“Samantha was amazing with our girl! She truly put our minds at ease while we were away by treating our fur baby like her own. She communicated consistently, sent sweet photo updates, and made sure our pup felt loved and cared for the whole time. We’re so grateful for her and highly recommend Samantha to anyone needing a trustworthy, compassionate pet sitter!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was younger. I couldn’t have a dog growing up so neighbors (more like family) would let me walk and feed their dog when I was younger. Now that I’m older I have house/dog sat for many friends when they go away. The word has spread and I’ve gotten to take care of homes/dogs of people that didn’t know me all from word of mouth. Then I found out this app existed! My lifestyle can’t support my own pet at the moment so I jump at the opportunity to spend time with others animals. I have always connected greatly with them and I like to think both myself and the animal leave feeling better than when we started! I think they are wonderful companions and we can learn a lot from them on how to be. Looking forward for the opportunity to love your animal should it arise! Thank you deeply for your consideration. I am currently working part time and remotely, where I make my own schedule so my time is extremely flexible. My party days are over so any time early morning or later on the weekends work for me as well! I am great at following directions, and can take any special details into consideration. I create a safe space through intentional time and attention. I know that dogs especially need a certain amount of love and exercise and am accustomed to, and happy to give it to them! I find I get all that love back in return when I give it to them and that feels good to me.
About: Dogs have always been family to me. I’ve had my German Shepherd since 2016, and caring for him daily has taught me consistency, patience, and how to understand a dog’s needs at every stage of life. Over the years, I’ve also helped friends and family care for their dogs — everything from walks and feeding to exercise, baths, and administering basic medications. I’m comfortable with both high-energy dogs who love runs or hikes and older pups who need gentler attention. No matter the breed or personality, I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. Pet care is already a central part of my daily life. I’ve had my German Shepherd since 2016 and caring for him every day keeps me consistent, active, and attentive. Because I’m enrolled in school full time online, I won’t be working another outside job during this period. That means I have the flexibility to reliably fit pet care into my mornings, afternoons, and evenings, giving your pets the same dependable attention I give my own. Safety and trust are always my first priorities. In a client’s home, I follow your instructions closely to keep your pets on their normal routine, making sure doors, gates, and crates are secure at all times. I keep a watchful eye on food, water, and medications, and I never leave animals in unsafe situations. In my own home, I provide a calm and pet-friendly environment, and I’m mindful about safe play, clean spaces, and supervision. Whether I’m walking your dog, feeding your cats, or staying overnight, I treat your home and your pets with the same respect and care that I give my own German Shepherd.
“Pamela was fantastic! Romeo was excited to make a new friend to go on walks with. Pamela sent pictures of Romeo on his walk and you could tell he enjoyed himself. She’s very friendly and provided the same love and care to Romeo that we would. I would definitely recommend Pamela for all your pet needs.”
About: I have over 15 years of professional pet care experience (plus 10 years personally), working with dogs, cats, and even farm animals like horses and sheep. I’ve also cared for dog litters, giving me experience with pets at every stage of life. I’m a trained volunteer with the Humane Society and regularly complete their training and refresher courses, so I stay up to date on best practices for animal care, safety, and enrichment. Whether it’s puppies, seniors, or pets with special routines, I’m confident in providing the right balance of structure and love. Because I work from home, I have plenty of time and flexibility to give pets my full attention. I enjoy walks and hikes, but I always follow the owner’s routine so pets feel safe and comfortable. I’m also happy to provide enrichment and activities to keep them engaged. What sets me apart is my reliability and communication—I follow care instructions closely and will check in with you as often as you’d like. As a lifelong animal lover who had my own dog for 10 years, I know how important pets are to the family. I truly enjoy spending time with them, and I’ll make sure your pets feel happy, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Because I work from home, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m available throughout the day for walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins, and I can easily adjust to your pet’s schedule. Since I don’t have a long commute or fixed office hours, I’m flexible and able to give pets the attention and companionship they need whenever they need it. When caring for pets in my home, I keep things calm, safe, and focused on their comfort. I only host one client at a time, so your pet gets my full attention. My home has a grassy outdoor area (unfenced), and pets are always supervised when outside. Inside, they’re welcome to relax on the furniture or even sleep in bed with me if that’s what they’re used to—it’s all about keeping their routine familiar and stress-free. In a client’s home, I make safety and trust my top priorities. I always follow your instructions closely, from feeding and walks to routines and house rules, and I double-check doors and gates to ensure your pet stays secure. I’m experienced with administering medications and managing special diets, so you can feel confident that your pet’s specific needs will be met.
“Vlad went above and beyond for Kaia and Camo, from the moment he did the meet and greet and through his time with them. He wore them out and sent us so many great pictures to update us. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone, local or visiting.”

About: Hi, I’m Alyssa — a lifelong animal lover with a big heart for dogs. I’ve had pets my entire life and fostered many through Southeast German Shepherd Rescue and Nate’s Animal Rescue, giving me experience with all kinds of dogs, personalities, and needs. What sets me apart is the genuine care, calm energy, and presence I bring to every animal I meet. I’m deeply attuned to their needs, emotions, and energy — and I always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I recently relocated to Sedona and would be truly grateful for the opportunity to support you and your dog — whether that’s through walks, drop-ins, or quality time when you need an extra hand. I’m fully flexible right now- just left my corporate job- so I’ve got plenty of time to give your dog all the love & attention they deserve ! I care for each pet as an individual, paying close attention to their unique personality. Whether they need extra play, gentle cuddles, or quiet time, I adapt my approach to ensure they feel safe, loved , and truly comfortable- whether at home or out and about.
