About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 10 years, helping friends, family, and neighbors with everything from daily walks to overnight care. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, from playful puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and attention. I always focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to follow any specific routines or care instructions to keep your pet happy and stress free. I work full-time in Sedona, but I’m available in the evenings and all day on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I’m reliable, consistent, communicative, and I make sure pets receive the care they require. As a cat owner, I understand how important routine and comfort are. Pets are family to me, and I’m committed to making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for.

About: *** Location: In Flagstaff May 17 through June 2. In Sedona June 11 through June 20. *** Hello! So nice to meet you. My first name is Taylor, but please call me Marie (my middle and preferred name) :-) I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your pets. I have two wonderful cats (1 adopted, 1 rescue) and two wonderful dogs (adopted); one of which is a tripod and one wears diapers -- I gravitate especially towards rescues that need a little extra care. Every pet is so special and deserves a safe and happy home! A bit about my background: I graduated with a 4.0 from Pima Medical Institute, Phoenix, in 2020 from the Veterinary Assistant Program. I graduated magna cum laude from ASU in 2015 with a BA in Creative Writing and a second BA in French linguistics/translation/literature. I also completed one semester of the Pre-Veterinary Medicine program at ASU. I am Fear Free Level 3 Certified. I've worked for Banfield Pet Hospital, Oak Creek Small Animal Clinic, and various other Small Animal vets over the years. I worked previously on Rover.com from July 2017 to May 2021, and took a hiatus because I moved from Tempe to Sedona, but unfortunately I no longer have that same Rover profile. I had, during that time, a 5-star rating from at least 35 people who were pleased with my pet care and communication and left positive reviews (thank you so much!!!). Please note that I am not currently working the field of veterinary medicine at the time of writing this in May 2026, but I'm considering going back. I currently travel in the following areas: Sedona, Cottonwood, Flagstaff, Tempe, Phoenix, and thereabouts. My schedule can usually be flexible, especially given notice. Whenever possible, I can take short-notice requests. At the moment, I tend to be in Flagstaff Mondays, in Tempe Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, and in the Sedona/Cottonwood area Friday/Saturday/Sunday. I am a professional visual and performing artist as an aerialist (dancer on silks, trapeze, corde lisse, and lyra), musician, and painter/drawer/costume designer. As an artist, I have two full-sleeve colorful botanical and animal-themed tattoos - please don't let my appearance deter you. I'm a responsible and educated pet care professional who also happens to be an artist/creative. The two loves of my life are art and animals! I have the training to be able to care for *certain* special needs, and I will communicate with you honestly (at all times) if I feel if a request is beyond my scope of experience because my priority is your pet's safety and wellbeing and I feel they should be matched with the best possible carer. I have worked with a variety of pets with different ages, abilities/needs, and breeds, and especially cats and dogs. As an important DISCLAIMER: While I do have years of vet assistant experience and formal vet assistant education, I am not a Veterinarian and not a CVT (i.e., I am not licensed to practice veterinary medicine); I can only care for your pet in the capacity as a pet sitter / dog walker and cannot provide medical care or diagnose, etc. I will always refer you to your local Vet for that type of care and will not do anything outside of my scope of expertise for the safety of your pet. I am competent, thorough, communicative, responsible, punctual, respectful, honest, and have integrity. You can be assured that your pet(s) will be safe with me. I am more than happy to provide references, and hope I will somehow be able to share my previous Rover.com reviews from my old profile. Thank you so much for your consideration! Looking forward to meeting you, -- Marie. My schedule is typically flexible! I create my own schedule for the most part outside of my classes and performances, so I have the ability to adapt. At this time, my typical schedule is Flagstaff on Mondays, Tempe area Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, and Sedona/Cottonwood area Friday/Saturday/Sunday, but this too can be flexible. I travel as an artist and work remotely. I will be able to prioritize your pet(s) and their schedule when accepting a booking and will communicate in detail about my availability to ensure it meets your expectations / your pet's needs. In your home or on a dog-walk, I will give your pet(s) my full attention to their safety, well-being, and happiness. I am consistent and committed to following directions, I am experienced and knowledgeable, and you can trust me in your home and with your precious pets. I am gentle, calm, and kind, and can also be silly/fun/playful and/or be confident/firm depending on your pet's personality, needs, and training. I've worked with a range of pets, from quiet seniors to rambunctious puppies to large-breed dogs who need a confident walker. And I especially love cats!! I unfortunately cannot care for your pets in my own home (such as daycare or pet sitting in my home) at this time because I have four of my own at home with special needs and routines.

Stephanie was a lifesaver for us while we were in Sedona. Being mildly walking, impaired and dependent on hiking sticks, I needed a solution for my dog Gabe, a lively, two-year-old golden retriever and I to hike together. I asked Stephanie if I could book a hike for Gabe and tag along the Bell rock pathway. Stephanie and Gabe were able to hike at a faster pace, looping back regularly to check on me. Gabe enjoyed Stephanie so much that we rebooked for an all day, daycare in her home. She sent pictures and updates and took great care of him giving me a break for errands. I would highly recommend Stephanie for any of her services. She is professional and knowledgeable.

