They have 2 beautiful golden retrievers that got along so well with her, a big backyard for all her energy, and they even stayed up with her puppy training! Alexa took care of our dog Lily for two weeks, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience. Lily is 16 years old and a tripod, so she needs extra patience, attention, and gentle care—and Alexa gave her exactly that and more. From the very beginning, I had a good feeling. Even during the booking process, her thoughtful and responsive communication reassured me that she was the right person for the job. That instinct turned out to be absolutely right. While we were away, Alexa sent many updates and photos, which meant so much to us. It gave us real peace of mind knowing Lily was not just being looked after, but genuinely cared for and loved. It was also so heartwarming to see how well Lily fit right in with Alexa’s family, including her dog Leo. Alexa is one of those rare people who truly loves animals, and it shows in everything she does. She goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. If you’re nervous about leaving your pet with someone new—especially an older dog—I completely understand and can confidently say Alexa is someone you can trust. We would absolutely book with her again.
