's part of the family. We've received daily photos/videos from Mindy, which put us at ease during our trip. “From the beginning, Daniela was communicative and eager to care for our girl, Loosey. When certain things didn’t make sense about Rover to me, she was able to clarify without leaving me feeling anything other than better informed. Daniela and her family were so sweet and gentle with Loosey. They were busy between both children’s birthdays, and Christmas, but still we’re willing to hang out with Loosey while I was away. She even got to go with them on a couple family adventures. Daniela sent me pictures and updates the entire time I was away. I also accidentally grabbed Loosey’s leash by habit when I dropped her off and they just didn’t make a big deal about it and I was able to send them money for a new one. About: I have most of my experience caring for dogs, but I also have experience watching cats as well. Along with caring for my own dog, I currently help look after three other family dogs that I live with. My responsibilities include feeding, daily walks and hikes, vet visits, administering post-surgery care, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Most of my pet sitting experience has been through friends and family. I’ve stayed overnight at clients’ homes to care for two adult dogs at a time, especially when owners wanted someone present with the dogs as much as possible. I did this over a couple of summers for stays lasting around 1–2 weeks at a time. I also regularly help care for a family member’s mini poodle while they travel, either by bringing her to my home or stopping by for potty breaks, feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. I take care of my sisters dogs I also started house sitting and dog sitting, walking , feeding, bathing, and watering the plants and feeding the chickens at my bosses house, when he goes on vacations and also neighbours and friends dogs. Also I walk dogs for a lady who has ms. I am a dog lover and all dogs love me back. I had 3 chihuahuas that passed away from old age and now I have a rescue and he is amazing! I would care for your fur baby like it’s my own. I currently am working part time. I do have time to spend time and take care of your pets! If I have to go to work I will make sure your dog is fed and goes potty as well as after I get off work. I have 1 dog. He is a chihuahua mix rescue, we live in an apartment. He is free to rome around the apartment. My dog can eat when ever he wants. But if that is not the case for your dog. I feed them following your rules. I take my dog potty breaks every 4 hours .
About: I have a great background in animal care. I started out breeding, training & showing Akitas. I did basic dog training on my own for awhile. I owned a grooming business called Prim & Pawper in NJ and also did pet sitting for a company called Fetch. I just love being around animals & treat them like family. I know the pain of separation anxiety when leaving your furr-baby behind, whether it is to go on an extended trip or having to leave them at home all day while you work….it can be so hard sometimes. That’s why I feel it’s extremely important to establish trust and clear communication so that you can rest assured that your furr-baby is in good hands. I’ll treat them like my own, with gentle care and attention to detail, and provide you with updates and photos to keep you informed. My experience includes volunteering at an animal rescue, training shelter dogs, fostering, administering all kinds of medications, nail trimming, and calming animals in distress. I love working with cats and dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Please note, I practice careful sanitation procedures, especially when transitioning from one client to the next. I’m happy to wear gloves, mask, etc upon request. I’m currently substitute teaching so my hours vary during the week but it’s pretty flexible. I’m open to various assignments, but I'm mostly available during afternoons/evenings and weekends. Currently I live in a small studio with one indoor cat, so I am not offering boarding at my home at this time. I’m happy to provide services in your home.