About: Hello! my name is Zoie. I have 1 year of work experience and have done volunteer work for local shelters and have fostered since high school. I can help with pet transportation / sitting and pet walking. I am a pet owner myself, owning both cats and dogs and been around pets my whole life. I started working with animals when I was in high school with my mother fostering kittens then eventually started volunteering with different local shelters. I am currently between jobs, so I will be able to devote my whole time and attention to the care of your pets and their needs. Unfortunately boarding and related services will not work as I am currently living in a mobile home. You can trust I'll treat and respect your pets like they were my own.

About: My first pet sitting job was with my sister’s dog 15 years ago. I always give them all the attention they need and rubs. I love to send photos to the owners almost every day if I can to show them that they’re doing good. Also, I’ve heard from a lot of owners that their pets seem to miss them just a little bit when they get home because I was giving them so much love I think that’s a good quality. I work for myself and make my own schedule so I am able to move it around and be available when I am. I’m great with communication. My baby Sadie at home gets all my love right when I get home..always checking her gums to see if she is good if I feel she might be off. Always checking in on her in general. I’m very observant..my pets I watch I know for sure do not miss out on the love and rubs I give.

About: Hi! I have enjoyed the company of pets since I was a young girl. As an adult, I have had both adopted dogs and cats in my home for more than two decades. I have trained puppies and cared for older dogs/cats in pain towards the end of life. My beloved Sandy girl passed 4 years ago at 13 1/2 years old, but I have kept her profile on this app. Due to traveling/work I have not had an animal for the past four years. I have really missed the unconditionally loving company! I work part-time, so I am relatively flexible to walk and care for your sweet dog or cat. I’m looking for a friendly, calm, well trained pup, as well as sweet, kindly natured cats. So I’m offering to walk your dog, and care for your cat, since I am really missing a pet in my life. I try to get my pet-fix in by visiting the pet stores on adoption days, and say hi to dogs I meet on my walks in the neighborhood, but it doesn’t quite make up for it. Having used this Rover app for dog sitting of my own dog some years ago, I found this would be a good way to connect with you and your lovely pet. My specialty is walking your dog with 100% attention, without texting or being on my phone simultaneously. I’ve always found this to be so important, to actually spend quality time together during the walks. I love cats as well, and I would be very happy to come and care for your kitty/kitties. Furthermore, I might be able to pet sit at your home when you are gone.

About: I am a 19 year old student here at NAU and I love every animal I meet!! I have been dog walking for 4 years throughout high school. I also have dog sat and cat sat when needed. I am an animal lover and am looking for a pet fix while I’m away at school. I love to work with all dogs, big or small, and wish to give them the best experience possible. I am a student at NAU but often have free time in the afternoons and evenings for dog walks. I have no class on fridays which would allow for me to have a completely open schedule. My day to day schedule is different every day but is the same every week. In my time dog walking, I was trusted with the keys to multiple families home and made sure to never let anyone outside join me and always leave the house nicer than I came into it as. I have no issue with crating dogs and making sure they feel safe in their homes.

About: I have spent the last 3 years traveling while doing house/pet sits throughout Mexico, Arizona, California, Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida. My clients have included some high profile gigs in Bel-Air, Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades, and Malibu, but I have also spent months at a time living off-grid in the Mexican jungle and caring for animals on remote farms. My experience dates back to 1991 when I worked my high school summer vacations on a sheep farm to escape city life. I love ALL animals, and have had a special connection with them, my whole life. Your pets (and babies) will be comfortable with me right away. I have been a mom to birds, rodents, fish, cats, and dogs. I do have some experience with reptiles, as well. I come with many years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats from the puppy/kitten stage through their golden years, so you can rest assured that any special accommodations your fur-baby may need will be met with kindness and compassion. I am particularly fond of, and experienced with Bully Breeds, Golden Retrievers, and Doodles of all varieties. I only provide pet care in the owners home as I’ve found it is a far less stressful experience for the pets and the sitter. It’s all I do, so your pets will get tons of attention and affection. I also do occasional dog walking gigs while I’m staying at your home. Your babies are my babies while you’re away, and your home will be treated with the utmost respect. Confidentiality and privacy are considered paramount, always.

About: I have 20 years of pet sitting experience and owned a dog running/walking business back east before moving to AZ 12 years ago. I am comfortable with dogs from puppies to seniors and cats that are friendly to the scared or bashful ones fully understanding that every pet's need is unique, and their daily rituals are paramount. I am a former chef and make organic, grain free dog treats so if your dog or cat requires a special diet, I can accommodate that so they can keep to their regular feeding schedule. I am a very active person so high energy dogs will get lots of exercise. My cat is 18 years old and needs subcutaneous IV fluids for kidney failure 3x a week. If your pet needs this while you are away, I can also accommodate for that. I work 4 days a week 10-hour shifts. If you live within Sedona, I am available to leave on lunch break to walk or feed them. Thursday night through Monday morning I am available for 24-hour care. I am down to 1 cat after about 30 years of having many cats and dogs. I am the person who would move all the way across the country instead of giving up my fur babies. My cat right now even comes to work with me and is a sort of therapy animal for us all as what we do is incredibly stressful. She receives subcutaneous fluids 3x a week and because of this careful care for her we have been able to keep her kidney failure at bay. I simply cannot imagine life without any of my babies.