About: Hi! My name is Kevin. I’m relatively new to the Sedona area and I would love to help care for your pup! I’m trustworthy, caring, compassionate, intelligent and active. My dog, Bodey, has been with me for almost 5 years now and I have had a few other pups, in my life before then. I was a United States Marine for 15years, with multiple distinguished honors. So, you can count on me to be professional and detail oriented with your pup and your property. I’ve never met a dog or a baby that hasn’t liked me, lol. And, I look forward to sharing time with your precious one. I own and operate a nonprofit getting Vets into the wilderness for healing, so I have no problem with getting your pup on the trails for hikes, if that what they like. Send me a message and let’s get that fur baby of yours set up! I currently work part time for myself. So, I have the freedom and flexibility to shift things around and be available when you may need. I have the availability to care for your pets in your home. I would adapt to and implement whatever schedule and regimen that you and your pet have going with any additional requests on your part. Anything outside of these parameters, that you have established, I would seek your approval first.
“Britta walked Koha twice while we were in Sedona and was amazing. She took great care of her, sent pictures, and had great communication with me before, during, and after. I really appreciated her responsiveness and care. Would definitely use her again!”
About: As a former Social Worker, Teacher and current Caregiver, I have experience caring for others. Actually, I’d rather work with animals & some children, but one needs income as well as collaboration with adults. I helped train puppies 🐶 & have cared for Senior pets with medical needs. I walk dogs as that is one of their requirements in most cases & we all need exercise! I do have a small RV so I’m willing to travel a couple of hours for longer jobs that may be a week or more. As a Caregiver, I’ve cared for people & their pets in FL, AZ, NV, NM & TX, Also in California & Louisiana some years ago. I’m residing in Payson, on-call for Teaching so if I take on a job, I can work around my schedule. I can do days, overnights and visits 2Xday. I am good with a schedule & make sure to include daily exercise with fresh air. I can bathe your pet, if needed and crate, if required. Food, water & walks are essential for wellbeing.
About: I've had dogs in the home my whole life. I know how to sense/prevent aggressive behavior in dogs and have experience administering medications. I have a very friendly Australian Cattle Dog in the home, she loves everybody! If your dog is shy/not friendly with other dogs, I do have a large dog crate with an optional divider to fit 2 smaller dogs. I work early morning shifts so I am free most of the day on weekdays and free on weekends. I work close by my home, so I am able to leave work to check on doggies if needed. My apartment does not have a fenced yard, but I do take my dog on walks very frequently around the neighborhood. Your dog can come too!
About: I treat animals as well as the angels they are. I grew up with a miniature snauzer and currently live with my adopted dachsund mix, Ollie. Your pet will receive not only their needs met but love and respect as well. I work in the mornings and have a flexible schedule. Message me with your time requests and I’ll let you know if I can make it work! I usually need a days advance notice but can occasionally honor a same day visit as I know how stressful it is to have emergencies and make sure your fur baby is taken care of:) I currently offer dog walks and drop in visits. 1. I walk your dog for fifteen minutes. 2. For a drop-in I spend about 15 mins with them or more playing games or giving back rubs, in Addition to a 15 minute dog walk so 30 minutes for a drop-in unless more is requested.
About: In addition to being an avid lover of dogs (and walks!) I'm a 22x International marathoner and minimalist backpacker and traveler, as well as a yoga and meditation instructor. As a result of the aforementioned, I enjoy (and match) pups from all over the energetic/activity spectrum, can comfortably and respectfully care for homes and animals as though they're my own, even if only for a night, and can mindfully approach pups with their comfort and needs in mind. I have experience with overnights, ranging from two to ten nights-- with pups of all ages and health profiles and give frequent text and photo updates if so desired. Over the last four years, my top three repeat pup-friends (and their homes,) which I've cared for have spanned from sweet-yet-anxious Whippet, burly-but-cuddly Pit-Boxer mix, and an active-and-energetic Bichon-Poo mix. I am new to the area and still working out my professional schedule, but would love to meet/care for local dogs in my neighborhood (Uptown.) All care will occur based out of dog parent’s home, as our rental agreement mentions solely our dog as being onsite. My dog prefers to join for socializing, but can be left at home for brief visits/walks if your dog prefers solitude!
About: Hello! In 2011 my family got a dog (Coby) and he was the best thing that happened to our collective lives! Dogs are the best gift to a home, and I’ll give your dog lots of love while you’re out of town or otherwise in need of assistance. I absolutely love dog walks, giving belly rubs, popping in for visits or staying with pups—taking care of your doggo like I would my own! I’ve returned to Sedona after some time away (working in Alaska!). Right now my schedule is open to fully care for your dog(s) as I find part-time work in the area! I love both dog sitting and dog walking and am happy to do whatever is best for you! I have helped with high energy dogs that love long walks and hikes (yes, Wilson Mountain!) to older dogs that are mostly happy in the house.

All animals (especially dogs) hold an extremely special place in my heart. Over the last five years I have worked with almost fifty different dogs ranging in a variety of age, breed, temperament, and size. I live on a 10 acre farm so there is plenty of room for your pup to exercise and play. I do have a small pup of my own who is sweet as pie. There is also an older dog, a friendly cat-dog, and chickens that live on the property during these winter months. I am a music-loving farmer with a passion for the outdoors and living life in a state of ease and joy. My week schedule is currently quite flexible. This will allow me the proper amount of time to spend with your beloved animals. If your pet is physically capable I would love the opportunity to take them on some outdoor adventures with me as well. When a new animal stays in my home I am sure to treat them just as they are part of the family. I encourage them to make themself as comfortable as possible. Lots of head pats and lovings included.
