Hi there! My names Alexa. I’ve been taking care of animals from the ripe age of 15 years old. I started out working in boarding facilities, studied pre-vet in college, and have 6+ years Vet Tech experience! Taking care of animals is my passion. I am very knowledgeable when it comes to animals. I’ll take care of puppies/kittens, seniors, and everything in between. If they have any health concerns, no need to stress. I am proficient with oral/subcutaneous/IV medications, wound care, diabetic needs, degenerative diseases, supplementation, and more! I’ll love your babies as my own and make sure they are nothing short of happy and healthy!

Alexa took care of our dog Lily for two weeks, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience. Lily is 16 years old and a tripod, so she needs extra patience, attention, and gentle care—and Alexa gave her exactly that and more. From the very beginning, I had a good feeling. Even during the booking process, her thoughtful and responsive communication reassured me that she was the right person for the job. That instinct turned out to be absolutely right. While we were away, Alexa sent many updates and photos, which meant so much to us. It gave us real peace of mind knowing Lily was not just being looked after, but genuinely cared for and loved. It was also so heartwarming to see how well Lily fit right in with Alexa’s family, including her dog Leo. Alexa is one of those rare people who truly loves animals, and it shows in everything she does. She goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. If you’re nervous about leaving your pet with someone new—especially an older dog—I completely understand and can confidently say Alexa is someone you can trust. We would absolutely book with her again.
Ginger was so well taken care of by Alexa, she even got a pup cup from Starbucks! Thank you for a very fun day :)
Alexa is THE BEST dog sitter! Every time we pick up Chewie he’s smiling ear to ear! She will treat your dog like family ❤️
We’ve had a lot of travel this year and Alexa has been amazing at watching our dog Chewie while we are gone! He always come home happy & healthy and is always excited to go back to Alexa’s ❤️🐶

Alexa was the perfect dog sitter for our dog Chewie while we were away on a 2 week vacation! She sent plenty of updates, got him out for long walks and gave him a ton of love while we were gone. We definitely will be booking with Alexa again :)

Schedule
I am currently working full-time, but I am off on weekends and weekdays after 4:30pm! Therefore, I would be available for boarding in my home, drop-in visits/walks on weekends and weekday evenings.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard with room for the fur babies to run around and play. I have a 11 year old Aussie mix of my own and he loves new friends. All dogs are fed separately just to ensure no territorial issues. I do not keep my dog in a crate, but if you do, you’re more than welcome to bring it with!

I can take your dog on a walk around the river, for a hike on nearby trails, or even just play in our fenced-in yard at home!
