“This was a perfect experience. Daniela was incredibly hospitable and communication with her was seamless. it was a nice touch to have photos while we were away. Our pup, Zona did not want to leave… when we came to pick her up 😂 she had a lot of fun with the kids. We will definitely be booking with Daniela again!”

“Thanks Shane for taking care of Daisy again! She was well cared for and enjoyed the other pups staying at your place! In a short time, you got to know her and read her well. We appreciate your care and attention to Daisy! She will be back again on our next trip to Prescott.”

“Kristofer was absolutely amazing. He keep me updated on how she was doing with plenty of pictures and videos. She seemed right at home with him and his family. I will definitely be using him again in the very near future.”

“Rey was very diligent taking care of my dogs. Both dogs are pitties, very active pups with a strict routine. Rey did a great job at taking care of them and keeping up with their walks and their routine. You can tell that Rey loves animals and treats them very well. Upon my return, I found my dogs happy and that’s the best way to know that they had a great time.”

“I was visiting Prescott from San Francisco and needed a safe and secure place to leave my dog while I attended a retreat. Aspen’s home and yard were perfect for my dog. Aspen and her mom are very welcoming and take safety of your dog and other dogs seriously. They are very caring and sent me pictures and updates every day. If I’m in Prescott again I will leave my baby there!”

“Alexa was amazing. Cooper had so much fun. Loved all the updates while we were away. You can tell Alexa has such a sweet soul and cares so much for animals! Would highly recommend.”

“Kitty was awesome! I was really nervous leaving Canela with anyone. First Kitty and her husband made me feel real comfortable with them taking care of Canela. The love that Kitty has for animals is incredible. Canela was able to have interactions with other dogs safely, she was bathe, fed well, taken care of very well. When we got Canela back, she is a lot calmer, and listens more to me. She is so relaxed now. When we go out she always wants to go out with us. I feel she wants to go back to Kittys house. Which I know she was taken care of really well. Thank you Kitty! I would recommend Kitty anytime, she is the best. Anita”

“Heather provided awesome care for my fur babies. One was not eating so she suggested something and my dog liked it! I also loved all the pictures that she sent, since we were missing them so much. Would use her services again!”

“Paul and Courtney were awesome! Our little pup stayed 11 days with them (our first time leaving her), so we were a bit nervous about leaving her. They have 2 beautiful golden retrievers that got along so well with her, a big backyard for all her energy, and they even stayed up with her puppy training! We got daily updates and videos also while on our trip. I highly recommend them if you need a dog sitter!”

“Our two pups had a fantastic time at Juanita's! We received daily updates and felt confident that they were in great hands while we were traveling. Her home and fenced in property are perfect for the dogs to have room to run and play while staying safe.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 7. Growing up I always had dogs and would walk, play , feed, give medicine and bathe them. When I was 10 that was my first job I would walk and bathe the neighbors dogs. I take care of my sisters dogs I also started house sitting and dog sitting, walking , feeding, bathing, and watering the plants and feeding the chickens at my bosses house, when he goes on vacations and also neighbours and friends dogs. Also I walk dogs for a lady who has ms. I am a dog lover and all dogs love me back. I had 3 chihuahuas that passed away from old age and now I have a rescue and he is amazing! I would care for your fur baby like it’s my own. I currently am working part time. I do have time to spend time and take care of your pets! If I have to go to work I will make sure your dog is fed and goes potty as well as after I get off work. I have 1 dog. He is a chihuahua mix rescue, we live in an apartment. He is free to rome around the apartment. My dog can eat when ever he wants. But if that is not the case for your dog. I feed them following your rules. I take my dog potty breaks every 4 hours .
“Mindy and her family were great with our dog. They were very caring and sent photos every day of him interacting with other dogs and family members. Their yard is set up perfectly for multiple dogs which made us feel good about leaving our little guy. We dropped him off for daycare and he spent several nights with them. We will definitely call them the next time we travel. Thank you!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cottonwood
Daniela was wonderful with our two dogs when we dropped them off. She explained her routines which aligned with our daily routine perfectly. Daniela sent a picture and update every day and the dogs seemed very content. When we picked the dogs up from boarding, she had everything packed up and ready to go. Awesome pet care and very calm, quiet demeanor…. She is amazing!

Alexa took care of our dog Lily for two weeks, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience. Lily is 16 years old and a tripod, so she needs extra patience, attention, and gentle care—and Alexa gave her exactly that and more. From the very beginning, I had a good feeling. Even during the booking process, her thoughtful and responsive communication reassured me that she was the right person for the job. That instinct turned out to be absolutely right. While we were away, Alexa sent many updates and photos, which meant so much to us. It gave us real peace of mind knowing Lily was not just being looked after, but genuinely cared for and loved. It was also so heartwarming to see how well Lily fit right in with Alexa’s family, including her dog Leo. Alexa is one of those rare people who truly loves animals, and it shows in everything she does. She goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. If you’re nervous about leaving your pet with someone new—especially an older dog—I completely understand and can confidently say Alexa is someone you can trust. We would absolutely book with her again.

Alma and her husband Jon were absolutely amazing! They stepped in last minute the night before to watch our dog and made the whole process so easy and stress-free. They sent consistent updates, which we really appreciated, and it was clear our dog was well cared for and comfortable the entire time. Truly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter—would 100% trust them again and highly recommend!
