Dog Walkers in Sedona, AZ

About: I have 20 years of pet sitting experience and owned a dog running/walking business back east before moving to AZ 12 years ago. I am comfortable with dogs from puppies to seniors and cats that are friendly to the scared or bashful ones fully understanding that every pet's need is unique, and their daily rituals are paramount. I am a former chef and make organic, grain free dog treats so if your dog or cat requires a special diet, I can accommodate that so they can keep to their regular feeding schedule. I am a very active person so high energy dogs will get lots of exercise. My cat is 18 years old and needs subcutaneous IV fluids for kidney failure 3x a week. If your pet needs this while you are away, I can also accommodate for that. I work 4 days a week 10-hour shifts. If you live within Sedona, I am available to leave on lunch break to walk or feed them. Thursday night through Monday morning I am available for 24-hour care. I am down to 1 cat after about 30 years of having many cats and dogs. I am the person who would move all the way across the country instead of giving up my fur babies. My cat right now even comes to work with me and is a sort of therapy animal for us all as what we do is incredibly stressful. She receives subcutaneous fluids 3x a week and because of this careful care for her we have been able to keep her kidney failure at bay. I simply cannot imagine life without any of my babies.

About: I treat animals as well as the angels they are. I grew up with a miniature snauzer and currently live with my adopted dachsund mix, Ollie. Your pet will receive not only their needs met but love and respect as well. I work in the mornings and have a flexible schedule. Message me with your time requests and I’ll let you know if I can make it work! I usually need a days advance notice but can occasionally honor a same day visit as I know how stressful it is to have emergencies and make sure your fur baby is taken care of:) I currently offer dog walks and drop in visits. 1. I walk your dog for fifteen minutes. 2. For a drop-in I spend about 15 mins with them or more playing games or giving back rubs, in Addition to a 15 minute dog walk so 30 minutes for a drop-in unless more is requested.

Our Golden Retriever is very friendly and playful, so visiting dogs should be very social and comfortable around other pups, be good with sharing toys. We only host one family at a time to ensure a calm, safe environment with plenty of personal attention. We take tons of pictures and send frequent updates throughout the day so you always know how your dog is doing throughout their stay. For safety reasons, we cannot host females in heat, and all visiting dogs must be house-trained and potty-trained. We can crate your dog if needed or if that’s part of their normal routine.

About: Hello! In 2011 my family got a dog (Coby) and he was the best thing that happened to our collective lives! Dogs are the best gift to a home, and I’ll give your dog lots of love while you’re out of town or otherwise in need of assistance. I absolutely love dog walks, giving belly rubs, popping in for visits or staying with pups—taking care of your doggo like I would my own! I’ve returned to Sedona after some time away (working in Alaska!). Right now my schedule is open to fully care for your dog(s) as I find part-time work in the area! I love both dog sitting and dog walking and am happy to do whatever is best for you! I have helped with high energy dogs that love long walks and hikes (yes, Wilson Mountain!) to older dogs that are mostly happy in the house.

About: Hi friends! Living in Sedona,AZ from November2023 - March 2024. I live in Washington state for the majority of the year but return to Sedona each winter to spend time with my family as my parents and sisters family all live here full time. Please ignore info below as this is my Washington state residence. Moved to Trout Lake,WA and am available for dog sitting once again! The property is used for cattle, farming, weddings and so much more during the spring, summer, and fall months. About: As a former Social Worker, Teacher and current Caregiver, I have experience caring for others. Actually, I’d rather work with animals & some children, but one needs income as well as collaboration with adults. I helped train puppies 🐶 & have cared for Senior pets with medical needs. I walk dogs as that is one of their requirements in most cases & we all need exercise! I do have a small RV so I’m willing to travel a couple of hours for longer jobs that may be a week or more. As a Caregiver, I’ve cared for people & their pets in FL, AZ, NV, NM & TX, Also in California & Louisiana some years ago. I’m residing in Payson, on-call for Teaching so if I take on a job, I can work around my schedule. I can do days, overnights and visits 2Xday. I am good with a schedule & make sure to include daily exercise with fresh air. I can bathe your pet, if needed and crate, if required. Food, water & walks are essential for wellbeing.
